CHAPTER ONE
Welcome to the Rosie O'Donnell show!! Now HERES Rosie!!
"Hello everyone. Welcome to my special today. You are in for a treat. We have
the bands High Harmonies and N Sync here today!!! to open up the show for us,
here is N Sync with TUMH"!! (after the song they go to commercial)
" We're back."Rosie announces, "Did you guys like that song?" (crowd goes wild) "Here is our first guest. They are a group of 5 girls: Katy, Brandi, Kimberly, Chelsea,
and Cheryl. They are High Harmonies!!!!" (the girls in the crowd yell as the
guys bark, it is a thing from their concerts, it's all good) They come out
wearing some comfy digs from Gap, Old Navy, and Abercrombie and Fisch.
" Welcome to the show and thanks for being on my hot band special."
"Thanks for having us Rosie. We are very glad to be here." the girls exclaim.
"You guys are very big right now, but we haven't heard a lot from you in a
while. What have you been up to?"
" We have been touring Europe and Asia for the last 4 months" Katy exclaims.
"Wow. You burst on the scene and your records have been doing great, you are
#1 right now with your ballad Secrets. But there weren't many interviews
done."
"Yah we released everything and it was doing better over here on its own so
we went over seas to do promos, and it just snowballed from there."Kimberly
replied.
"For this show, I wanted it to be very audience interactive. So we did some polls on what they wanted to know. So all of the ?'s are theirs.First, how did you all get together?"
"We all lived in the Kansas City, Missouri metro area and went to the same high school, just not all at the same time. "Cheryl replied" and Brandi and I are cousins."
"How did you guys get discovered?"
"We made demos and sent them out. We got a call back, relocated to NYC,
recorded, and the rest is history." Katy said.
"How old are all of you?"
"Katy-18 Brandi-16 Chelsea-20 Kimberly-21, and I'm 25." Cheryl answered.
"That is quite a range. Are you gonna be touring in the US soon?"
" We will be doing a 3 month regular tour, but then there is a project in the
works to do a charity tour for 2 mo, where we would tour with another band
doing 2 shows in a town where all the proceeds would go to different
charities." Katy replied
"That would be realy incredable. Do you have another group yet?"
"na" they all chime in.
"You gals know that N sync will be out later?"
"oh yah," the all say excitedly.
"Do you all like them? are you fans?"
"Well, we all like them, but Katy and Brandi here are gaga for them" Chelsea
says, as Katy and Brandi give her the look of death and turn pretty red.
"ssshhhhhh, that's enough" Brandi pipes up.
"So you guys are gonna take us to break with your dance song that is number 4
on the charts right now, 'When You're Not There'."
"yup" they answer together.
"Will you guys come back later do a joint interview with them?"
"of course. Anything for you Rosie" Katy says.

(N Sync talking backstage)
"Hey guys they said they like us!!!!!!!" Justin exclaims while watching the
monitor.
"yah, you just wanna date man." Says Lance.
"so, at least I don't listen to their cd 24/7 like some." Justin replies.
"Hey, be nice to JC!" Lance jokes.(as a pillow from the couch fly's narrowly missing Lance's head, throwen by JC)

as they come back from commercial N Sync sings GMHSALMTOY
(they wore those hot suits with different colored shirts. nuff said)
"That was great guys!! Welcome to the special ."Rosie says
"Thanks for having us. We have something for you." JC exclaims as they each give
her a rose.
"You guys are great. Thank you. For that I almost. ALMOST forgot about my
Tommy for minute, but I didn't.Did you hear High Harmonies earlier?"
"Yah they did really good." JC said.
"Yah, we were groovin back there."Chris piped up.
"So you like them?"
"Wou could say that."JC said
"what? Are you really big fans or something?"
"They are pretty much one of the few groups we can all agree on to listen to
their cd on the bus;" Chris said "and Justin and Lance have a big thing
for.."as he was hit upside the head by the 2 of them, he stopped what he was
saying.
"So what have you all been up to?"
"We are just starting a 3 mo tour in the US"Lance replied.
"And after that?"
"We don't have set plans after that, but we liked to idea of that charity tour
HH mentioned"Joey said.
"Come on, you just wanna tour with them,"mimiked Chris.
"And you have a problem with that?"replied Joey
"Ok guys calm down. I think now is a good time to have them sing their ballad
'Secrets'. Here's High Harmonies!" Rosie anounced.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~They sing then, the joint interview after a commerial~~~~~~~
"Welcome back ladies. That was great. I love that song." Rosie began.
"So do we!" The guys added'
"Thanks." They all replied. (they were all wearing long straight dresses with no
sleeves, each a diff color)
"So you two groups seem to be fans of each other, have you ever met?"
"no" They all answered.
"Well, we did a viewer poll. It was: If 2 people had to get together, who would
it be? It ended up being N Sync and High Harmonies. What do you think
about that?"
"Cool, awesome, frieky, weird, rad!"Everyone interjected.
"Rad?" exclaimed Cheryl.
"Yah rad. Got a prob with rad?" Chris added.
"No, I just thought I was the only one who said that anymore"Cheryl replied.
"Well that is all we have time for today, so see ya next time!!!!!!"Rosie said
to the audience.

"It was really nice meeting you guys," The girls were saying, trying not to be
awestruck.
"It was nice to meet ya'll too." the guys were saying, trying to act cool for the
ladies.
Just then the 2 limos pulled up for the 2 groups.
"Where are you all stayin?" The guys asked.
"Plaza Hotel" they replied.
"So are we. Wanna get together later?"
"Sure!" The girls answered excitedly.
"Here are our room numbers, give us a call later."
"Ok."
As they drove away, the girls couldn't balieve what had just happened. They
down played how much they liked the other group on the show and were TOTALLY
PSYCHED to be meeting them later. Little did they know that the guys were
doin' the exact same thing in their limo.
Chapter Two
Back at the hotel it was about 2:00pm when the girls got back to the
hotel.They had gone to get something to eat and went shopping and you
know the usual 'girl' stuff. They all bought clothes, shoes, and lots of
other things. When they pulled up in the hotel parking lot, the guys where
standing outside of the lobby talking to one of their body guards. They
saw the girls' limo pull up and then saw them get out. So the guys walked
over to the limo to greet the women.
"Hey, What took ya'll so long?" Justin asked.
"You know the usual girl shopping spree," Brandi said eyeing Justin.
Justin just smiled back at her.
"So, do ya'll gals wanna go for a swim?" Joey asked looking at Chelsea
and the brand new two piece bathing suit she was holding in her hand.
"Sounds good to us," The girl's agreed.
"Well how about we meet you at the pool around back in five minutes?" Joey said.
"Okay see a then" Chelsea and Katy said at the same time..
"Are yall gonna help us get this stuff or what?" Brandi called grabbing
stuff out of the trunk of the limo parked in front of the 'Plaza Hotel'.
"Yeah yeah we're comin" said Katy.
The girls all got their stuff and went up to their hotel rooms. Chelsea, Katy and Brandi were in one room and Kimberly and Cheryl got the other room. The rooms were right across the hall from each other. They all got their bathingsuits on and went to the
pool.
"Hey" Justin said as the girl's entered the pool area.
"Heya cutie" Brandi said with a smile on her face.
"Oh gosh she's already flirting!" Cheryl said, reffering to her cousin Brandi.

Everyone got in the pool.
"Watch!!" Justin yelled from the diving board.
"Who are you trying to impress?" Chris asked as Justin came up outta the
water from doing a 'perfect' dive into the water.
"The girl of my dreams." Justin said, winking at Chris. Chris laughed at
him.
It had been about an hour and they guy's were starting to get to know
the girl's really well.
"Well we better be going. We have a photo shoot in an hour and I
need at least an hour to get ready" Justin said.
"Yeah. We're just going to stay around here and watch TV.." Kimberly said.
"What's yalls room numbers?" Lance asked.
"121 and 123" Katy and Chelsea said at the same time..
"He asked me!" Chelsea said playing around.
"No chick he was talkin' to me" She argued back.
"Chick fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" JC yelled Laughing..They all started laughing.
"Well maybe we'll stop by later sice we are in room number's 125 and
127" Lance said.
"Aiight," Brandi replied,"Talk to yall lata then."
"Lata" Justin said.
"Bye-bye" They all said to each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~ In a meeting B4 the guys photo shoot~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I can't believe you said that on a big TV show like that!" Johnny Wright was
saying to the guys," We have gotten so many comments on how you all are gonna
be joining High Harmonies on a joint charity tour. Not only have they not
asked us, but I haven't even talked to their management about it at all."
"Gee you don't have to flip out," Chris said in his usual lighten up the moment
sorta way.
"We don't know much about the tour, but it really sounds great. We could help a
lot of people" JC points out.
"And we would get to travel with the girls, "Joey says under his breath.
"I heard that" Johnny replies," But touring for 2 months without money and
things like that?"
"We were gonna be off anyway, so we would just not be on vacation" JC points
out.
"All right, I'll get a hold of their management." Johnny finally agrees.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Back at the girls hotel room~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I can't believe the day we've had!" Kimberly says to Cheryl, "We got to be on the
Rosie show and hang out with five hotties."
"Today was awesome. I really liked Chris. He was a hoot and a half" Cheryl commented.
"Yah, I guess he was. I kinda have a thing for JC though. He was really sweet.
Hey Its about time for our meeting with Dana. (the groups manager) We better be
getting to the other room."
They leave to go across the hall.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Who is it?", Brandi called out jokingly, knowing full well it was Kimberly and Cheryl.
"Who do you think?" they replied.
Brandi opened the door.
"Ok now that we are all here lets get started" Dana began," You have photo
shoots and interviews all day tomorrow. Then you have a press conference the
next morning at 7:00 am, then you will be at the Concert arena at noon for the
sound checks, that dinner the radio station is giving out, and the meet'n'greet
and then the concert. Any questions?" *RING RING* Dana's cell phone went off "Hello?"
"Hi. Dana, this is Johnny Wright, N Sync's manager."
"Yes how have you been?"
"Fine thanks. I don't have a lot of time right now, but I was wondering what
the deal is about that benefit tour I've heard about."
"Well, we are still trying to get it off the ground, but it is a 2 month
nonprofit tour that all proceeds go to local charities in the area where we
perform, but we haven't been able to find a second group to co-headline yet."
"Well the guys have an interest in it. We need to get together and talk about
it. Personally, I just think that they wanna tour with those girls you got
there, but they won't hear it."
" Well how does tomorrow at 10:00 sound?"
"Good to me. see ya then."
"Bye"
"What was that all about?" Katy asks
"Well, I think we might have found our co-headlining group for the benefit
tour, but its not final yet."
"Who is it?" they all scramble to inquire.
"N Sync"
"Woh, cool awesome" they all yell.
"Well I need to go take care of some things. Get some rest, you won't have to
much more free time after this weekend," Dana says as she leaves the room.
"Ok mommy!" they all joke.
"Oh my gosh guys!!!"Chelsea yells, "Do you believe what just happened?"
" Oh knock it off, they are just regular people like us, and we don't even know
for sure if they will do it," Katy states.
"Come on. You don't have to be a party pooper," Cheryl replies,"You can't tell
me that your not the least bit happy that you will be on a bus with Lance for
two months. We all saw how you two were eyeing each other all day. "
As ohh and ooohs were heard for everyone.
Katy replies, turning a little red" Well, since you put it that way, I guess
the idea isn't all bad. He was eyeing me too?"
"YES!!!" they all piped up.

All the guys are in Chris, Justin, and Joey's room. Later that night...
" Man that was a long shoot!" JC exclaimed, "I just wanna go to bed."
"Dude all you ever do is wanna go to bed. You hit your peek at 15,"Justain said.
"I wonder if that will be a problem with Kimberly" Chris suggested.
" Ok that's it. I can look over Justin's comment, but your gonna get it."JC started after Chris.
Just then the phone rang, breaking up the mud slinging. (LoL)
"Hello?" Lance said into the receiver.
"Hello lance, its Johnny, I have a meeting with HH management tomorrow about
the benefit concert. Are you guy absolutely sure you want to do it?"
"Hey guys, it's Johnny. He's got a meeting tomorrow and wants to know if we
are sure about the tour with HH."
"Well?"
"I'm for it, me2, me3, count me in!" they each exclaimed.
"Yah Johnny, we're sure"
"OK then. I'll close the deal tomorrow. Night"
" He said that he would close the deal tomorrow." Lance told the rest of the guys.
" Dude awesome. We not only get to help people, but we get to tour with five
fine honies for two months!" Joey remarks, "score!!"
" AHH YAHH" is heard from every guy in the room.
"Hey I know, lets prank the girls. What rooms were they stayin' in again?"
asked Chris........

