VITAL STATS:
Koski, Tina M.

Full Name: Tina Marie Farewell-Koski (I was born with the name Farewell, then I was adopted into the Koski family when I was 8)
Birth Date: 25.July.79 (a mere child of 20)
Hair: blonde (usually)... Well, now it's kinda magenta/fushia... I left the red dye in too long... and now I get all SORTS of Spice Girl comments.
Eyes: "haunting" blue (kind of greenish in some lights)
Height: 5'2" (on a good day - WITH shoes)
Weight: 134.5 lbs. (according to the doctor's scale last time I was there...)
Birth Place: O'Neill, NEBRASKA
Hometown: Omaha, NEBRASKA
High School: Graduated in 1997 from Westside High School in Omaha, NE
Current Residence: Maryville, MISSOURI
Work: I work at a "marketing research firm" (i.e. phone surveys) in Maryville, Missouri. It's not too bad, I get paid good money to sit on my butt and call people to bug them... MY idea of fun! It's cool because at night, I can prank my supervisor up at the front desk, and he's not too bright, so he never figures it out. :)
College: I was majoring in Elementary Education at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. I've since then decided that I don't want an education major. I don't know what exactly it will be yet... I might be moving to St. Louis this summer, so maybe I'll find a good school there. GOOD LORD, I've finally figured out what I want to do!! (It only took three years since my high school graduation, too!! heheh) I have decided I want to be a criminal investigator, a "profiler," if you will... I also want to throw some Psychology/Sociology in the mix there, and counsel criminals, particularly at-risk kids. Going through the foster care system, I've seen what it's done to a lot of kids, and I guess I feel for them. I want to be able to talk to them like no one was ever able to do for me. I COULD be unselfish and say I was doing it for the kids, but not really... it's a healing method for me, too. Anyway... I'm looking at University of Missouri at St. Louis, Washington University, and also Lindenwood University. Let's hope and pray I get accepted into a good program! I've figured out why college didn't really work out the first time around... I wasn't passionate about it, as I am sure I will be about this. I'll keep everyone updated on my acceptances!
Parents: Randy and Janet

~~Dad Koski is a self-employed CPA (that's Certified Public Accountant, for those of you who don't know), he owns his own business: Koski Professional Group

~~Mom Koski is an 8th-grade math/algebra teacher at Westside Middle School (yes, I went there for middle school. No, I didn't have her for a teacher... although she'd check my homework every night, and she would make me do it over till it was all correct... which was REALLY REALLY annoying to me.)

Siblings: Debra Ranae, age 18 (17.November.81) - her webpage; Brett Randall, age 15 (24.June.84) - his webpage
Favorite Sport: By and FAR, hockey!! It's my favorite sport, thanks to John... my favorite player would have to be Moe Mantha, who is John's cousin. Moe played in the NHL for 12 years, from '80-'93, on various teams, including the Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Northstars, and the Philadelphia Flyers. My favorite teams are the St. Louis Blues, and also the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres (Hulls foot was in the crease, that's all I have to say)... I center my evenings around whether or not an NHL game is going to be televised. :) (My favorite announcer is Barry Melrose because he has a cool Canadian accent... plus he's just too darn cool! You should watch ESPN during a hockey game, he's too funny!)
Hobbies: music, reading, writing, hockey

~~I've taken music lessons all my life: piano since I was in first grade, and singing up through high school... Therefore, I've developed an appreciation for ALL kinds of music... I do have a preference, sometimes, for music with a beat, that I can dance to... I love an infectious beat, one I can move to. I'm a HUGE ska/punk freak, ask anyone who's seen my CD collection! I also like to condsider myself a bit of a DJ, I love to spin! I collect vinyl, most of that stuff is DJ/ house/ techno/ electronica/ breakbeat/ triphop/ jungle drum-bass stuff. Mostly music with a transient feel and heavy bass lines. Other times, I like to relax with classical music (Pachelbel, Mozart, Debussy, Handel, Schumann, and Rachmaninov being among my favorites), or music with a flowing feel to them... stuff like Enya, or Enigma... "that new-age hippie stuff..."

~~I've LOVED reading ever since I was a little kid. In elementary school, English and Spelling were my best subjects (I even won the district spelling bee in 6th-8th grades). YES, I have run into a lamppost when I was walking and reading at the same time... but that was in 4th grade (nasty bump on my forehead, too...), and I've since perfected the art. :)

~~I also love to write my own literature, too... I guess it also stems from my love for the English language... I enjoy writing poetry a lot, and also short stories... (well... sometimes, they're not very short... but not as long as a novel, either...) I've posted some of my writings on my page, under TINA'S Poetry, so if you want to read some, follow the link. :)

I've had enough, lemme go back and look at the other fascinating things on Tina's page!!
