Chapter Two

In Atlanta Carla sat waiting on Shannon and Sarah to arrive and then the rest of them should be there after that. She couldn’t wait to see her guy. She wondered where everyone was staying in Orlando and continued in her own thoughts until she saw Shannon and Sarah exit through the gate and walk her way. Running over to them she quickly hugged them and started dragging them to gate 15 where, the other plane would land shortly.

*~*~*~*~* On the plane *~*~*~*~*

Christina was sitting by the window starring out. Her mind went to Shannon. She had been Lance’s best friend since they were four years old. At one point they had tried to carry on a relationship but had both decided they were better off as friends were. They were more like brother and sister then friends, going to each other with broken hearts and secrets. Lance was very glad that his best friend and girl friend got along well, except for when they were all together and they teamed up to get him to go out when he didn’t want to. They both had a way of getting him to do what he didn’t want to.

"Earth to Christina" a voice said, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"Geez…spaced out again!" Chrissy said.

"Sorry, what did I miss?"

"Oh nothing much!’ Pam said. "Just Trisha and Rusty, and Kelli and Andy kissing. Chrissy talking non-stop about JC and his voice, eyes, body, and personality. Jen and I were talking about what we were going to do when we saw the guys in Orlando."

"Oh, so nothing new!"

"So who all is going to be in Atlanta again?" Jen asked.

"Carla, Shannon, and Sarah!" Christina answered. "Then we have to catch our plane to Orlando. We have like twenty minutes to exit this plane and run to the next one."

"Tight schedule!" Chrissy said. "Who planned it?"

"Yeah, but we get to Orlando and into the arms of our guys sooner." Christina replied. "And JC was the one that set up the plane tickets so blame him!" Chrissy just laughed and dropped the subject.

"Well I guess I will finally get to meet Sarah then. That’s good. I have heard a lot about her from Joey but never got to meet her." Jen said. Christina went back to starring out the window as the other girls talked. As her thoughts drifted her eyes began to grow heavy and force their way closed.

As she slept she began to dream about Lance and her being together forever. She saw herself in a long white wedding dress. It had perils and beads on it and was satin. She saw the doors in front of her open and before her was a large sanctuary decorated with flowers. She looked in and saw Chrissy, JC, Pam, Justin, Chris, Carla, Joey, Sarah, Kelli, Andy, Trisha, and Rusty sitting in the first three pews. Shannon was standing at the pulpit facing her. She had a red rose in her hand and tissues. Christina began to look around the room. She saw her pastor from home, then as she began to walk into the room her white dress turned to a black A-line knee length dress. The white roses she had been holding turned red and her veil disappeared. Walking up the aisle she thought she saw a coffin, but the plane jerked and she awoke with a start.

Looking around half-awake she saw her friends with smiles and glows on their faces. They were so happy to be getting away from their normal lives just for a few days of relaxation and rest. Christina thought to herself that she hoped this happiness and love would never end. But if it ever did that they would all be able to stay friends and help each other through it.

About twenty minutes later their plane landed and they hurried off to greet the others. Then, having been delayed by ten minutes, they ran to catch the flight to Orlando. Once on the plane none of them could sit still. They wiggled and moved in their seats. Shannon, Christina, and Sarah sat talking about everything that had been going on recently and about what they wanted to do during their time in Orlando. Pam, Jen, and Chrissy talked quickly about everything that was going on and how much they missed their guys. They talked about having to get used to the late night phone calls and how hard that was to explain to their friends with out telling them why. It had only been six months since the guys announced that they had girlfriends. Then their life had changed in small ways. Everyone wanted to know who it was and where they lived and all the details they could about them, but the guys wanted the girls lives to stay normal so no one released any details except for the fact that they were all dating and weren’t single any more. Trisha, Rusty, Kelly and Andy sat catching up on a month worth of details. Both Kelli and Trisha were friends, as were Andy and Rusty so it worked well for them to get together and do things. As they neared Florida they all sat bouncing. Some had been flying for more then five hours and were tired of sitting and others just wanted to see their guys. All wanted to get off the plane and get out in the sun. When the plane landed and the seat belt sign went off, Chrissy, Carla, Pam, Jen, and Christina bolted out of their seats and ran for the exit. Followed closely by Shannon and Sarah and walking behind them at a normal pace were Trisha, Kelli, Rusty, and Andy.
