Chapter Five
The two girls walked inside the lodge and stopped when the saw no one. "Shouldn't there be people here" Kay said with a laugh. "Well there should be, but I'm not sure where any one is. I mean that is someone worth talking to" Mackenzie said. "Oh now isn't that something you should be saying.... hmmm you want to find a new job at a better slope....not gonna happen" Nia said walking past her younger cousin. "Nia" She yelled whipping around to face her. "Or we could just send you back to where ever you came from" she said with a smirk. "Very funny, this is Kay do you remember her?" "Not really but it's nice to meet you. Anyways hun I talked to oh what's her name and she said that she wanted us to come. To Big Bear in Cal or something like that but we are meeting her in 20 minutes in my office so don't be late" Nia said rambling on before she took off to find Desteny. "Wait, where are you going?" Her cousin stopped dead in her track. "To talk with Desteny" She said picking up her pace. "Desteny and Nia are connected at the hips always have been too" She told her friend.
"I think the person she was talking about is Sheena" Kay told her as they sat down on a plush couch in the lobby area of the hotel. "What makes you think that?" "Only cause I got a page when we were eating and when I called her she said she wanted you to be at snowed in for Mtv" Kay told her. "Are you for real?" "Yes, why would I make something up like that" "I don't know but I'm going to go to the office now so I'm not late" Mackenzie said.
*15 Minutes Later*
The four girls were sitting in Nia's office and were getting everything set up for snowed In that was to take place in Big Bear Lake Cal. "And girls there are to be some big named people there and we want you to teach them to board. And to judge a few things while your out there" Sheena said. "Can I ask how much this is all gonna cost us" Nia asked. "Nothing at all, even your friend that was so nice to me on the phone can join in. Of course since you will be working she'll have to take your phone calls for you or something. Otherwise it will cost an awful ton of money" Sheena told the girls. "Okay so when do we leave and till how long?" Mackenzie asked "Well it will be in two weeks and we will start taping part of it Thursday night till Tuesday afternoon, you see we want to give you a couple days to your self and Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will be so busy with things." "Okay thanks I'll take those days off and we'll be out there." Nia said. "Oh don't worry here are your plane tickets and all the info, your boss already knows what is going on. So all you have to do is be there." Sheena said getting up. "Sorry but I need Kay to come with me were leaving in 45 minutes to go out there see ya then" Sheena said walking out the door with Kay right behind her.
"OMG" Kenzie yelled "Oh chill, we need to get going we have a ton of work to get done." Nia told her cousin. "Oh and one more thing before I leave, those pants look better on me" and with that she walked out of the room. "You wish" kenzie yelled. "Then stay out of my closet"