Chapter 4~~~~~~~~~~ "The Cause ......of Love?"
The guys discussed what they were gonna do to the girls.
"I say let's let rats go in their room," Chris said.
"Ya man how we goin' ta catch 'em?" Joey asked.
"I'll catch 'em," Chris said with an evil grin.
"Woahh.. Yer like not gonna eat em are you?" Joey asked when he saw the look on Chris's face.
"Aww Hell NO!!" Chris said. "See if the girls are scared enough, they'll want to
stay in our rooms WITH US!!"
"Ya man dat sounds good to me!!!" Justin said.
**-----*Meanwhile back in the girls' room*-----**
"So, what do ya'll want to do?" Katy asked.
Everything went quiet while they were thinking of something to do until they heard a lil sneakin' sound.
"WHAT THE?!?!?!" Brandi yelled.
"IT'S A FREGGIN' RAT!!!!!" Chelsea screamed.
As they all jumped up on Chelsea's bed. Then they heard the door open.
"I want Justin!!" Brandi yelled
"We're gonna DIE!!!" Kimberly screamed.
"Not me I'm not old enough," Brandi said since she was the youngest in the group.. Just then she saw Justin poke his head in the door... Laughing as hard as he
could.. Then the other guys followed him in.
"You called sweetheart?" Justin said joking.
"Oh-shut up" "you did this didn't you????" Brandi scolded.
"GOT 'EM!!" They all heard Chris yell from in the bathroom.
"Thank god!" Brandi said letting go of Justin's arm. Justin was still laughing at
the sight of 5 girls jumping up and down on that little bed acting like
complete children.
"That WASN'T funny!" Brandi, Kimberly, Chelsea, and Katy all yelled.
"Well...." Chris interjected.
"SHUT UP!!" everyone yelled at Chris before he could answer.
"Sorry. Ya'll all just looked so..so..helpless" JC said trying not to start
laughing again.
"Oh please, you'll pay for this one!" Kimberly mumbled
to the guys.
"We're soo scared!!" The guys said sarcastically
"You should be," the girls replied. "Now get outta here, we have all kinds of
interviews, and photo shoots to do and to top it all off, we have a concert
tomorrow night."
"Oh that's right,and we won't be able to come to the concert" JC said sounding hurt (playfully).
"Why not??" Brandi asked.
"Because we couldn't get tickets. Yall's concert was totally sold out!!"
Justin, Lance and Joey said at the same time.
"Nonsense, yall can sit backstage" the girls replied.
"Oh cool" They guys joyfully said.
"K..now get outta here!" Chels said.
"G'night" Brandi said to Justin as she kissed him on the cheek. Justin just smiled and walked out the room followed by Joey, JC, Chris and Lance.

***********************CHAPTER 5********************************
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The girls in room 123, (Katy, Brandi and Chelsea's)~~~~
After a long day of interviews and photo shoots, plus the rat incident, the
girls were getting ready for bed.
"Ok. Now what just happened here?" Remarked Katy.
"I don't know, but it was pretty funny. It seems like something I would have
thought of," Cheryl said.
"Yah, and you would've caught rats?"
"Well, maybe not, but it was funny."
"What the heck are you saying? They put RATS in our room!!!!" yelled
Kimberly "It wasn't funny!!!!"
"Ok guys that's enough," said Chelsea,"What was this kiss with Justin, Brandi?"
"It just seemed like the thing to do. He's my hero" Brandi replies dreamily, as
Katy throws a pillow at her.
"Yah sure. whatever. You know, if we end up doing this tour together, it could
be really...um...uhhh..interesting, if you know what I mean," Brandi retorted.
"That's for sure. Lets just hope this is the last of the rats. OOHHUUHHH"
Kimberly shudders." Look we do need to get to bed. We have a very long day
tomorrow."
"Ok Mommy!" they all joke in unison as they head off to get ready for bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the guys in room 125 (Lance, JC, and Justin's room)~~~~~
"That was ssooo funny,"remarked Chris.
"It was, I'm just glad they have a sense of humor. It could have been bad. If
we go on tour together it could be...um..uuhhh..interesting," said Lance
(don't he and Katy sound alike? heehee)
"Hey I have no complaints. I got a kiss from Brandi out of the deal," Justin
bragged, definitely happy with the way it turned out.
"And we get to go to their concert," Joey piped up.
"Ahh yahhh," all the guys all remark, congratulating each other on their job
well done.
"Guys, we need to hit the sack, we've got a busy day tomorrow and we don't
get the time off at night b/c we will be at the concert. I wonder if they will
come to ours?" JC says.
"Party pooper" Chris adds.
"Oh all right Dad. Hey why don't we ask them to come backstage at our concert,
you know.. to repay them for their passes?" Lance replies.
"Stealth, you are pretty sneaky," Joey says.
" I like sneaky!" Chris adds in a devious manner.
" And Cheryl. oooohhhhhhh," all the guys poke fun at him.
" Ok so what if I do. I'm not the only one with a crush on the ladies. I just
wish I got a kiss,"
"Well if you weren't holding that rat......" Justin says," What did you do
with it anyway?"
"It was right here...oh well. It'll show up later."
"Great, just great. Now come on, lets get to bed," JC says.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the next day at the press conference~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(for times sake, I'll just put a Q for the questions that the reporters asked
and an R for their replies)
Q: "So how have you enjoyed NYC so far?"
R: "Its been great!" they all agreed, We've lived here for a while and it's good to have a show here."
Q: "Ok. Now for the good stuff. You were just on Rosie with N Sync. There have
been rumors. Are any of them true?"
R: "What rumors?" They inquired.
Q: "Well, there is the one that you will be doing a tour together, that some of
you are dating, and that there was an unspecified incident in the hotel you
all are staying at."
R: "Oh," the girls all exclaim a little shocked as they were all amazed how fast
news travels. Katy answers, "Well, we will be touring together starting in mid
October for 2 months. It is a special tour. We will do 2 shows in each area
and all of the proceeds will go to charity. The tour will be called "The
Cause." (hence the name of the story, its just love might be in the mix)
Q: "So are any of you dating?"
R: Kimberly answers, "No we just met them. We are just friends," as she thinks
about how she wishes JC and her were dating.
Q: "Are you sure?"
R: " Yes, um hum, yup," all the girl reply at the same time.
Q: "What is this we hear about an incident with a rat or something?"
R: "This is a city. Of course there are rats," Cheryl tactfully replies,
thinking of all the bad press they would get if the truth got out.
"Ok that all," Dana says, " The ladies need to get to the rest of their
schedules."
~~~~~~the guys talking over lunch as the girls rehearse at the arena~~~~~~~~~~~
" Ok guys. Lets just get this all out in the open. We all have a little crush
on HH. Am I right?" JC says matter of factly.
"Yah, yup," the others all reply in unison.
"Well I think that we need to do something special for them. We will be
spending 2 mo with them. But after today we won't see them until our concert
tomorrow night, if they can come, then not again for three months when the
tour starts. We need to leave an impression."
"What did you have in mind Mr. ?omance?" Joey asks.
" Well they are at the arena now but they will come back to their rooms B4
their actual concert. here's what we do...."
~~~~~~~after the rehearsal the girls get back to their rooms~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That was a hard rehearsal," Chelsea remarks.
"Yup!" They all agree.
Once in each of their room, they notice something. Each has one long stem
white rose on each of their pillows, with a note.
Katy goes to her bed to see what it is." Hey Brandi, Its for you"
"This one is for Chels!" Brandi yelps.
"Katy, I believe this one if for you," Chels tells her.
Cheryl and Kimberly notice the same things on their pillows in their room.
"Wonder what this is," Kimberly mumbled.
"Hey its from Justin!!" Brandi shrieked. The note said,"Good luck tonight
Sweetie, from your Hero." (referring to the rat incident)
"Mine is from Lance!" Katy excitedly yelled. "I just wanted to wish you luck
and that I'm looking forward to touring with YOU." As Katy read it allowed she
blushed a bright red. She could be so shy sometimes." That was so sweet!!!
What does yours say Chels?" She asked.
"Can't wait to see your 'secrets', Joey" (the note referred to HH's song
Secrets)
"Ahh yah. He is such a flirt, I like flirts!!!"
"Arg!!!" Katy and Brandi replied together.
Knock Knock
Cheryl and Kimberly come barging in "Look what we got" holding their roses.
"Did yours have notes too?" Brandi asked.
"JC wished me good luck and he hopes that I sing a song for him. He's sssooo
romantic!!" Kimberly said.
"Chris wished me good luck and he hopes that there aren't any rats in our
show.He is so crazy. He makes me laugh." Cheryl giggled.
"I think its official. We now like on the guys we will be spending 2 Whole
Months with," stated Brandi.
"Yah," they all agreed.
"And it looks like they might feel the same way," replied Katy.
"They have crushes on guys?"Cheryl said.
Chelsea smacked her with a pillow" Ha Ha very funny."

Chapter 6
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~backstage before HH's concert~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I wonder where they are?” Brandi said a little worried.
“They'll be here,” Kimberly said matter of factly, she was secretly wondering
the same thing.
Just as the girls finished their vocal and body warm-ups, There was a knock on
the door.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
Katy answered the door and the guys walked in.
“Hey ladies. Sorry we are late,”JC said.
“Yah, Joey had to do his hair!” Chris remarked as he got a smack on the back of
the head.
Just then Dana came in and said they had 5 min. till they were on.
“Sorry we are gonna have to cut this short, but we need to get in place," Katy
said.
“That's ok. we understand.” Lance replied in agreement with the rest of the
guys.
“Dana will show ya’ll where to stay during the show. As soon as its over we
have to leave for the hotel forsafety reasons, but will you all come to Katy, Chels, and I’s room after itsover and you are back at thehotel?” Brandi asked, talking mostly to Justin.
“Of course, anything for you lovely ladies,” they all replied.
Just then Dana came in, running around like a chicken with its head cut off,
hurrying the girls up.
As the girls were rushed onto stage, the guys wished them luck.
During the show, all the girls could think about were the guys, every time they
sang a song that had to dowith love, guess who was on their minds. They loved to perform, but couldn'twait till after the concert.

“ Man those girls are good!” JC remarked.
“Yah they sound awesome,”Lance agreed.
“I'm diggin the way that they move,” Joey exclaimed, a little flabbergasted at
the choreography.
“I can’t believe we are gonna spend 2 monthe with these girls. Luck was
definitely on our side about this one,” JC said.

“ Hey guys, that was a great show. We did a really god job, if I do say so
myself,” Chelsea said.
“We did do good tonight. I guess we had a little, shall we say..inspiration?”
Katy hinted.
“I guess you could say that,” Kimberly replied, ”Wonder when they will get
here?”
“They will be here soon. They're probably giving us a little time to shower
and stuff,” Katy answered.
“Well we were ready 15min ago. Where are they? I wanna see Justin,” Brandi
said.
“Hold your horses, they said that they would be here. Besides, you are gonna
spend 2 mo with him. You don't wanna get tired of each other,” Cheryl said, knowing full well that there was no possible way any of the girls could get tired of these guys, hoping that they felt the same way.
“Oh no we won’t!! We have 3 mo apart before we are together anyway. Oh man, thats sad,” Brandi said gloomily.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
“I'll get it!!” Brandi sang as she ran for the door, “Who is it?”
“The boogie man, who do you think it is, security isn't gonna let to many other people on this floor.” Chris teased.
“Very funny!!” she replied as she opened the door.
“That was a great show!!!” the guys all started to say at the same time.
“Thanks” the girls all answered.
“Glad you liked it,” Kimberly replied.
“So what are we gonna do? I'm gettin bored,” Chris asked.
“You're always bored,” Justin replied.
“I sorta wanted to go check out the hotels game room,” Cheryl said,” There
shouldn’t be to many people there at this hour,” Cheryl said.
Everyone agreed that was a good idea so they all headed down to the game room.

