Miss Hoover is Lisa's third grade teacher. She, like Mrs. Krabapple, is a heavy smoker. My favorite line out of her is "The children are right to laugh at you, Ralph." Lisa's favorite day of school was when Miss Hoover was sick with a psychosomatic ailment similar to Lyme disease and Mr. Bergstrom came to teach the class. Lisa fell in love with him, Jewish cowboy that he was.
