god, it happened again! i had this long three paragraph thing and it deleted the whole damn thing. but this time i will write it again.
ahh... saturday... my favorite holiday, reoccuring 52 times per year.
i went to sleep this morning after a dinner of eggos at 1:30 AM, and i actually woke up at 8:30. and im not tired. i think i am going to start gradually shorten the period of time i sleep every night until i am rested with only 4 hours. you spend one third of your life sleeping. it seems like such a waste to me. thats the only useful thing i have learned from mr. burke yet.
so i got up, sat around, watched some television, ate some toast, checked my mail and showered. my sister and my mom were frantic all day trying to pull the loose ends together for a bridal shower my sister threw today. i luckily got out of doing any work, except washing some lettuce and typing out 25 names for the gate.
we had a spirit week work day today (oh my, spirit week is so soon!) and i had to make 500 copies of these little oval name plate things so we could write all the names of the people in our class in them. kinkos ripped me off, and i didnt have enough money, but they took all i had. it really should have been less. 8 cents a copy is ridiculous. im glad i didnt have enough money. i might just start going to copy club. and using their conference room.
so we wrote 484 names in these little ovals, and it doesnt seem like that many, but it is. thats a lot of names.
when i got home i went and got chinese with my dad and we got into one of those disscussions where my dad feels he needs to lecture me on what i need to do to be a good person and stuff, and he went into different family structures, and the colleges and then carreers i should have. i got tired of it, so i turned on the telly, and guess what? ed sullivan was on public television! the ed sullivan show is awesome. if you havent watched it, you should give public tv a whirl. the jackson five was on, and george carlin when he was like, five years old. ok, he was like twenty, but he was so young.
neil diamond was on too. not the highlight of the show, let me tell you. but it is pretty cool. ed sullivan kinda scares me though. just the way he looks like a zombie.
i drank some "perfect peach" tea, but it wasnt as perfect as i had hoped. and i hope this doesnt get deleted again.

Today was another boring day in the life of Nicole. I was almost late for first period, completed my homework during second, ate some Cats Cookies For People during nutrition, took a test during third, and slept. During fourth we made cards for Mr. Collins, my biology teacher from last year who has melinoma and is in the hospital. I'm so sad about that. I really hope he is okay. Lunch was wasted away doing basically nothing. I don't even know where my friends were. Well, most of them anyway. Greg and I bantered some Eddie Izard, Monty Python and Kids in the Hall for a while. That's always fun. Making people laugh with other people's jokes. Fifth, journalism, was same ol' same ol' sitting around. I was supposed to go hang out with Jake, but i called thrice and no one was home, so I gave up and just stayed at school until the bell rang for sixth, at which time I went to collect applications. I'm so broke it's embarrassing. I need a job more than pi has digits. I picked up apps at Barnes and Noble, Watsons, a record place and... somewhere else. I need to go look at more record stores later. So now I have no homework and nothing to do, but make this website, which will probably be ignored in a week. But thanks for tuning in.
