    BAMIGAME v.0.01 ... A twisted game about anime-chara's eating ramen.
    (veeeeery unstable, it might crash while the 3D engine is running..
    known errors is that the engine is referring to a device wich is in
    use now..)

What's Bamibattle?

It is a _really_ weird game (just as weird as the anime I use to watch ^_^)
It contains all sort of insane stuff mixed with anime charas..

===============================================================================
What's in Bamibattle01.zip?

This zipfile contains:
- Readme.txt (The thing you are probably reading now.)
- BAMIGAME.EXE       (The actual game)
- EGAVGA.BGI (The thing of Borland, in use by the Graph unit.)
- VESA256.DRV (An SVGA driver, useful in case of older machines.)
- DATA:
  - BAMIGAME.DAT     (Scores and stuff..)
  - LEVEL1.DAT       (The map of Level1)
  - SOUND.DAT (With the MIDI info.)
- GFX: (Folder with grafix, when we miss one, you get noticed.)
  - *.BMP            (The Bitmap files..)
  - *.PCX (The PCX files for level1..)
- SOUND:
  - SOUND1.MID (The backgroundmusic. Yes, its a movie soundtrack.)

Note: the zipfile 'Bamibattle01_src.zip' also contains sourcecode and bitmaps.
      this zipfile doesn't have the sourcecode and stuff, because not everyone
      is interested in it, and it is a kinda big file.

What's it about?

In some far east country lives the ultimate master of the
'Martial Ramen School' named "Muhammad-Bami".

He can never be too convinced about his mastering of the Art of
Noodle-slurping.
So, he invites the greatest Martial Arts Masters in his oriental
castle in a challenge of Bami-Battle. The one who can eat more
ramen in a short amount of time than he, will be the master of
the Martial Ramen School ... Aaaand, wins a free box of Instant
Ramen.

However, all the Masters who answerred his invitations were
never able to win the free bo...erh the title of Master in the
Martial Noodle-slurping.

So, somewhere the United Martial Art Schools decided to send
Anime-chara's to win back their honour.
But, was that really such a good idea?

Go play this game and see for yourself.

===============================================================================
How do I play this?

Well,
After you went through the Intro. You end up at the World map. An 'End' kanji
(Japanese charecter) might appear if you cleared a level. You can scroll from
level to level with your arrow keys.

Oh, and make sure you have rebooted the computer lately (under Pentium3).
Because, this game will cause a war in your internal memory and will kick some
serious butts in the I/O peripherals.
In the case that you might be afraid of that, you might want to turn the sound
option off. And the Extended Keyboard too...

===============================================================================
Can I actualy win this game?

I think so...

===============================================================================
Why Noodleslurping?

I am not too fond of violence and the like...
I just say "Make ramen not war" (or is it "Make anime not war" ??).

===============================================================================
Some higher goal?

Nope..
I just wrote this to train my skills in Pascal-programming..
(It impressed my teacher when he asked if I program Pascal. ^___^)

===============================================================================
Technical specs:

The graphics are made with standard MS Paint (delivered at every Win95 distro),
from scratch,,, (-_-;; oww, my hand...)
The game, levels and stuff were programmed in Turbo Pascal 7.0.
The 2D engine (Afwas2D) and the 3D engine (Afwas3D) were written from scrap..
Except the 3D engine, that was written from an C/ASM implementation of the
WolfEnstein 3D engine (thanks, Gabor Nagy!). You might want to check google.com
for that.

The name 'Muhammad-Bami' is coming from my nickname...
(Because I taught almost all of my friends, the art of eating instant noodles.)