“Wow. We got the place all to our selves!!!!” Chelsea stated, nudging Joey at
the same time.
“Hey, they got video games!!” Chris yelled.
"Look, there's Kung Foo, it's my favorite!” Cheryl yelled.
“I’ll beat ya to it!” Chris called as he started to run.
“Not if I can help it!” she yelled as she ran after him.
“Dude, they got a half court in here. Do you like to play?” Justin asked
Brandi.
“Of course. How bout a little One-on-one?”
“Lets go!!”
“Hey Jc, do you wanna go over to the pool table and play a game with me?”
Kimberly asked.
“Sounds good to me, but I'm warnin’ ya, I’m pretty good.”
“We'll see about that,” Kmiber replied as they left for the table.
“There's an air hockey table,” Joey said.
“I love that game. Wanna play?” Chelsea asked.
“Sure!” Joey answered as he put his arm around her waist and led her to the
table.
“Look over there, it’s on of those old timey juke boxes,” Lance remarked.
“I think those things are so neat. They always have neat songs on em,” Katy
replied.
“Lets go check it out,” answered Lance as he shyly grabbed her hand to lead her
to the juke box.
What will happen to each couple now that they have some time to talk? Will

After about 20 min, just when everybody was getting comforable with each
other, it happened....
The night mamager came in and said that the game room was closing and they
had to leave:( (had ya goin didn't I)
"Ahh man, this stinks," they all mumbled under their breath. But they all headed
back to their floor.
"I'm gonna go to the soda machines," Lance said, "Wanna come with me?" he sasked Katy.
"Sure. Does anyone want anything?" she asked the girls.
" Na," "I'm ok." "Not me," they all replied.
"What about us?" Chris asked, faking a hurt expression.
"You want anythig?" Lance asked.
"No, but thanks for askin'," he joked.
"I'm hungry, I'm gonna go to the candy machine," Chels stated.
"Me to. I'm goin' with ya," Joey stated.

"I had a balst today," Lance said "your concert was really good."
"Thanks. I had a good time too, but that is the 3rd time you've said that you enjoyed the concert in the last 45 min," Katy laughed.
"Oh. Oops. I'm really looking foreward to the tour now. We are gonna have to
step up our show to keep up."
"I dought that." Katy said turning red.
"What? why are you blushing?"
"I was just thinking of the flower you sent. I'm sorry I didn't thank you
sooner, i just.."
"Oh your welcome. Its ok. I know you are shy, but I never know you
turned that red so easily!!"
"Nock it off. I can't help it."
"Sorry," he said as he blushed a little himself, "Are you gonna be able to
come to our concert tomorrow night?"
"I'm not sure. We are supposed to leave at 7:00am, I don't know if we can get
it changed."
"Oh I see" he replied disapointedly.

"Look at those two," Kimberly remarked referring to joey and Chelsea "I don't
think that they could flirt any more. Thats Chels for ya"
"Thats Joey for ya," Jc remarked.
"Ya the U.S. has baseball as its national passtime, Joey has flirting as his," Chris remarked.
"We need ice," said Justin.
"So do we,"Brandi said.
"I'll meet ya at the ice machine."
"Ok."
"Can I see that pic you were telling me about before I go to bed?" Cheryl
asked Chris.
"Sure, its in my room. Come on in," he said with a smile on his face.

The girls are all in room 121 and the guys are in room 125, except Justin, who
decided he wanted a Caramello after all, talking before they go to bed.
"Man I had so much fun today," Brandi said as she got back with the ice and
got a cup of water.
"Ah yah!!" the girls all agreed.
"Justin is so sweet!"
"So is JC. He even let me win at pool!" Kimberly announced.
"Joey is such a flirt. He..well... I can't describe it. He's just so fun!"
Chelsea squeeled.
"I don't think I have ever heard you squeel before. Dude Chris is crazy. He
definately had to be the one to come up with that rat thing," Cheryl said.
"Lance is soooo nice and sweet. He even blushed, just like me!!!"Katy yelped.
"Man I don't think I can take all this yelping and squeeling," Kimberly said. "That is usually Brandi's job," as she got a pillow in the head."Are we gonna be able to go to their concert tomorrow? JC asked me, and he said that everyone was invited."
"Yah, Justin asked me too." Brandi prouldy announced.
"I think we ALL got asked" Katy said, turning a little pink." But we are
supposed to leave at 7:00 am in the morning, and I don't think that is gonna
change."
"Why do we have to leave so early?" Brandi whined
"Uhh, we are in the middle of a tour!! HELLO? is anybody home??" Cheryl
sarcastically asked.
"HA HA" Brandi replied.
"We need to do something for them. We won't see them for three months,"
Kimberly sadly reminded everyone. "But what?"
"Why don't we order them breakfast in the morning and leave our e-mail addys
on a note?" Chelsa suggested. "Its sweet, but not to much."
"That sounds good," Katy agreed.
"Yah, and I could give Chris a rubber rat for breakfast," Cheryl said as they
all started to roll on the floor laughing as they thought of his face when he
lifted the lid off the plate and saw the little creature.
"Come on Cher, lets get to bed. We gotta be up in the morning," Chelsea stated.
Just then they heard the door to the room shut all the way.
"What was that?" Katy asked.
"uuu uhh, I dunno. Lets just get to bed It's 1:30 and I'm beat," Brandi said.
"Ok. No complaints here," they all agreed.
back in the guys room.........
Justin walks in on a friendly game of 'lets see how much soda we can drink before
we burp.'
"Guys you'll never guess what i heard!!!!" Justin yells.
"What?" Joey says/burps.
"That is gross. I was wlakin' by the girls room and since the doors are so
thin I heard them talking"
"Justin, you eavesdropped.... Good boy. Do tell do tell!!!!" Chris yells as he
patted Justin on the head, right before he got smacked up side his head.
"They all like us, I think as much as we like them," He said.
"Dude, All right, Ahh yah," they all unanamiously celebrated.
"I hope they can come tomorrow, well tonight," JC said looking at the clock.
"Yah, me too," Lance replied, "Did they know you were there?" he said to Justin.
"Naa, the door was cracked a little, but they were to buisy laughing to
notince when I left."
"That's good. Come on, lets get to bed I'm beat!" JC said.
"Man you are always beat," Chris said.
Just then they heard somebody running down the hallway.
"Wonder who that was? I thought we were the only ones on this floor," Lance
said.
"Maybe it was a fan running from security or somethin," Justin suggested.
"Yah, but I don't hear any security." Oh well, guess it was nothing."
"Night!!" They all said to each other.

The guys are awakened to the room service nocking on the door to bring them b-
fast
"Man what the..." Justin was saying as he got up to get the door, "We didn't
order room service.
Joey got his door at the same time. The deliverer said itwas from rooms 121 and 123. The guys thanked her and took the food inside.Each one had a note saying how sorry the girls were for not being able to go to their concet, but wished them luck and left their addy and cell phone and pager numbers. Each one had also
left a "till next time kiss" on the card.(you know, they put on lipstick and kissed the message) How sweet.

The guys were all a little disappointed that the girls had to leave before
their concert, but at the same time they were very happy that the girls had
sent them breakfast. They also loved the kiss on the notes.
"I wonder what they ordered for us," Joey said, "I'm starved."
He opened his plate to find a huge stack of pancakes.
"Hey that looks good. I wonder what I get," Chris said as he opened his plate.
"AAAHHHHH What the......." he yelled as Joey started to laugh so hard he
nearly choked on a bite of his pancakes."I got a friekin rat. a rubber rat. This is NOT what I call a balanced breakfast."
"Oh lighten up. Cheryl got you back good. REAL good"
At the sound of Chris's scream, the other 3 ran to see what was goin on. Joey
let them in at their knock
"What the heck?" Asked Justin.
"Cheryl got Chris back. She gave him a rat for breakfast" Joey proudly
announced as Chris held it up by the tail, swinging it around. The rest of the
guys laughed for at least a minute straight before they had to go get ready
for their busy day.

"I wonder if Chris has gotten his breakfast by now?" Cheryl asked.
"I don't know, but I wish I could see his face when he does," Brandi replied as
she gave her a high five.
Just then Jake, the head of their security, came up to the girls." I really
hate to have to ask you girls this but, did you hear or see anything strange
last night?"
"Strange how?" Katy asked.
"Just... anything out of the ordinary"
"Well, the door was cracked a little and it shut on its own," Kimberly told
him.
"Are you sure it was on its own?"
"Well unless it was one of the guys, weren't we the only ones on the floor?"
"You were supposed to be, it wasn't the guys though. We had tabs on them"
"Then I guess it was the boogie man," Chels eerily joked as they giggled
"No, I'm afraid it wasn't," Jake said.
"Jake your scaring me. What's going on here?" Katy nervously asked.
"Well, it is time we tell you. There have been some threats against you.
Nothing bad yet, but it is getting worse, and we had reason to believe that
whoever is behind it was in your hotel last night."
"Do you know who it is?" Brandi asked
"No. Not yet."
"What kind of threats?" Kimberly asked.
"You don't need to know all the specifics."
"What do you mean we don't need to know all the specifics!!!" Katy yelled.
"It is our lives and safety in the balance here," Chelsea threw in.
"We have a right to know!!!!" Cheryl demanded.
"Calm down. Like I said there hasn't been anything serious yet." Jake
answered. "There have just been strange phone calls and letters in the mail.
But last night there was a hand delivered note in front of Dana's hotel door.
We are gonna make security a little tighter, don't worry. I won't let anything
happen to you. Just help us out by being extra careful. Ok?"
"Alright. Whatever you need us to do," the girl acknowledged. They were all now
very close to being terrified and definitely scared.

They were in their morning briefing with their manager.
"Ok you guys got today's schedule?" Johnny said.
"Yah, Ok, Sure," they all replied.
"Now there is one more thing, Bubba?" he asked the head of security to come
over to talk to the guys.
"Did you guys notice anything strange last night?" He asked.
"No, just a rat on my plate this morning," Chris answered as the guys
snickered.Bubba just looked a little confused.
"Don't ask," Lance told him.
"Seriously guys. You didn't notice anything?" He asked again.
"Well, there was some fan or something running down the hall last night." JC
answered "You must have been hot on her trail. Why?"
"Well, there have been some phone calls and mail sent to the girls, but last
night it was hand delivered."
"So they have some persistent fans, what's the deal?" Justin asked, a little
curious at the serious look on Bubba's face.
"Well, these messages have been threatening, and to some personal numbers and
rooms of crew members, but last night it was hand delivered to the girls room but they are gonna be told it was in front of Dana's.Luckily we noticed it before they did. It would have scared them to death.Don't mention it to them, their security doesn't want them to know how bad it is, so they aren't telling them the whole story. Just let them mention it to you."
"Whoa. I had NO idea," JC replied wondering if Kimber knew yet.
"Yah, I feel so bad for them." Lance said, thinking of Katy.
"What is gonna be done about it?" Joey asked concerned, mostly about Chelsea.
"There is gonna be increased security, but until more is known, not much else
can be done."
"Who would send them threatening notes and stuff," Justin wondered out loud.
Trying to figure out how anyone could not like Brandi.
"Yah, who would want to do something like that?" Chris said a little irritated at the idea of someone trying to hurt Cheryl.
"Well, either an obsessed fan, or someone from one of their pasts, or someone
jealous of their success and life," Bubba replied.
"Whoa this is just to much." Justin gast.
"I hope they are taking it ok," Lance said.
"Yah, we all do," JC replied, speaking for everyone.

