Meet Kent Brockman!

Kent Brockman is the anchor of Springfield News. He is well known for promoting propaganda rather than an unbiased report of events.

Some of the funniest things he's done is the time that Homer went to space and accidentally broke open the ant farm. Kent thought the spaceship had been overrun by giant alien ants, so he put up a "Hail, Ants" sign on the studio backdrop to greet his new masters.

Another time, he asked an expert to come into the studio and asked, "Do you think we should panic?" The expert replied, "Yes, I do, Kent." Later in that show, he asked the same expert, "Do you think we should go about bashing other people's heads in and feasting on the goo inside?" The expert once again replied, "Yes, I do, Kent."

Kent also won the biggest Springfield lottery ever. He would have quit his job, but apparently, he wasn't too humble to appear before the "little people."
