Meet the Bullies!

Nelson Muntz, Kearney, Jimbo Jones, and Dolph are the bullies of Springfield Elementary school.

Nelson is the ringleader, with his taunting cry of "Haw, haw!" ringing often through the playground. Nelson used to date Lisa, but they broke up when he lied to her.

One of my favorite episodes was the one where Nelson "Haw, haw"-ed the big guy in the small car, who then stepped out and said, "Do you find something comical about my appearance when I'm driving in my automoBILE?" You hafta hear him say it, it's hilarious! Anyway, so he makes Nelson walk down the street with his pants at his ankles, and everyone in Springfield "Haw, haw"s Nelson. Hee hee.

Kearney has a son and shaves. He also drives a Honda to school. Once, Nelson stole the "H" from Superintendent Chalmers' new Honda, and he and Principal Skinner tried to steal it off Kearney's car. But he quickly put a stop to that.

Jimbo used to date Laura Powers (voiced by Sara Gilbert) until Bart broke them up by telling Moe that it was Jimbo who always calls the tavern. Moe charged into the Simpson house with a huge machete, and Jimbo burst into tears. "Aww, stop crying, kid," muttered an embarrassed Moe. "I wasn't really gonna kill ya, I was just gonna cut ya a little." Laura promptly dumped Jimbo because she hadn't realized what a sissy he was. "Can I have my shirt back," he sniffled as he was kicked out of the Simpson house.

Jimbo was also a member of Homer's vigilante group (he had to swing a sack full of doorknobs), but was disillusioned by Homer's getting drunk on his shift. He quit and went to law school.

The four of them like to cruise the playground and beat up nerds and sissies. But they do have sensitive sides. Jimbo was moved to tears by the Masked Dancer's (who turned out to be Bart) performance. "I haven't been this moved since 'The Joy Luck Club,'" he wept. They're a pretty funny bunch.