Over the next three months, the guys and girls kept in touch by a few phone
calls and mostly e mails. Well, as much as possible. The girls couldn't be
online much b/c the threats got worse and started on the net as well as the
notes and eventually the phone, so security had to limit their access. They
were all becoming really good friends and looking forward to their tour. But
the threats were getting worse. Security wouldn't tell the girls everything,
but they knew it was bad. They weren't allowed out of their hotel room to go
to the soda machines without at least one guard keeping an eye on them, much
less shopping or anything in public. They couldn't even go to their old houses
when they had a concert in their home town. The families had to come to the
hotels, where a better eye could be kept on them. All this was taking its
toll. The girls were really scared.
The guys could tell this from the letters they received from them. The guys
were looking forward to the tour, not only to be able to see the girls again,
but to be able to help look out for them. They hated to see the girls scared to
find a note every time they opened the door, or got a e mail, or get a phone
call that just hangs up.
~~~~~~~~the tour begins in LA California they dub it "The Cause"~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The guys had their last concert of their tour in LA so they were already
there. The girls flight got in late the night before. They are getting ready
for the first time to see each other in three months.
"Get up guys, its six thirty!!!" Joey yells at everybody, a little to happily
for 6:30 am, "Come on. We finally get to see the girls again. GET UP!!!"
"All right!!!!!, I'm up!!!!!, Just 5 more min Ma!!!, ARG!!" they all reply.
"Aren't you guys a little excited to be starting a new tour? It is for a good
cause."
"Ahh, knock it off, you just wanna spend 2 months with Chels," Justin stated.
"So.. your point? It's a bonus. And your not happy to spend 2 mo with
Brandi?"
"Ok. All right. I gettin' up."
"Should we do something nice for the girls? It has been 3 months," Lance asked.
"Truthfully, with everything that's goin on, I think just not leaving a nasty
message somewhere is gonna make a better impression that anything," JC said.
"Good point." Lance replied, finding it hard to comprehend everything that
had happened to the girls.
"You mean a rat is a bad idea?" Chris asked, a little disappointed.
"YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" they all yelled.
"Fine all right, But I get the shower first!!!!!!" he said as he ran for the
bathroom.

"ARG. I can't believe its time to get up already. It seems like we just got
here," Kimberly said.
"We did. Our plane landed 5 hours age and it was a 2 hour drive to the
hotel," Katy said.
"Oh yah"
"Oh, come on ladies, we finally get to see the guys again today!! Come on,
lets go!!! I get the shower first!!!" Brandi yelled as she sprang out of bed.
"Not if I can help it!!" Cheryl answered as she sprinted to beat her to the
bathroom.

Chapter 9

Cheryl got to the shower first but there wasn't any hot water "What the
Hell happened to the hot water?????" Cheryl yelled from the bathroom.
"I dunno!!" Brandi said with an innocent look on her face.
"Well I guess you can take a shower then if you want to" Cheryl said to Brandi. "Okay," Brandi said, "hmm what should I wear??"
"How about them new flair jeans you just got and that sleeveless white shirt??"
"Oh yeah I forgot bout that shirt.." Brandi said pulling stuff outta her suitcase.
"So what should I wear?"
"This shirt and this pair of jeans," Brandi said handing Cheryl the clothes she had picked out for her.
"Ok."
Kimberly finally got out of the bed saying, "I want my mommy."
"WHAT??" Katy yelled
"Your mommy?" Brandi yelled from the bathroom.
They all started laughing.
"Yeah, my mommy she always lets me sleep in, not like yall mean people!" Kimberly said trying to look serious.. But couldn't keep a straight face. She
started busting out laughing..
Brandi got in the shower and about 10 minutes later she walked out of the bathroom with her hair wrapped in a towel.
"How was your cold shower?" Cheryl asked.
"It wasn't cold," Brandi said with an evil grin.
"What?"
"All you had to do was turn the water off on the sink," Brandi said laughing "and anyway how did you already take a shower?"
"I went to Katy and the others room."
"Oh!!"
All the girls were ready.
**KNOCK KNOCK**
Brandi had the radio up so loud she didn't hear anyone knocking on the
door.
"GET THE DOOR!!!!" Kimberly yelled.
"No-one knocked, *duh*" Brandi said.
"Yes they did, you just cant hear it over that loud music!!"
"Oh hush and put on your make up!"
Just then someone walked up behind Brandi and covered her eyes. Brandi screamed "Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!"
"WHAT IS IT!!!!!!??????" Kimberly yelled walking out of the bathroom. She saw
Justin behind Brandi with his hands covering her eyes. Justin took one
hand off of Brandi's eyes and put one finger up to his lips to motion
for Kimberly not to say anything.. Brandi just sat there waiting for
Kimberly to do something
"Hello call the police or something!!" Brandi yelled at Kimberly.
"Calm down," Justin said as he sat down beside Brandi.
"Damn you scared me!" Brandi said as she hugged Justin. The rest of the
guys came in.
"Where's Katy? Cheryl? Chelsea?" They all asked......

"Gee, it's nice to see you guys too"Cheryl said at JC, Joey and Lances question to
where then others were.
"Cheryl!!!!!" Chris yelled as he ran to hug her, "See guys, I know how to greet
a lady."
"HaHa," they all jokingly laughed.
"At least this time you don't have a rat," Cheryl joked after enjoying her hug
as much as Chris.
Just then the rest of the girls came in the door, surprised to see the guys.
They weren't supposed to meet up till the big meeting in the board room of the
hotel to discus the tour that would start in exactly one week from that day.
They all ran and hugged each other, VERY happy to b together again. (remember
they had gotten close over the 3 mo corresponding:))
* knock knock *
The girls jumped a little at this, not expecting it. The guys all noticed how
jittery they were, but who could blame them.
"Ladies, its time to go to the meeting. Oh, hi guys!" Jake came in and said.
"Hi!" the guys replied.
"Lets go," Katy said.
"Do you always have to have an escort, even in the hotel?" Lance asked her a
little shocked. He knew that their security was tight, but this?
"Yup," She answered. He grabbed her hand, as to let her know that he was there
for her now.
All the guys heard this and were shocked at how bad it had gotten, and were
really concerned.

"Well glad to see everyone so cheery," Dana joked at the girls. (remember they
only had a few hours sleep)"Both management and security teams have discussed things and here is how it is gonna work," she began as they all took their seats.
"You all have this week for promos. But you will be working on a few joint
numbers during your rehearsals this week. Now for the format. You will spend 2
days in each city. One day you will do a small hall for high paying patrons,
the next you will do a large arena with normal priced tickets. Including souvenir
sales, all the proceeds that we make over budget will go to charity. The tour
is scheduled for 2 months. It will end right before Christmas, but if it is
successful, it might be extended for another month with half of the proceeds
going to charity. Now about the security issue. As you guys saw this morning,
it has to be really tight. To make matters easier, you will be on the same
bus, as well as have room next to each other all the time." (little did she
know that all ten of them were trying their best not to jump out of their skin
with joy at that comment."Security will stay the same as it is with the
girls, but there will be an increase in what you guys are used to. If the
threats go to both groups, we might have to revaluate some things though. We
have a week here. There is a rehearsal room in the hotel so we will be here for
a week, do the two shows, and start off. As for the management, I will be
touring with you and Johnny will be handling the corporate end of things. And
for today we will have meetings with stylists and discuss what will be done
for publicity interviews and all that stuff. We have meetings till 9:00
tonight any questions?"
" Yah, do we get any time to eat? I want my Apple Jacks!!" Justin said to break
the tension. It worked they were all laughing.

After the meeting, everyone gathered by the cart. Justin reached for his Apple
Jacks. As he poured it, a note fell out and he read it.
"Justin you ok? Your lookin' a little pale. What did the apple loose its
jacks?" Brandi said trying to be funny.
"No. A note was in my cereal box."
"What did it say?"
Justin read the note out loud so everyone could hear (including the security)

The room was silent. Just then, Cheryl ran out of the room. Chris followed her.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"No!" she replied as she started to cry "I'm so scared of this, this, stalker."
She could barely get the words out of her trembling lips.
"Shhh, its ok."
"No, it's not. I love my job and I really want to do this tour, but I'm so
scared."
"It'l be all right. I won't let anything happen to you." He caressed her cheek
as he looked into her eyes. He was shocked at how amazing they were, with their
hazel middle and green/gray rims even though they were tear filled. He then
bent down and kissed her lips ever so softly. Then he embraced her with a hug
that made her feel safe for the first time in months.

"Let me have that." Jake said, very concerned." This is to much. Group members
are starting to find things, in their breakfast no less. This is getting to
close. I think we need to get a detective in on this. I'm gonna go make a few
calls."
"You ok Justin?" Brandi asked noticing he was still a little pale.
"Yah. I'm aight,'" he said,not to convincingly.
"You guys seem to be handling this pretty well," Joey remarked.
"Yah well, you get used to it," Chels answered.
The guys were really concerned at this remark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~That night after the interviews in the girls room~~~~~~~~~~~~
( they had 3 rooms, one with beds on either side of a sitting room, just like
the guys that was right across the hall from theirs)
"I am soo tired," Kimber said.
"Me to, this day was long, right from the get go." Katy replied referring to
the cereal incident
"I felt so bad for Justin, I've never seen him that pale," Brandi said.
"Cheryl, are you ok? What happened with you and Chris when you ran out?" Chels
asked.
"It just got to me, I needed some space. As for me and Chris, well, he

Justin answered.
"Well the girls seem to be taking it in stride," Lanced remarked.
"But it is taking its toll," Chris answered, serious for the first time in a
while, the guys could tell that something had happened with Cheryl and him,
but weren't gonna ask.
"Come on this is gonna be a busy week, lets just move on and get some sleep,"
JC said as they all headed off to bed.

There weren't any incidents with the stalker who was commonly referred to as
"the psycho" over the next six days. But this was the day of the first joint
concert, and anything is possible in love and war (ok its not an exact quote,
but it works)

"Rise and shine sleepy heads!!" Brandi yelled, all to perky.
"Just five more minutes ma!!" Kimber yelled.( de ja vouz huh?)
"Nope. Up and at em! We've got our first concert of the tour tonight, plus we
gotta go to all those interview things."
"All right! We're up, just stop bein' so darned perky this early. Its
nauseating," Cheryl exclaimed, a little repulsed.

The day had gone by relatively uneventful. They were all backstage getting
ready for their concert when the girls noticed something.....
"What is this?" Katy asked, a little hesitant to get to close to the thing on
their counter.
"White roses!!" She yelled when she realized what it was. The rest of the
girls all ran over. Katy picked up the note. "I can't open it."
"Here, give it to me," Chelsea said bravely, but not to convincing.
She read aloud:
"We gave you flowers to wish you luck the first time we saw
you perform, heres to another great performance (without rats) Good Luck,
love JC Joey Lance Justin and Chris (the rat part was for you Cher.)"
"Oh my, I'm gonna cry," Katy said just then the guys walked in.
"Cry about what?" Lance asked concerned.
"The flowers."
"Thanks!" the girls all replied.
"Your welcome" the guys all responded, with a peck on the cheek.
*nock nock*
"Five minutes!" Dana poked her head in and yelled.
"We need to get goin. We are on first." Kimberly said. As the girls left the
dressing room Chris stopped Cheryl.
"Thanks for hoping there wouldn't be any rats" Cheryl said, unsure of what
was about to happen.
"No problem. You gonna be ok for the concert?" Chris asked, thinking of how
scared she was in the hall earlier that week.
"As long as I know you are close by." She replied looking into his eyes that
were the deepest shade of brown she could have imagined and kissed him. Then
she turned to leave to go perform.

The guys were in the girls room. They were looking through the stuffed animals
that were thrown on stage during the show.
"Here is a bag addressed to the girls," Joey said with a little smirk on his
face.
"Oooooooooooh!" the guys all teased as Katy opened it.
"AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed as she threw the bag down and started to cry.
"What is it?" they all asked, having a pretty good idea that it was from the psycho.
"Just look for yourself!" she replied, as she got up and subconsciously ran
straight to Lance. He was more then happy to be able to comfort her. He just
held her. She finally felt a little at piece in his strong arms. Chris, who was sitting by Cheryl, held her hand tightly as Joey got up and looked in the bag.
"It is a stuffed dog, covered in blood!" He replied as he pulled out a note,
disgusted and scared.
"Shouldn't we get Jake?" JC asked.
"Yah, I'll call for him," Kimberly replied as she got up to use the phone.

"I wanna go home," Cheryl whined.
"I'm to young to die," Brandi said.
"Your not going to die.." Justin assured her, "I'll be here for ya,"
Justin said smiling.
"I wanna know who this stalker person is," Chris said, "He/she deserves a
beat down!"
"I'm going to bed,"Brandi said standing up and stretching.
"Sure ya want to?"Joey asked.
