I look out across the ocean,
And wish upon a star,
For a potent potion,
For he who looks afar.
I looked out across the ocean, and I wished upon a star, for a potent potion for he who looks afar, I wish that you would remember me, like you did once before. I'd cross deserts for you, feel blood pounding in my veins and the heat on my feet. I miss you every night and day, my heart is full of holes. You said you'd always be there, my protector, my knight in shining armour, but, you're not.
I walk across the burning sands,Burning through my soles,
I miss you every night and day,
My heart is full of holes.
When your friends all deserted you, I stood by you. When I need you the most, you are not there, in my hour of need, never you come to help. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE ME. To see your friends die around you, one by one, they crumbled. I am alone now, all have left me, my only friend is, the Moon and the Sun. They are not like you wild and foolish mortal. That's what I am now Immortal, it is lonely in this place, you were my light, my one true love. I believed in you, my life is like the ocean, ever moving. On stormy nights, the roses bloom blood red across the pillar, I have told them to. My blond hair flies as I gaze into the gale, my blue eyes begin to fill, no you deserted me not the other way around. I reach and touch the sparkling stars,
Shining through my tears,
They glitter as I think of you,
Burning away my fears.
That was true once, when I first came here, but now, my fears haunt me, as my memories of you do, you with your sapphire blue eyes, and dark hair. I still hurt some nights, standing on the cliff, why did I come here? I ask, why did I give you a piece of me? I never got it back. I loved you, admired you and what did I get in return? Pain, tears, and a broken heart. Sometimes I just breakdown and cry.
I know you are my own protector,
My knight in shining armour,
Our love will shine forever more,
Never growing calmer.
Dreams, they were only, just dreams, you never returned my love. I just couldn't ever touch your world, could I? You may say I sound bitter, the only one you wronged, but I KNOW there were others, young girls who knew no better, you the handsome mysterious man at some gala or other. You are an old man now, with only your thoughts and memories. It was my magic that kept us young, and you left me. So now I am ready to begin anew. My life without you, when I say Immortal, I mean I will live forever. I wouldn't have to die if I didn't want to, but, I miss having friends, a family, being a teenager, parents tell their children of the never ending teenager. They think it's just a story, that I don't exist. Oh I exist all right. One day my friends will be reborn and I with them, we are all reborn every century or so. New slate, unmarked, perfect.
I can't believe you left me,
Calling in the wind,
my heart has died oh cant' you see,
My soul has flown, I am gone.
I will remember you. Though you wronged me, I for give you .
I will always love you, longer than forever.
