Meet Lisa Simpson!

Lisa Simpson is the idealistic daughter of Homer and Marge Simpson. She is famous for her jazzy saxophone skills and nonconformist ways. This sometimes gets her into trouble with authority, and Homer sure can't understand it, but she thinks it's worth all the trouble.

I think my favorite episodes with Lisa are the ones where she falls in love with her substitute teacher, Mr. Bergstrom, and another where she falls in love with class bad-boy, Nelson Muntz, and the one where she becomes a vegetarian. Hee hee, Homer had some funny lines in that one. She told the family, "I'm never going to eat meat again!"

Homer said, "Wait a second, Lisa, do you mean to tell me that you're never going to eat the meat of ANY animal?"

"That's right."

"No pork chops?"

"Nope."

"No bacon?"

"Nope."

"No ham?"

"Dad, those are all from the same animal."

"Heh, heh, sure they are, Lisa. From one wonderful, magical animal."

Lisa's prized possession is her saxophone. Her teacher is Mr. Largo (which is a very slow tempo notation), but her inspiration is Bleeding Gums Murphy, who died on the show. Once, a girl named Alison (voiced by Winona Ryder) beat her, but after that episode, we never saw Alison again. Anyway, Lisa loves her sax more than anything.

I'm still looking for more Lisa pictures, so this page will get bigger and better as I find more shtuff. But in the meantime, if you ever see me, ask me to do my Lisa impression. It's not too bad. If Yeardley Smith ever died, I just might be able to take over.