"HaHa," Brandi replied. "We have to get some sleep we have an interview
in the morning."
"Maybe we should all sleep right here," Kimber said.
"SLEEPOVER!!!!" Chelsea yelled.
"Okay," everyone agreed.

"Another note?" Chelsea asked a little disturbed. Joey grabbed her hand and
gave it a squeeze.
"Yah," Lance said while shaking his head and rubbing the back of his neck.
"What is the matter? You look like this one was important," Katy said, reading
Lance like a book.
"Well, The reason I woke up was because we heard something hit the door, hard.
I looked over and Lance was up and heard it too. So we decided to get up and
see what it was," Brandi replied. Her lip began to quiver and Justin went to
her and put his strong, safe arm around her waist. Lance took over the
explanation.
"When we opened the door we found another note attached to the door," he
sighed as he spoke, "with a knife."The room was silent, except for the girls' sniffles from crying."Then we left to go get Jake and Dana. You know the rest."
"What did the note say?" JC asked, a little hesitantly, holding on to Kimberly
a little tighter.

"My God" Cheryl gasped. In total shock that someone was doing this to them,
and now to their friends, especially Chris. She liked him a lot and wouldn't
want anything to happen the him because of her.
Everyone just looked around the room, stunned that the "psycho" had gotten past
security to their door, of the 1 room that they were all in.
"So what are we supposed to do?" Chelsea asked, wanting to run and hide under
the bed like she used to do during a thunderstorm when she was a little girl.
Just them, Joey grabbed her hand and she felt a little better.
"Just go on with our lives and be really careful," Katy answered.
"I guess your right," Chelsea said, unsure of her of her agreement with that
statement.
"In that case, we have an interview in an hour and then the sound check, so
we better get ready," Brandi suggested.
They all went to go get ready. Before he left, Chris gave Cheryl a kiss on the
cheek. She was happy about that one.

Over the next few days, the "Psycho" left them alone so they began to relax and

Chapter 14
After their concert in Columbus Ohio, on the bus to Louisville KY
"That was really good show tonight," JC announced,
"Yah, it just seemed to click for all of us," Chels agreed.
"I think it is because we have 'relaxed' a little these last few days," Brandi
said, referring to the fact the psycho hadn't done anything the last 2
cities they had been at.
"Yah!" they all answered with wide eyes.
"Hey Lance, are we goin to Lexington after Louisville?" Katy asked.
"Yah," Lance replied a little curiously.
"Doesn't the rest of your family live there?" Cheryl asked while she sat in
Chris's arms on the small couch of the bus.
"Yuppers. They live about an hour from Lexington in a REALLY small town. I
hope I can see them," Katy answered.
"Are they coming to the concert?" Cheryl inquired.
"I sent them tickets and back stage passes, but I haven't had a chance to talk to them with all this stuff going on."
"I know what ya mean," Cheryl said, remembering how she missed her family.
"Well, come on guys I'm beat. Lets get some zzzz's!!" JC suggested.
"Your always ready to sleep!!" Kimber joked.
He whispered in her ear," That's because your usually in my dreams,"
as she astarted blushing at his surprising comment the others started in with
joking "oohhhhh, aawwwww, and get a rooms!!"
"Your one to talk," JC jokingly snapped at Chris.
"Ok bed time!" He quickly replied with a smile.
They all headed to their bunks for some zzz's before they got to the hotel in
Louisville.

"I know things have been a little hectic, but there is gonna be a break. There
is construction at the small hall in Lexington, so you will have a a choice,
the whole day off with extra interviews the next day, or all the interviews
that day and 2 light days. So what will it be? Dana asked.
"I say a whole day off!" Brandi screamed.
"Me 2" Kimber and Chels chimed in.
"Sounds strange, a whole day off, I like it though," Chris piped up.
"So does everyone agree?" Dana asked.
"Yup!" they all answered.
"Well that settles it, you'll have a day off!" Dana announced, " Your fans are
gonna be disappointed that the construction is goin on, but they'll get over
it. I get to see you all everyday, so I don't have to fret," she added.
Everyone smiled and thanked her, but were a little thrown by this comment. The
guys wondered if she liked one of them or something. Oh well.
"Now for today and tomorrow, its just gonna be the same old grind. yall know
the drill, press, sound check, concert, hotel."
"We know," they all replied a little more enthusiastically now that they knew
that had a day off coming

During that day, they were all a little perkier than usual, flirting and
carrying on. Chris and Cheryl got caught playing "hockey" 5 times. (you know
what I mean) Chelsea was totally happy with how flirtatious Joey was. Most
girls thought he came on a little strong, but she LIKED it, She especially had
fun when she could tickle his go-tee. JC even seemed to be a little
less serious today, which was a pleasant change, esp. for Kimberly, she got to
know him a lot better.

"You know, I really got to know Kimber better today than I have almost all
tour." JC said to the guys. (they were sharing a suit across the hall from
the girls' suit)

remarked, "finally, somebody that like to flirt as much as I do."
"I didn't think that was possible!" Chris joked.
"I didn't think it was possible to play that much 'hockey' in a concert hall!" He joked.
"Well it is!!" Chris said with a smirk on his face, "and its really fun too!"
he added.
"You two are really hitting it off huh?" Justin asked.
"Yah, Cheryl is great. What bout you and Brandi?"
"We talk and joke a lot, but she can be hard to read. I like he a lot, but I
have no idea what to do. Hey Lance, What about you and Katy? Justin asked.
"Well," he started to say as he turned a little red, "I like her a LOT but..."
"But what?" JC asked.
"I don't know," he answered.
"Don't know what?"
"I like her and I think she likes me, and truthfully, I would REALLY like to
sorta make things official, but I want to do it in a special way." Lance
finally said.
"You really like her huh?" Joey asked.
"Yah, I do. I even think that the schedule thing would work its self out after
the tour, but I just don't know."
"Well, you never know till you try," Justin said. "That sounds really cheesy ya
know?"
"It does, but I guess your right,"Lance replied.
Yah Justin, your starting to sound like JC!" Chris joked.
"Haha." Justin answered as he hit Chris in the head.
"Lets do something for them on our day off." JC suggested, ignoring Chris's
comment.
"What?" Joey asked.
"I got it!" Lance exclaimed.

After the concert the next night, they headed for Lexington and their day off.
The girls were just getting their showers and ready for the day. (they were so
used to getting up early for work they couldn't sleep in, don't ya hate it
when that happens, oh well)
"Man, I wish I could sleep in. I hate getting up in the morning." Kimber said,
not being a morning person.
"I know what ya mean," Katy replied, as she finished brushing her long blond hair.
"Aren't you excited about having a day off? Brandi said jumping around the
room already dressed and ready with to much energy for 7:30 am.
"I know I am. I hope I get to spend it with Chris. We never really set anything." She
stated, finishing putting her eye shadow on her hazel eyes.
KNOCK KNOCK
"I'll get it!!" Brandi sang as she leapt like a ballerina towards the door while
everyone rolled their eyes at her hyper mood.
When she opened the door she was shocked to see the guys standing there
with white jackets and chefs hats on.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" she laughed hysterically.
"What on earth?" Katy asked opening the door all the way. She started to laugh
as Lance said "breakfast for room 432" in his deep southern voice.
"What's all this?" Kimberly asked as the guys each brought a tray of toast and
fruit and a single rose in for the girls, wearing the chefs outfits, (they were
really cute).
"This is supposed to be your b-fast in bed, but ya'll are already up, so I guess it's
just breakfast," Joey answered.
"Did you all cook?" Cheryl asked, a little scared at the answer.
"No, we ordered from room service" Chris replied, giving her a kiss on the
cheek.
"Why? We can cook, besides, its just toast!" Justin asked.
"Yah, sure you can sweetie." Brandi agreed a little sarcastically patting his
cheek.
Just then the phone rang.
**RING RING**
Chels was closest to the phone so she answered. "Hello?"
"Yah, hold on"...."Katy, its for you!"
"Ok. hello?" Katy spoke into the phone.
"Oh HI!!!!, ok. I'll try, can the oth... (she was interrupted) ok grandma. Ten,
plus somebody guards so, 13. You sure?..ok. All right, love ya too. by!!"
"What was that all about?" Everyone was curious.
"That was my Grandma. Remember how I said she lives pretty close, well if its ok
with you guys, she'd like to meet everyone. Besides, she lives in a small town
and her house is pretty secluded, so we could have some fun without any worries.I-"
she was interrupted by Joey,"If she can cook as good as my G-ma, I'm in."
"Can you not think with your stomach for one minute?" JC asked.
"Yah, but then I'd think with my-"
"HEART!" Justin interrupted.
"Yah, that's it.!!" Chris joked as Chels turned a little pink.
"Yes, she is a very good cook.Well?" Katy asked.
"Sounds good to me, fine. cool. aw yah!" they all replied.
"Bring your swim suits!!, she's got a pool, oh and a huge back yard."Katy
excitedly answered.
Each guy gave their girl a kiss good bye. Although Justin and Lance just
gave Brandi and Katy one on the cheek.

In the girls hotel room after the guys left.
"This was sooo sweet of them" Katy said after the door was shut.
"I know, and didn't Justin look adorable in the chefs thingy?" Brandi added.
"They all looked pretty cute in those things," Chels said thinking of Joey
with his hat on crooked.
** knock knock **
Chels answered the door, it was Jake.
"So what's this I hear about a road trip?" Jake asked.
They all looked at Katy.
"Well" she started," My Grandma called and she wanted to see me and meet
everyone. She lives about an hour away, so we decided that it would be fun to go
visit."
"I hate to be a party pooper, but what about the psycho?"
"Well, nobody knows where we will be, besides, we will take some of you guys
with us, its a really small town and its safe, she's a good cook, what do ya
say?" She asked giving him her best puppy face.
"Oh all right. But I won't be able to get a hold of Dana to let her know for a
while, think she'll mind?"Jake asked.
" No, I think she will cool with it," Katy answered.
Jake left the girls so he could go get a rental van from the car lot across
the street, the tour bus was just a little obvious.

"So is there anything else to do at your grandma's besides swim? Kimberly
asked.
"Well, she has a big backyard, fire pit (for campfires oohhh) basket ball
hoop, and there is a state park about 15 min away that has mini golf, go
carts, water slides, nature trails and historic stuff. Oh yah, and horse
trails," Katy stated, looking towards Lance at the end with a smile "After all,
what is a trip to Kentucky w/o seeing a few horses."
"Sounds like fun!!!!" they all sorta piped up and agreed.
They all had their own little conversations on the way there. Cheryl and
Chris held hands the whole time, and Joey and JC had theirs arms around Chels
and Kimber. Justin and Lance were unsure of what to do, so Brandi being the
strong minded person she is grabbed Justin's hand about half way there, Katy on
the other hand, was just to darn shy to make the first move, even though they
had known each other for 4 1/2 months, touring together for 1 of them, she
didn't know why she had all of a sudden become so shy, but it happened and she
just couldn't stop it.

"Here we are!!" Katy yelled as the van pulled up the hill that the house was.
"Wow, this is a beautiful house," they were all exclaiming.
It was brick with blue trim and 2 sets of stair leading to the front porch.
Before they got out Jake, Tim, and Dan told them to stay inside till they got
a chance to check everything out. Katy lead them all up to the front door and knocked before she opened the door.
"Hello? Anybody home?"Katy Yelled into the air as she went in.
"Here's a note," Cheryl said as she gave it to Katy.
"Gone to town. Will be back at 2 with lunch. I'll cook a big dinner for ya.
Love Mamzie." (Mamzie = Grandma)
Just then Jake came back in "Well, everything seems to be ok. You all can do
what you like."
"How about that park you mentioned earlier?" Kimber suggested.
She got an enthusiastic reaction from everyone. So they left a note and left
for the park.

"Here is a map of the park and a list of things to do," Katy said returning
from the main office.
"Hey, lets go to the mini golf course," Chris happily suggested to Cheryl.
"Ok fine by me!" She replied.
"Wanna go to the water slide?" Joey asked Chels, really eager to see here
in a swim suit.
"That's cool." She answered, wanting the same thing. (well, him in his trunks, she had already seen herself in a swim suit, heehee)
"I bet I can drive a go cart faster than you!" Brandi teased Justin.
"Oh no you can't!" he argued.
"Well, lets just see about that!"
"Ok. your on!" So Brandi and Justin decided to go to the go carts.
"You wanna go check out the nature trails?"JC asked Kimber, grabbing her hand.
"Sure!" she answered beeming a smile at him.
Lance and Katy just looked at each other and at the same time said "Horses"
"Ok. guys, be back here at at 1:15 so we aren't late getting back for
lunch."Katy announced
"Ok Mom!!!" They all jokingly yelled before they each went their own ways.

As Chels came out of the ladies changing area, Joey couldn't help but notice
how good she looked, with her blond hair shimmering in the sun and her green
eyes sparkling.
"Wow!" Joey exclaimed to her.
"Thanks. Your pretty WOW yourself!" she said laughingly, noticing the
Superman trunks, She gave him a kiss on the lips before shoving him in the
pool.
"Another hole in one!!!" Cheryl yelled as she finished the 9th obstacle, 2
under par.
"Just beginners luck!! Chris yelled"I'm better at the back nine anyway."
"I gotta ask you something," Cheryl said, getting a little more serious.
"What?"
"Do Justin and Lance like Brandi and Katy?" She asked.
"Huh? Where is this coming from?"Chris replied.
