Apu Nahasapeemapetilon is the owner of the Kwik-E-Mart, Springfield's finest convenience store. He is always there. He is always polite to his customers and he constantly bribes the police to turn their backs on any illegal activity. He is good friends with Paul and the late Linda McCartney, who stop by his vegetarian haven whenever they come to Springfield. The secret staircase is behind the non-alcoholic beers. His hot dogs are made of tofu, and no one is the wiser. Homer once offered his god, Ganesh, a peanut. The Kwik-E-Mart is the only place in town that sells Squishies. They are the coolest drink in town.
