Dr. Marvin Monroe is a psychiatrist who advertises on television. He also has a radio show to help troubled people with their psychological problems. He listened to Marge complain about "Pedro" as Homer was being mocked by his coworkers. He also tried to help the Simpson family to stop being so violent by hooking them up to electric shock buzzers and letting them shock each other to get their aggressions out, but the city ran out of power, and Dr. Monroe paid them to leave. It's a good thing that doctors like Dr. Monroe have screwy families like the Simpsons to treat, or else they'd run out of business.