"Well, I know they like them, but Brandi and Katy are confused about what to
do."
"Well, I know Justin will make his move some time, He's just waitin for the
right time, as for Lance, I know he really likes Katy a lot."
"I know. should we help them out a little?" She suggested.
"Maybe, what you got in mind?...." he said, looking at her devious smile.
Chapter 17

"Isn't this view beautiful?" Kimber asked JC.
"It is really gorgeous, but it doesn't compare to you," He replied, rubbing her
soft cheek with his hand as she blushed at his compliment. They turned to face each other. JC put one of his strong arms around her waist, the other pushing her brown hair out of her eyes and holding her delicate face. Kimberly's light brown eyes met his deep blue ones as she ran her fingers through the back of his hair. Just then their lips met. Lightly at first, just like the breeze, but then with more passion. He lightly ran his
tongue along her lower lip as she opened her mouth a little. He slid his tongue inside and memorized the inside of her mouth.
"Hey wait up!! Lance yelled out to Katy, who was ahead of him on the trail.
"Oh all right slow poke!!" She replied as she slowed to let him catch up.
"Your a pretty good rider."
"Thanks. My uncle used to bring me here all the time to ride the horses. There
is a little creek up ahead, we should stop and let the horses get a drink."
"Ok, they look like they could use one," he said.
They get off the horses and tie them to a branch near the water so the horses could get a drink and go stand by a tree that is close by.
"Wow the weather is beautiful around here," Lance remarked.
"Yes, it is, I love it here in this season," Katy answered as they look around
them.
"I can see why...i's beautiful, just like you" He said, looking at her as he
finished.
"Uhh...umm." Katy was speechless as she turned a little pink in color.
"Katy I like you...I like you a lot," He said as he grabbed her hand.
"I like you a lot too Lance."
"In fact to be perfectly honest, I've been thinking about you a lot lately,
especially those 3 months before the tour, I really missed you a lot," He confessed.
"I've been thinking about you a lot lately too, but I was never sure what to
make of it because I never knew if you felt the same way abo.." as she
gets interrupted by Lance.
"But I DO!" he says as his sea green eyes meet her bright blue ones. He grabs
her other hand and begins to lean closer to her, his heart racing just as fast
as hers, just as his lips are millimeters from hers they hear a voice:
"How do you fine folks like this beautiful day?" They looked up to see a park ranger
stand a just up the hill. They just turned red and started to chat with him.

They all met at the entrance to the park and left to back the G-Ma's house.
Once they got there, she came running out to see Katy and her friends.
"Katy!! Its good to see you!!" She yelled as she hugged her granddaughter.
"I missed you to Mamzie!!"
Katy did the introductions once they were inside. G-ma fixed lunch for
everyone, it was good, everyone enjoyed a home cooked meal for a change, especially
Joey and his stomach.
"What are you guys gonna do now that lunch is over?" Mamzie asked "You gonna
go play soccer in the yard like you used to when you'd come up here?"
"Is that ok with everybody?" Katy asked.
"Sure!!" They all agreed as Katy led them out he door.
They were playing girls against guys, at the moment the girls were winning.
"Another point for us!!" Brandi yelled as she kicked the ball past Chris.
"I think we need a new goalie," Joey suggested.
"How bout you?" Chris asked.
"Ok. Fine with me," He replied as they traded places.
"Would somebody just block their shots!!!"Justin yelled.
"Aw, are you sore for getting beaten by a girl twice in one day?"Brandi teased.
"What?!?" They all exclaimed curiously.
"I thought you said that you won your all race today?" Kimberly asked.
"Well,, no, not exactly," Justin replied looking down running his hands through
his curls.
"Yah, I beat him by 8 seconds!!" Brandi yelled as she received the next
kickoff.
This made Justin want to get the ball from her all the more, so he went for
it, and in the process, knocked her down and fell on top of her.
"Opps, sorry!" Justin remarked, a little to sarcastically, not getting off of
her.
"Owie, that hurt. Your gonna pay" She said, trying to squirm her way out from
under him, but not being successful.
Justin looked into her eyes as she quit squirming, returning his gaze, he
leaned over and kissed her on the lips.
"Huh hum!" Katy interrupted them, "Uh, my Grandma can see you two out the window from here, do you mind?"
"Oh sorry," they said as Justin helped her up.
"Was that payment enough?" Justin asked Brandi in her ear.
"For now," she replied with a sly grin on her face.
Just then, Chris yelled "NOW" after he did that, the guys picked the girls up
and headed towards the pool. They tried to throw them in, but with their
momentum from running, they each fell in too.
"Man this water is freezing!!" Jc yelled as he jumped back out of the pool
with the others close behind.
"What is going on here?" Katy's grandma asked in her stern voice as she came
out of the house to see what the commotion was about. "It is to late to be
getting in the pool, and in your clothes? Well, you all can't come in the house like that and the dryer is being fixed, so I guess you'll just have to stay outside and build a fire so you can dry off without catching cold." (it was about 7:00 and getting dark and cooler)
The girls except for Katy went with Grannie to get towels and some marshmallows,
while Katy took the guys to the shed to get some wood for the fire. After the fire was lit they all gathered around trying to get warm. It was pretty chilly and they were still pretty wet. They got some old hangers and unfolded them to roast marshmallows.
"These are pretty good." exclaimed Joey as he shoved 3 into his mouth at
once.
"You think everything is good," Justin joked as he shoved 2 in his own mouth.
Chris held up his hand, it was covered with marshmallow goo.
"Eww That is gross!!!" Cheryl exclaimed.
Just then Christ wiped it on her mouth and nose.
"Marshmallow fight!!!!!!!" Joey yelled as they all started to get goo on each
other.
"This means WAR!!!!!" Brandi yelled, heading for Justin.
After about 10 min of this, they discovered that the bag was empty. They used
the towels to get most of it off, but after a while they started kissing it of
each others faces (each couple respectively) except for Lance and Katy. Lance
looked around and saw her standing back at a distance. He went to go check on her.
"Is something wrong?" He asked.
"I don't know why but, I was just thinking about "the Psycho". This was always a
place I could feel safe at, and even now it isn't helping much. I just have
this feeling that something bad is gonna happen, more than just the notes, and
it scares me.," she confessed.
He took the towel he was holding and reached up wiped a bit of marshmallow
that he had put on her nose off, as she giggled a little. He dropped the towel
put his strong arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him. He looked
deep into her eyes, for the second time that day, mesmerized by how they just
seemed to be a window into her soul. He took his finger and lifted her chin as
he bent down towards her, and as gently as possible he put his lips to hers,
like she was a porcelain doll and could break at the slightest touch, and
kissed her. Then she put her arms around his neck and pulled him closer to
her. She whispered to him, "for the first time since this whole thing started I
finally feel safe." He just pulled her closer and hugged her till they heard
Jake come out of the house and yell that it was time to go back to the city.
Katy hugged her grandma bye and everyone thanked her for the hospitality as
they drove away. Every one slept on the way back, except for Katy, she just
had this feeling that something bad was gonna happen.......
Chapter 18

"Ok you guys, Wake up!!!" Jake said as he pulled into the hotel parking lot in
Lexington.
"Ahh, ohh, here already?" They all groan, tired from their exciting day.
"I'll race ya to your room!!" Chris yelled to Cheryl.
"Ok!" Cheryl yelled as she ran off, Chris hot on her heels.
"How can they have soooo much energy ALL the time?" JC asked sarcastically.
"I wanna know where they hide their energizer batteries," Joey said. "They
don't have a cape like Superman." Just then Chels hit him upside the head.
"Ahh. What was that for?" Joey asked.
"It's to late to be making references to S-man's cape." Chels answered as she
gave him a kiss on the cheek.
They all entered their hallway to see Chris and Cheryl standing there with
guilty grins on their faces.
"What have you 2 been up to?" Brandi asks.
"Nothing" They chime in at the same time (they were making out, but heard the
elevator bell and stopped just as the doors opened, but shhhh)
Kimber started to open the room. (They had adjoining suits that had four
rooms, 2 on one side for the boys and 2 on the other for the girls, and one
commons area, that way it was easier for security to keep an eye on them)
Katy was the first one in the room. She let out a scream that cut through the
air like a knife and then she fell to the floor. Lance walked over to her and held her,
trying to calm her down, unsuccessfully, as the others all walked in and
gasped.. The room was a wreck. Someone had trashed it. All of the furniture
in the commons was torn, the lights were broken, the TV was kicked in, and the
curtains were torn down. Jake and 3 another body guards went to check out the
other rooms. They four all 4 of them trashed as well, with everything thrown
about. Beds moved, clothes and personal belongings everywhere, everything was
broken. Just as Jake walked back in holding a note that was on Katy's bed, Dana
walked in and asked what al the commotion was about.
"Oh my!" She said when she entered the room.
"Is that another note?" Justin asked as he held on to a crying Brandi.
"Yah, I'm afraid it is," He replied.
"Where was it and what does it say?" Chels asked while sobbing into Joey's
embrace.
"It was.. on Katy's bed," He replied looking at her with a heavy heart.
She just closed her eyes and held on to Lance a little tighter.
"What did it say?" JC asked.
Jake read it aloud:

By this time everyone was just about in tears. Katy was just sobbing. Lance
was trying to comfort her, but wasn't having any luck. They were all scared for their lives.
How did "the psycho" get into their hotel rooms? The door wasn't preyed open. How
did he/she know that they were at Katy's Grandmas? stay tuned to find out!!!!
Chapter 19

Jake left to room to go call the detective. Dana went over and tried to help everyone calm down. About 15 min later the investigator arrived.
"Hello My name is Lynn. I am the one who has been assigned this case, normally now is when I ask what happened, but I can already see what happened."
The investigator looked arround, took some pics, and talked to everyone. Jake and Lynn then left so he could show her the past notes.
"So where are we gonna sleep tonight? Our rooms are trashed and the hotel is full," JC asked.
"I don't wanna stay here anyway. Its to scary," Kimber replied.
"Well, you each have bunks on the bus, so I guess you can all stay there for the night," Dana suggested. Mike, the other security guard there at the time agreed that the bus was a good idea.
They all gathered their things and went down to the bus, still shaken by what had happened. Once on the bus, they all just went to bed, (after saying their "goodnights")
After about an hour, Joey woke up to hear sobbs comming from the TV room. He got up to see what it was. When he went in he saw Chelsea crying softly.
"Chels? Whats wrong?" He asked as he noticed her tearstained face.
"What do you think is wrong?" She replies in a short manner as she wipes some tears from her face. Joey goes over to her, puts his arm around her and pulls her close.
"Everything will be Ok. Lynn will get to the bottom of it." Joey tried to comfort her.
"But what if everything isn't ok? I don't wanna die. This was supposed to be a tour to help people, but instead we are afraid for our lives," She replies.
" I know, its kinda ironic, but you will be ok, I'll make SURE of it. I promise. I never break my promises," He says. Chels looks up at him and smiles as he wipes the remaining tears off of her cheek. He looks at her and says, " You are an incredible person, why anyone would want to harm you is beyond me. I could never hurt you. I'm starting to fall in love with you." He wasn't planning to say that, but the words just came easily to him, for once in his life, when faced with a beautiful woman.
"I'm beginning to fall in love with you to." She replied as she looks deep into his chocolate brown eyes and kisses him with a spark that was never there before.

The next day, They all woke up early, even JC, no one could sleep.
"Did anyone hears those strange noises last night?" Chris asked.
"What noises?" Katy asked, a little paraniod.
"It sounded like um, well,, slurping," He replied as everyone kinda looked at him funny when he said 'slurping'.
"Well, I think I know what it was," Justin said as he opened the door to the TV room. There were Chels and Joey, asleep in each others arms on the couch.
"Should I wake them up?" Justin asked with a smirk on his face.
"No let them sleep. At least some of us can," Brandi replied.
"Ah man, your no fun," Justin replied as he shut the door.
"Ha Ha very funny," was Brans response to that.
They gave the concert that night without any problems and left for Atlanta. When they got there they checked into a hotel. All of then were a little hesitant to open the doors to their rooms. The guys were in 2 rooms across the the hall from the girls' 2 rooms. The next morning they all went down to the meeting room for the usual meeting. They noticed that Lynn, the investigator was there to.
Dana starts off the meeting," Well, as you can see, Lynn is gonna be joining us untill this stalker thing gets taken care of. So we wanna welcome her to our little family. Now lets get down to business. We are gonna have a little different schedule in this city as well." Everyone just looks around at each other like 'not again'
"Well, I can see you all are enthused. We will be doing all the interviews today and hive a HUGE outdoor concert tomorrow.Are their any questions?"
"Yah, Lynn do you have any suspects?" JC asked.
