Instructor Spotlight: Mr. Jacob Kiefer

Head Instructor Warrior MMA Fremont, Nebraska

Jacob is our Head Instructor of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and founded the RWTB Warrior MMA class in Fremont, NE Jacob holds a Black Belt Expert status (which is the highest rank currently awarded under Soke Rosenbach), Jacob also holds an Instructor Status in Weapons Instruction.

“Jacob has been with us since Junior High. Jacob recently competed and had his debut amateur fight in Mixed Martial Arts (at Cage of Honor 32 in Joplin, MO). He won his first match by submission (leg triangle). Jacob’s showing in that initial bout (which was also the first fight of the evening) was so impressive that his fight won the coveted “Fight of the Night” award. Jacob is a warrior and a master technician of ground fighting!”

Jacob has taught grappling clinics in the Fremont studio and in several of our sanctioned RWTB branches.

"Jacob has also helped to create a strong community of adult warriors and learners in our school. Jacob has always been a talented martial artist but I’ve had the unique privilege to watch Jacob transform into what I would consider a master Instructor, teacher, and a professional lifelong learner of the martial arts and martial sports. You could ask any of our adult students how much they respect Mr. Kiefer; I guarantee they would have a hard time parsing it. He’s a model instructor leading by example; he challenges the students of RWTB to reach higher and train harder, he’s become a standard bearer for excellence in our school."

Jacob is married to Jenni Kiefer and has 3 children Tanner, Katie, and Autumn (who as of this writing is now 7 months old).
