Just as Katy and Lance were really getting into the moment, a loud clap of thunder boomed in the moonlight. They reluctantly pulled away. “Think we better head back to the condo?” Katy asked. “Yah, I think we better pack it up, but we have to fun by my place first.” Lance said, giving her one last sweet kiss on the lips before they got up and started to fold the blanket. Just as they were finishing it up, it started to rain. “I hope you have the keys out!!!!!!” Katy yelled as they ran up to the car, lightening flashing behind them. Lance opened the doors quickly as they hopped inside. They sang to the radio all the way to his apartment. “So what do you need to get?” Katy asked as he shut the motor off. “I have something in the house that I need your help with.” He replied. “What?” “You’ll see.” He smiled. They ran up to the door and went inside. “What’s that noise?” Katy asked hearing a ‘whining’ sound coming from the kitchen. “That is what I need your help with.” He answered as he followed her into the kitchen. When she got there, behind a baby gate she found a medium sized, light brown puppy. It had shorter hair, long ears, and a tail that just would not stop wagging. “What’s this?!?” Katy gasped as she bent down to pet the little puppy. “That my dear, is yours. But she still needs a name.” He said, kneeling down beside her to pet the puppy as well. “You are giving me a puppy?” Katy asked as she picked her up. “Yep.” he smiled, giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Oh my. Thank you. I know just what to call her too.” Katy beamed “What?” “Aurora, cuz Sleeping Beauty is my favorite fairy tale, and you are just like a dream come true.” Lance smiled at what she said and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips, causing the puppy to bark. “I think I’ll call her Roarie for short.” Katy laughed. They got the puppy’s things together and headed back to the condo.
“Oh, sorry to interrupt.” Brandi said as she walked in the condo. She was down at the pool swimming, till the rain started. “No, you’re not interrupting. Look.” Chelsea said as Joey help out the note for her to see. “Oh my God.” She gasped after she finished. “Have you done anything about it yet?” “No, we were waiting for some others to get here. you are the first one back. Justin ad Joyce are sleeping in the back room after watching a movie, and we didn’t want to wake them.” Chelsea said. “Why don’t you go and get dressed. By the time you get a shower, everyone should be home so we can talk about this.” Joey suggested as she headed back towards the bathroom.
Joey was right, when she walked, everyone was sitting around the livingroom, donning long faces. “Woh, what’s with the animals?” She asked when she entered the room. “Lance got me the puppy and Chris got Cheryl the kitten.” Katy answered as she rubbed Roarie’s tummy while she was leaning against Lance. “We all know about the note, any suggestions?” Lizzy asked. They had called her after everyone was home. She was a part of this, too. “I took the liberty of calling Lynn, she said that she would be here first thing in the morning.” “Where are our security guys?” Kimber asked. “There are guards in the main building at all times, and our security has checked with them. They will be at the studio tomorrow when we meet with the MTV crew for the first time.” Lizzy said. “You mean we still have to record tomorrow?” Brandi asked. “Yes, I’m afraid so. We can not let the public that this has started up again. Also, the guys can’t come to the studio tomorrow. Again, because of the crew.” The room was silent except for the occasional meow or bark from the pets. “I’ll see you girls tomorrow morning.” Lizzy said as she got up and left. The guys stayed for a long time after that, but left so the girls could get some sleep. All though no one really slept well, it was the thought that counted. They got up and left for the studio early the next morning. Getting through the night without another incident.
“Good morning ladies!!” Lizzy beamed as they entered the studio. Being a singer was easy for them, but now they had to be actors. They had to act as if nothing was happening. “Morning!!” They all cheerfully replied. “I would like you all to met the camera crew and reporter....” Lizzy began introductions. After the intro’s, the girls went into the studio to review some stuff as they got set up.
“Man, I am so thirsty.” Chels said as they walked out of the studio. “Me too.” Katy agreed. “Me three!!!!” Yelled Cheryl. “Ok so we are all thirsty. We’ve been singing for 3 hours straight.” Kimber smiled. “Here you go.” A guy from MTV said as he handed the girls all a bottle of water. “Thank you very much.” Brandi smiled. The guy was tall, had light brown hair, big brown eyes and a smile to die for. She was really turning up the charm. “You are very welcome. You’re Brandi right?” He asked. “That would be me.” She beamed. “It’s nice to meet you. My name is Brandon....” “Looks like she is already flirting with the cutie.” Kimber whispered to Chels. “Yah, It’s good to see her be herself again.” She nodded. “Hey guys!!” Joyce said as she walked into the room. She had been helping Lizzy with some things. “What’s up?” “We were just getting ready to record some stuff in front of the cameras.” Katy answered her. “Wanna watch?” “Sure.” She said as they walked back into the studio. “Just work like you normally would if we weren’t here.” The director said as they cameras started to roll. They went through the first take really well. “That was great girls. Let’s take it from Brandi’s descant this time. I’ll tell ya when to stop.” The record producer said over the mic in the room. The music started but instead of hearing Brandi’s voice, they heard Cheryl yell., “Quick Someone call an ambulance!!!!!”
