Chapter Four

In the second limo everyone sat talking and laughing. It stopped at Joey's first, and Sarah, Jen, and Joey got out. He showed them around his apartment because neither had been there. Joey told them to make themselves at home and if they wanted or needed anything to let him know. They sat in the front room for a while talking and laughing.

"Well, I want to grab a quick shower" Jen said as she stood up, leaving Joey and Sarah to talk. Sarah and joey had been best friends since high school. They were always close like brother and sister, very protective of each other. And neither ever thought the other was dating the right person.

"So Sarah…how's life?" Joey asked.

"Oh Good! How are things with you and Jen? You seem happy!"

"Yeah it's good I guess!"

"You don't seem so sure of that."

"Well, it's good at times, like today. But then there are times when I want to just go out with the group. Not really anything big. Just all of us go out together, and the last time we were all together she didn't want to. I realize we need alone time, but we don't have to spend every second of that time alone. I am used to being around thousands of people a day and it's kinda weird to be alone with just one other person at times."

"Joe, I'm sure it'll all work out with time."

"Yeah, I hope so!"

Two hours later they were on their way to Justin's house for the night.

At Lance's Condo…

"Well, welcome home!" Lance said as he opened the door. He gave them a quick tour and put Shannon's bag in the guest room, and Christina's in his room. After dating for two years everyone knew they shared a room when together. They just loved to fall asleep and wake up in each others arms. It made them both feel safe and secure.

The three of them went into the kitchen and got drinks. Then sat at the kitchen table talking. Christina could feel her eyes grow tired, and start to close. Lance suggested she go take a nap, and she excused herself.

"Well, Shannon, how's school been?"

"Good…well as best as can be expected."

"Good!"

"How's things with you?"

"Oh terrific. Couldn't be better…Well yeah it could…can I tell you something?"

"Yeah what's wrong?" Shannon asked starting to get a little concerned.

"No…nothings wrong! Well…I think I want to ask Christina to marry me soon. But I just didn't know how or if I should."

"Oh Lance!" Shannon breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well what do you think?"

"You should do it soon. And I am pretty sure she'll say yes, if that's what you want to know." Shannon answered. "As for the plan…. Hmmm…. Well lets think…." The two sat at the table and ran ideas past each other until they found the perfect one. Agreeing that it would be both sweet and romantic they noticed the time and Lance went to wake Christina up. They got into his car and drove to Justin's.

At Justin's…

Chrissy and JC stood in the kitchen kissing and preparing dinner. Between kissed they worked on the Alfredo sauce, pasta, and breadsticks. Justin and Pam had left to go get movies for the night. Kelli and Andy were setting the table for dinner. Everything was almost ready when Justin and Pam arrived at the house. They all helped set the food out and heard cars pulling up right on time.
