Chapter 12
Jc was clueless to why he just did what he did. He didn't even know this girl but for a couple hours. < Maybe it's the high altitude, I've heard that can really mess with your head > he thought walking back to his room which was two floors above hers.
Back inside Nias room she just stood there not knowing what to think after all she didn't know the kid plus she wasn't even a fan of them. She walked into her bathroom and washed her face and got into a pair of running shorts and a pink tank top and grabbed her running shoes. She was praying that he didn't say anything to his friends because the last thing she wanted was for Kenzie to find out.
She set off for the indoor gym, when she got down there she saw that a few other stars where down there. Carson was on one of the upper body machines and she saw JC and Justin lifting by the far wall. Once again she was praying that he didn't see her. She put her headphones on and the music of Toby Keith's "How Do You Like Me Know" came racing into her ears as she turned up the speed on the treed.
*Upstairs*
"Nia, you in here?" her cousin said opening the door that joined her and her cousins room. "Hmmm I guess not I wonder where she is" she said to herself as an evil grin began to come pun her face. "Go cuz " she yelled. Kenzie thought that she'd wait till her cousin came to her after all she didn't want to start anything. She knew just how those so called teeny boppers act. But after all she herself was in some way a teeny bopper. She went to go take a shower and go to bed after all she was going to go watch them tomorrow. Even if she wasn't gonna try for the meet thing they were doing after all she was hanging out with them day to day.
Back in the gym
"Hey J isn't that one of the girls?" Justin asked looking and pointing to the area where Nia was at. " I don't know it's not like I stalk her Justin she thought us how to board big deal" Jc said setting a weight back down. "Didn't you walk her to her room and all?" "yes and nothing at all happened so don't even think it" "I think we should see if she is busy" "Loser she is running I think she is busy" JC said bending down to tie his shoe. "Oh look my friend she is done what our luck" Justin said.
"NIA" Justin yelled out. Although she didn't turn around because she wasn't sure if they were calling to her. "NIA" he yelled again. This time she turned around and saw Justin standing no more then 3 feet away from her. "Yes Justin" "Wanna go get a drink with us" "why" she said kinda taken back by his offer. "Well we were gonna hit the small cafe and get something to drink wanna join us. Plus I'd like to learn a little bit about yourself. I know about Kenzie but not about you how come" "Because Justin un like my loving cousin I don't tell people everything about my life" She said turning and walking away. "Ah man come on do you know how many girls would love to be in your shoes right now? All it is a simple drink in the cafe with us" "Will you leave me alone if I do?" She asked all she wanted to do was go to bed all the bones in her body hurt.
"Justin leave her alone if she doesn't want to go she doesn't have to" JC said walking past him and her. "Nah she said she would so ha" Justin said walking past his friend to catch up with her. "Believe me it wont kill me to sit for a few minutes with you" she said as they entered the small cafe.
Not soon after a lady came over with menus and told them that she'd be back in a few. "Okay boys here is what you are to do" she said looking at them "What? Justin said looking at like she had lost her mind. "I need to run up and let Kenzie know that Im done here so she doesn't worry. If Im not make order me a fruit smoothly with no whipped cream on top please" She said "Hey why don't you just go call her from the desk?" they questioned. "Because talking the stairs is much better for me. " Do you have some work out thing?" "No I just like to stay fit I will be right back" she said jogging out and to the stairs. Once she got there she unlocked her room and went to go get some cash. "Nia" Kenzie said opening the door. "Yeah?" "Your late" "Ya I've been running and I forgot something I'll be done in about 15 minutes" she lied. She didn't want to tell Kenzie that she was with them because she didn't want to make her mad.
And with that she lifted and headed out and back down to the cafe taking the same way she went up.
She made it there right as everything was being brought out to them. The two boys had gotten not only a drink but something to eat. "First off how can you eat that this late and two Justin what are you drinking?" She questioned " I got what you got" he said with a smile. "Okay your gonna love it they are so good. Its all fruit well most of it" "Why didn't you get food ?" "I ate before we came we ate at the airport we had a 2 hour wait so " She said taking a sip of her drink.