"Yes, but we haven't made any arrests. You all will be th first ones to know when some more progress is made." Lynn answered.
"I meant, are there any questions about the schedule?" Dana snapped, as everyone got a shocked look on their faces.
"No, I think we got it." Chris replied.
"Sorry for snapping, I'm jsut a little stressed,"Dana replied just a short.
All that day they had interviews, individually, as a groups and as joint groups. So far they had managed to keep the "psycho" a secret from the press. It seemed that they were gonna dodge another day without anyone knowing untill the last question of the day.
"There have been rumors of a stalker following the group is this true?" The reporter asked. None of them wanted to lie, but it was the only way.
"What do you mean by "stalker"?" Kimber asked non challantly.
"There ahve been rumors of someone leaving notes in your hotel rooms, and gifts, and I was wondering if it was true," the reporter responded.
"Well, we get letters and gifts from fans all the time. We try to read as many of them as we can and we usually give the toys to hospitals," JC responded.
Then Dana stood up and said that the press conference was over. They all went back upstairs to Katy and Brandi's room.
"Man that last one was close. Thats all we need, fan's parents freiking out that our concerts aren't safe,"JC remarked.
"Yah, but what do I do when I start thinking that our concerts aren't safe?" Katy asked in reply. Lance grabbed her hand and whispered in her ear, "You remember that I won't let ANYTHING hurt you." and gave her a kiss on the cheek as she blushed.
Everyone made gaggy noises and went to the next room (it was adjoining) and started to order a movie. Lance and Katy walked in after them.
"What?" They asked as they walked in with all eyes on them"Haven't you ever seen a couple before?" Lance asked as Chris threw a pillow at him and they settled down to watch the movie.
They just sat and watched movies together for the rest of the night. In each others arms. (couples respectively, no "extra curricular stuff" here)
The next day they left at 7:30 for the arena. Since it was an outdoor concert, there was a little more technical stuff to go threw. They guys had a radio interview, so they took a van and were gonna meet up at the arena a little later. When the girls got on the bus, they each had a package with their names on it in their bunks, from the guys.
"Justin is sooooo sweet!!!" Brandi exclaims as she ripps into the box.
"They all are!!" Kimber exclaims as all the girls follow Brandi's lead and rip the paper off of the boxes.
"What the..AHHHHHHHHH!!" Cheryl yells. Her screams were followed by screams from the other 4 girls. There was a dead rat in each of the boxes.
"Is this Chris's idea of a joke? Not only did the rat thing get old a LONG time ago, but this is NOT the time for this." Cheryl yelled as the girls took the boxes to the dumpster.
About an hour after the girls got to the arena, the guys arrived, each with a rose for thir girl. Chris noticed Cheryl facing the oppisite way on stage, so he came up behind her and grabbed her waist as he put the flower in front of her. She turned around to face him, pulled away, grabbed the rose, threw it on the stage stepped on it and ran off the other way in tears. Each of the other guys roses were NOT excepted warmly. Katy just looked at Lance and told him that she thought he was going to keep her safe, and that she was mistaken and ran off. Chels looked at Joey and all she could mutter was "You promised" before she ran off in tears. Brandi took the rose from Justin and threw it at him before going after her friends. Kimberly just looked at JC with a face of ice that JC never knew was possible for this warm person to have. She just went the other way.
"Does anyone know what just happened here?" Chris asked, fighting back tears, like the rest of them.
"I have no idea, but I think we should go find out," Joey said.
They all went to the backstage area to find the girls in tears.
"What is going on here?" Chris asked Cheryl. He tried to put his hand on her shoulder, but she pulled away. He had never felt such a twing of loneliness in his life.
"You all put dead, yes DEAD rats in our bunks on the bus!!!!!!"Brandi yelled, directed mostly at Justin. "That is NOT what I call a good morning gift."
"What are you talking about? I don't know anything about a rat. Besides, we left at 5:45 this morning, why would we do something like that at such an ungodly ealy hour anyway."Justin replied. All the other guys had the same confused expressions on their faces.
"What do you mean you don't know. They were addresed to us from you." Chels replied.
"Are you saying that someone put a dead rat in your bunk, from us?" Lance asked, a little confused.
"When we went to the bus this morning, there was a box on each of our beds from you guys, and there was a dead rat inside each of them."Katy said, wiping her tears away.
"We not only didn't put them there, but would never do something that bad at a time like this," JC replied.
"Oh, so your saying that you would do it if this wasn't a bad time." Cheryl replied, laughing a little.
"Well, maybe." Chris answered as Cheryl went up to him and gave him a kiss.
"I'm sorry I yelled," she told him.
"If we did that, you had a reason to. But we didn't so, give me a kiss!!" He excitedly said as he pulled her closer to him.
"That was beautiful man." Joey and Justin joked as they pretended to cry.
They all kissed and made up. Just then Lynn walked onto the stage.
"Huh hum." She cleared her throat.
"Oh um, sorry." JC stammered out, a litle surprised by her sudden appearance.
"Well, I was just going around the stage to help security check things out." Lynn stated.
"We really appreciate all your help. I just hope you can figure something out soon." Katy told her, as the rest of them agreed.
"Is there anything that you ahven't told me, that you might have fiorgotten?" Lynn asked.
"Well, this morning...." Kimber begun as she told Lynn what the girls had found.
"Thanks for telling me. Why rats? That is discusting." Lynn asked.
"Well, when the 2 groups first got together, there was a prank that involved rats. I guess that is where it ws from." Cheryl answered, blushing a little.
"Hmm, thats interesting...." Lynn mumbeld.
"What?" aksed Lance.
"Well bec-" Lynn was interrupted by Dana comming up to them.
"How's it going?" Dana asked.
"Ok.... now." was Chels's answer.
"What happened to you shirt?" Brandi asked, noticing a hug pirce of her shirt was missing at the bottom.
"I don't know, must of been when I was unloading stuff.," Dana answered.
"Since when do you unload stuff?" Kimber joked.
"Well, since now I guess," she replied."Now come on, we ahve aconcert to get ready for." She said as she ushered them back to the stage.

"Man, the weather looks like its gonna get pretty bad." Katy remarked.
"Yah, the wind is really picking up." Brandi agreed.
"Will everything hold up?" Chels asked Dana.
"I think so, there's no reason why it shouldn't.
"Well, ok then Lets do it!!!!!!!" Cheryl yelled as the girls ran out onto the stage for their opening number.
Just as they hit the last pose of their opening song, a huge gust of wind blew and......

Chapter 20

All the girls saw a flash then they realized what it was. All the girls tried to jump out of the way when they saw a light falling from the roof of the arena. But Cheryl didn't get out of the way soon enough, she tripped over some wires, and the light landed on
her..Cheryl was screaming and so were the rest of the girls. The guys ran on stage to see what was going on. Dana followed them. As did the bodyguards.
"Oh my god!!!!!" Brandi yelled.
"Is she going to be okay?"Chelsea asked in-between sobs.
"Looks like she has pretty good burns on her and I think her arm may be
broken," one of the guards said.
"WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!JUSTIN~!!!!!!!!!" Kimber screamed as she saw
another one of the lights falling, Justin jumped out of the way just in
time. The light barely missed him.
Brandi ran over to him "Are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine." Justin said getting up off the ground. All the fans were running and screaming. Just going crazy. The ambulance got to the arena and they put Cheryl on a stretcher and put her in the ambulance
Chris was right by her side, he got in the back of the ambulance with
her, with a bodyguard up front.
"Everything's going to be aiight" Chris kept telling Cheryl.
*Meanwhile*
Everyone was piled in the tour bus on their way to the hospital. They finally arrived at the hospital all the girls still bo-hooing. (crying) The guys tried calming them down..Nothing worked..When they got in the ER waiting room they saw Chris pacing back and forth.
"Chris, What did they say?" JC asked.
"I don't know they, won't let me see her."
"Have you asked a nurse?" Katy inquired beteween sobs.
"They won't tell me anything."
"Lets all just sit down and wait, everything is going to be okay,"JC said.
JC sat next to Kimberly, Joey sat next to Chelsea, Lance sat next to
Katy, Chris was still standing up and so was Brandi. Justin had sat down
in a chair next to Chelsea. Justin motioned for Brandi to come sit on
his lap. Brandi just kept walking back and forth, ignoring everyone,"My cousin, my
best friend, this just had to happen to her." She thought to herself.
"Brandi come sit down," Justin said .
"Okay," Brandi replied as she walked over to were Justin was sitting and
sat down on his lap laying her head on his shoulder. Katy jumped up
when the doctor came out.
"What's wrong with her?"Katy asked the nurse.
"She has a broken arm and her burns are pretty severe but she is going
to make it"
"OKay thanks.."Katy said then going over to Lance and plopping down on
his lap.
"Everything's going to be all right sweetie," Lance assured Katy.
"I just feel helpless," Katy replied.
Everyone was cuddling and most of them were calming down a
little but Brandi, Katy and Chelsea were still pretty shaky.......Chris
got up and asked if he could go see Cheryl the nurse said he could and
she showed him to the room. It was about 10:00; Katy had fallen sleep on Lance's shoulder, Justin and Brandi were in the little kids play room thingy in the waiting room
playing with the toys. Then Justin sat on the little couch that was in that room and he turned cartoons on and Brandi laid her head in his lap. JC and Kimberly Were also falling asleep in the chairs. Chris was still in Cheryl's room holding her head, Cheryl opened her eyes:
"Where...am...I?" Cheryl asked.
Chris quickly woke up, "Your in the hospital."
"What happened why am I here?" Chris explained everything that had happened.
"Am I going to be okay?"
"Yes sweetie your going to be just fine..I love you," Chris said as he
kissed her forehead.
"I love you too," Cheryl said closing her eyes.Chris got up to go get
something to eat he walked in the waiting room and saw only Joey awake.
"Hey man, Is she okay?"Joey asked.
"Yeah she's fine, she just woke up and she didn't even know where she was. So I told her and everything and she fell back asleep. I am worried if she is going to be okay?"
"Yes IM sure she will be fine," Joey said giving Chris a friendly hug.
"Lets go get something to eat," Chris suggested, so they could get their minds on something else.
"Okay" Joey agreed. They walked by the kids playroom in the waiting room.
"Look at them," Chris said pointing at Justin and Brandi. They both giggled al little then went to find a candy machine. They finally found the candy machine."Lets ride on the elevator again" Chris said.
"Okay," Joey agreed since there was nothing better to do but sleep. They
rode on the elevator about 4 times then one of the doctors asked them
to stop. So they went back to the waiting room and Chris went back to
Cheryl's room.....
Chapter 21

Soon after Chris and Joey finally joined the others in slumber, everyone was awakened by Lynn and Jake coming in to ask them some questions.
"Rise and shine everyone!" Jake said to get their attention. They all gathered in the waiting room.
"What happened to the lights?" Chris asked, "Was it a malfunction? Did one of the cables break?"
Lynn looked like it was gonna be hard to answer this question, but her voice was slow and steady, "I'm afraid not. When some of my men went up to take a closer look they found the cords of the fallen lights had been cut."
Everyone just stared at her like she had just spoken in Greek, shock all over their faces.
"What?!?"Chris exclaimed in disbelief.
"I'm afraid its true. I haven't had a chance to go up and investigate myself yet, but they know a cut cable when they see one. Do you remember anything out of the ordinary before or after the incident, see any people that you shouldn't have?" Lynn inquired.
"No," everyone shook their head.
"Well, if you remember anything, let me know as soon as possible. I'm going to go look more into it. Tell Cheryl I wish her the best."
"Ok, we will," they all agreed and thanked her as she and Jake left.

Just then the doctor entered the room.
"Oh No!! What happened?" Brandi yelled "What's wrong with my cousin? She's my best friend!!!" she hid her face in Justin's shoulder.
"Calm down, nothing has happened. I just came to say that we are gonna release her about3:00 this afternoon and that you should all go back to the hotel and get some rest till then," the doctor announced.
Brandi quieted down after that, feeling a little silly for her outburst. Just then 3 of their body guards walked in. "Come on. We are gonna escort you back to the hotel till Cheryl gets released, and then you cam come up to get her."Tim (one of them) said.
"Is it OK if I stay with her?" Chris asked.
"Yah that's fine," Tim said.
Chris looked at the doctor. He gave Chris a nod and lead him the Cheryl's room.
The other 8 had to sneak out the back, there was a crowd of people at the front, holding up posters for Cheryl to get well soon.

On the way back to the hotel, they all decided they would watch movies in the commons room of the suit they shared.
"I can't believe this happened," Kimber exclaimed as she leaned against JC.
Justin put the movie in the VCR and sat next to Brandi on the couch.
"Me either. It is all just so....unreal," Chels said in disbelief.
"But it is VERY real." Katy said, a little uncomfortably. Lance gave her hand a squeeze as they sat on the floor leaning against the couch. They all sat in their own thoughts as they watched the movie.

Back at the arena, Lynn and Jake were inspecting the area where the light cord had been cut.
"What's this?" Lynn asked as she pulled a piece of fabric from a nail that was sticking out of the rafters."Its a piece of cloth," she said out loud to herself.
"Jake, what do the techs wear when they hoist the stage equipment?"
"Black t shirts that say staff on them why?" he replied, a little curious as to why she asked.
"Then why is there a piece of red cloth up here?" Lynn wondered.

Back in the hospital Dana had come to see how Cheryl was doing.
"Hey how are you feeling?" Dana asked Cheryl as she walked in the room.
"I'm doing fine now. A little sore though," she replied.
"Well, a light fell on your arm, what do you expect?!?" Dana joked.

Lynn thought a while and remembered something.
"Hey Jake, do you know where Dana is right now?" she asked.
"Umm, I think she went to see Cheryl. W.." Before he could finish, Lynn was running towards her car and calling for backup on her radio. Lynn had remembered Dana's red shirt was torn the day before. Could it be? No there had to be another explanation.
"Come on!!!" She yelled to Jake.

While she was on the way to ask Dana some questions, she got some information over her cell phone. She found out that Dana's prints matched the ones on the notes from the psycho, there were no others on them, and she found out that Dana wasn't really who she said she was. Her name was Melinda Roberts she used to be in a mental hospital. She had tried to make it in a singing group when she was younger, but when it flopped she attacked her band mates. She was put into a mental hospital. She broke out about 15 years ago and was never found. They say that she is unstable and should be considered dangerous. When Lynn repeated this info to Jake and the driver of the car, they sped up a little more. Lynn walked in to Cheryl's room just as she was getting ready to be released. Chris and Dana, or Melinda rather were with her.
"Hey Lynn!" Cheryl exclaimed as she walked in."Made any progress?"
"Actually yah I have. Dana could I see you outside for a moment?" Lynn asked.
They walked outside and shut the door behind them. Dana/Melinda noticed the other police officers that were there ."What's going on?" She asked.
Lynn looked at her and said: "Melinda Roberts, you charged with stalking and attempted murder. You have the right to remain silent..." she continued to read Melinda her rights as the rest of the group comes up to meet Cheryl.
"What is going on here?" they ask when the see all the commotion.
Jake pulls them aside and fills them in. Katy looks over at Dana, or Melinda, or whoever she is with scorn, resentment, hurt, and betrayal in her face. Her voice was steady, unwavering, and cold as ice as she said, "How could you. You were like the head of our group, our family. How could you hurt us like that, and our friends?" Lance was shocked by the harshness in her voice, how could such a sound of meanness come out of such an angelic person he thought to himself.
Just then Brandi added, in an equally frigid tone "You could have killed my best friend."
"Chels added just as malicently as the two before her, "You are pure evil, you bitch."
Kimber just stared in shock, and horror. Frozen. she couldn't say or do anything. The guys looked on, not sure what to do. they just stood there. It was like a knife has struck all 8 of them in the back, and twisted it. The girls all wondered how they were gonna tell Cheryl, she and Dana, or Melinda rather, were very close. After they finished their comments, Melinda just threw her head back and laughed. She laughed an evil, menacing, cold laugh. Chels went to tackle her, but Joey held her back. The police escorted her out of the hospital and to the police car to be taken to jail.

Just then Cheryl and Chris walked out of her room, Cheryl's arm in a cast.
"Whats all the commotion?" Chris asked.
"Well, we found out who the stalker is." Katy said, with a sad tone in her
voice.
"But thats great" Cheryl said a little confused"Who is t? Have they been
arrested?"
"Cheryl I'm not sure how to tell you this, but it is Dana." Kimber told her.
"What?!?!" Cher exclaimed "This isn't anything to joke about."
"I'm afraid its true."JC piped up.
"But How? Why?" Chris said in puzzlement, just as shocked as Cheryl.
Katy explained to them what was wrong with Dana/Melinda, or whatever she is.
Cheryl just walked away, twards the back entrance where the bus was.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the next morning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next morning they got a call from Johnny Wright. He said that he would be
at their hotel in half an hour to have a meeting about what was going on. They
all got ready and went to the meeting room to wait on him.
"So how are all of you doing?" Johnny asked, noticing how worn out they all
looked.
JC answered for all of them, "As good as can be expected after all that has
happened."
everyone just kinda nodded and agreed with his statement.
"You all have been through a lot. I know it might be difficult, but there are
3 weeks left in your tour and it would be good if you finished it. Thre are a
lot of charaties dependeing on the profits they make from you all. Are there
any objections, because if there is any problem at all, we will end it now."
Johnny put it all out on the table.
They all looked around at each other. It was in their faces.
"I think we should continue." Katy said.
Everyone looked at Cheryl.
Looking at her cast then looking up at Johnny, "As long as I don;t ahve to do
any back flips or anything, I'm in" She joked. She was starting to be her old
crazy self again.
"Well then is everyone agreed?" Johnny asked.
They all nodded.
"well then Id like to introduce you to a friend of mine who will be doing the
managing of the remainder of the tour. Her name is Lizzy."
"Hi its really nice to meet all of you. I've admired you work and its a
pleasure to be able to work with you all" She said as she shook each of their
hands.
"So do you have anything different planned for the tour?" JC asked.
"Well actually I do. Insted of doing a lot of pormos the day you arrive in a
city and the concert the next day, You will be visiting the place where the
money you will raise goes to. Like if it is a hospital, you'll go visit the
childrens ward. If its a homeless shelter, you'll go serve lunch, or something
like that. Then the small concert that night. The next day you will do some
promos, nothing like you've been doing, and the larger concert that night.
Afterward you do a quick-leave and start heading for the next city. How does
that sound?"
"Woh!!" they all exclaimed.
"Sounds like you got a plan." Lance stated.
"Well, I like to be prepared. So is that ok with you all?"
"Yah!! Its fine," they all agreed.
"This is they way it should have been from the beginning, rally haveing a
chance to help people. Visiting them, not just giving them money." Katy said.
Everyone nodded theor heads in agreement.
"Well, you all better go and get packed or you won't make the next concert on
time. I'll meet you all back on the bus in 1 hour." Lizzy said as she left the
room.
Everyone followed her out and went to their rooms to pack.

They arrived in Dallas, the next city, late that night and went straight to
their rooms. The next morning they went down for their meeting with Lizzy in
the conference room.
"Good morning!!" Lizzy happily sang as the all piled into the room.
"Morning," they all replied.
"Your cheerful today," Justin commented.
"Well, I guess i'm just in a good mood, thats all." Lizzy replied.
"So what are we doing today?" Kimber asked.
"You are going to spend some time at St.James Children's Hospital. Then you'll
ahve dinner at the venue and give a concert."
"Sounds good to me!" Joey exclaimed.
They all agreed that it was a pretty cool thing. Especially Lance and Katy,
they loved kids.

At the childern's hospital, all the children that were up to having, and that
could have visitors, were itting in a room waiting for the groups to arrive.
When they walked in the room allthe kids squeeled with excitement. They spent
most of the day playing with the kids, singing them songs.
after a few hours, Lance looked around and couldn't find katy. He ezcused
himself from the puzzle he was helping a boy named Kyle with and went to find
her. He asked the nurse in charge of the visit if she had seen where she went
off to. The nurse told him that she went to the courtyard to get some air. So
he left to go get her.
"Katy! there you are. I've been looking all over for you. Why did you come out
here? It looked like you were having fun playing on the piano in the playroom
with that one girl." Lance said as he went over to her. It was then that he
noticed that she had been crying. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Well, its just that..Oh forget it." She exclaimed and got up and went to
stand by the fountain in the center of the yard.
"What is it. You know htat you can tell me anyhing." Lance assured her.
"I know. Its just that..."
"That what?" Lance asked as he took both of her hands in his and faced her.
" That girl I was with, Alisha?"
"Yah, what about her?"
"She has terminal cancer. She was just sayin how lucky I was in music, and
that I ahd you for a boyfriend."
"You told her?"
"No. She just noticed. She said that she could just tell and that she'd keep
it a secret. Alisha also said that she could tell we'de be together for a long
time. Thats when I almost started to cry. She is such a sweet person and
doesn't deserve that. Then Alisha started in on how i shouldn't cry. Afer that
she was saying how she loved our music and wanted HH's rendition of I'll be
your Angel played at her funeral, and that sh'd felt like she knew me and I
was even nicer in person. The she just stated to make jokes so I wound't cry
and stuff. Then the nurse came up to her and said dhe had to go back to her
room. So I hugged her by and she whispered that i should hold on to you, she
felt like it was something special, and left."
By this time Katy was sobbing and lance had watery eyes.
"Oh my" Was all he could manage to get out as he pulled her closer to him to
try and comfort her.
"Lance, what is gonna happen to us when this tour ends?" katy asked beteween
sobbs.
"I'm not sure, but i know I don;t want us to end." He answered.
"Me either. So are we gonna try and make it work?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way"
Lance then pulled away from Katy enough to be able to look into her blue eyes
that were almost white in the sun. He gently wiped her tears away with his
thumb. She looked deep into his sea green eyes before he pulled her chin up to
his and their lips met.

night they had the concert in the small hall. It was a really good concert.
All of them seemed a little refreshed from the things that had been goin on
before. After the show they decided to take a swim in the hotel's pool.
"Uhh, I kinds can't go in with this cast on." Cheryl said.
"Thats ok. I'll go with ya to the game room and kick your but in Kung Foo
Fighter." Chris challenged.
"Oh no you won't !!" Cheryl yelled as she headed for the door.
"Hey Kimberly, can I talk to you for a minute?" JC asked as the others went
for the pool.
"Sure whats up?" She asked.
"Kimber, what are we ginna do when this tours over? I mean, with this new
schedule, we don;t have as much time and this might be the last chance we ahve
to talk about this."
"Your right." She agreed.
"So what do you wanna do?"
"Look, JC, I like you a lot, but i just don't see how its goona work. I mean,
its hard enough to ahve a relationship with someone who is in the same place,
but if we both travel..."Kimber said in a depressed tone.
"I know. I feel the same way. But I would still like to reamain friends. we've
been trough a lot not to keep in touch."
"I agree. So are we just friends now? Kimber asked timidly.
"Yah."
They hugged and left for the pool to join the others.

The breakup hit the group prety hard. It was difficult over the next few
weeks. But just as everyone was getting over it and things were back to
normal......
They had just gotten done serving lunch at a homeless shelter when Brandi ran
onto the bus and shut the door to the back. The girls all looked around and
Justin wasn't anywhere to be found. So they told the guys to go look for him
and went to go see what happened.
"Brandi open thedoor, its just us girls." Katy said to the panneling.
the door opened to reveal a cryingbrandi.
"What happened?" Chels asked as she handed her a kleenex.
"Me and Justin broke up." She said in beteween sobbs."We left about 15 min
before the rest of you did, and we decided that it would be best if we saw
other people."
"If you BOTH decided, why are you crying?" Kimber asked.
"I don't know. I wanted it to be like this too, but its just hard."
"It'll be ok. We're here for ya." katy comforted her as she gave her a hug.
"Just remember, if he does anything to ya, i'll just pound his 'little friend'
with my cast. That'll teach him" Cheryl joked. It worked. It got Brandi to
laugh. By this time the guys had found out from Justin what had happened. The
bus left for the small venue. Once they arrived.....
" Hey guys, do you realizr that we only have 1 concert after this one together
before you all go back to New york and we go back to Orlando?" Joey said,
kinda sad.
"AWWW man, did you ahve to say that!!" Lance said hitting him on the back of
his head.
"ouch. That hurt." joey yelped.
"Well, what you said hurt to." Cheryl said grabbing chris's hand.
Each group went to the dressing rooms.
"Hey Joey!" Chels yelled, "Can you com gere for a second?"
"whats up?" Joey asked
"Ok. I think you know the question. We are the only ones who haven't decided
whats gonna happen b/t us after tomorrow" Kimber layed it all out on the
table.
"Look, Kimberly, I love with all my heart, and i would never do anything to
hurt you. and like i promised I'll always be there, and I want to stay with
you, but you and me, we're a lot alike. we can't not flirt. I think it would
be best if we just dated. you know stay togeter, but see other people too."
Joey suggested.
"Joey I love you to..and your idea. I was gonna suggest the same thing."
Kimber looked deep into his chocolate brown eyes. he pulled her closer to him
and pressed his lips against hers.
That night they all gave one of the best performences that they ever had. The
next night as well. The sad part was, after their last performence, they
didn;t get to say goodby to eachother.
