Is Tupac Alive?

NEW - controversy over the outro of the new Better Dayz album :
Expect me nigga, like you expect Jesus to come back
Expect me nigga
I'm coming ...

Expect me nigga, like you expect Jesus to come back
Expect me nigga
I'm coming ...

The biggest controversy over Tupac has been the question, is he dead or alive. The alive rumors which originally began on the internet started when Tupac's CD Makaveli: The 7 Day theory came out after his death. Makaveli is of course Tupac's alias based on the Italian philosopher Machiaveli. Machiaveli wrote "The Prince" a warriors handbook on how to achieve and hold power, which led people to believe that Tupac faked his death to fool his enemies and then come back to over throw them. The CD cover of Makaveli shows Tupac on a cross, which leads some people to believe it is part of a plan for resurrection. The title Killuminati, the 7 day theory, in combination with a significant amount of the number 7 (his time of death 4:03 4 + 3 = 7 etc), added to this theory. Another factor which adds to the theory is the "Plan" that Tupac refers too. In many songs he mentions having a plan to get richer. It's possible this plan was faking his death, the other possible plan was the label Makaveli Records he was trying to start. Since the alive theory was started people have looked into his music for references to the alive theory with incredible depth. The only problem I have with the theory is that at times people look so far into his music I feel they miss the actual point of the line, phrase or song, and I feel it takes away from his music. There are many other things people need to take into consideration when pondering the alive theory. If Tupac is alive and he came back, he would face charges for faking his death, which is a serious offense. He always said "I'd rather die before I see the penitentiary." Also, if he's faked his death for the purpose of coming back, wouldn't it make more sense not to leave clues and make it a complete surprise

On the right there's a list of the main alive reason theories, and on the left, there's evidence to contradict the theory statement.

Orlando Anderson

Orlando Anderson was a well known 22 year old crip from the south side of Compton, who many believe although not necessarily directly responsible for Tupac's death, was the cause of it. It started when Travon Lane (Tray), Kevin Woods, and Maurice Combs, Mob Pirus Bloods, were at a Foot Locker at Lakewood Mall. They were approached by 3 Southside Crips, and Orlando Anderson (Baby Lane) stole Tray's Death Row medallion which happened to be a personal gift from Suge Knight. On the night of September 7th 1996, Suge, Tupac and Travon Lane were at the Tyson/Seldon fight in Las Vegas. While leaving the MGM Tray noticed Orlando Anderson and pointed him out. Tupac stepped up to Orlando and said "You from the south?", then punched him in the face knocking him on the ground, after which Suge and the Deathrow entourage proceeded to beat him. Later that night Tupac was shot and killed. There is a lot of evidence which suggests that it was in fact crips that were responsible for the death of Tupac. The police report names Southside Crips member, Jerry Bonds as the guy who drove the Cadillac in which the bullets were fired from. There was a source that told Compton police that at Club 662, he heard Tray say that the shooter was Orlando's uncle Dwayne Keith Davis (Keefee D). Orlando Anderson was arrested by Compton police on October 2 and held for questioning, but they couldn't find any substantial evidence to link him to the murder and he was released. The following week erupted in gang violence between crips and bloods in which many people were murdered. On Sept the 9th, on East Alondra a man who Las Vegas police said may have been in the Cadillac was shot in the back. On the 11th Bobby Finch, who Compton cops said may have also been in the Cadillac was gunned down on South Mayo at 9:05 am. Two bloods were shot and killed by an assailant who fled on foot. Suge Knight who took part in the beating of Anderson in the MGM was violating his parole in doing so. Anderson told the police that Suge was part of the beating, then reversed his testimony on the witness stand. It was rumored that Suge had paid Anderson off. The judge sentenced Suge to over 7 years in prison. On May 29, 1998, Anderson and his friend Michael Reed Dorrough pulled into the parking lot of Cigs Record Store at the intersection of Alondra and Oleander in Compton. Here he met Michael Stone, also a crip, who was with his nephew, Jerry Stone. Tempers rose and a gunfight erupted. Orlando and the Stones were all fatally injured. An informant told police it was connected with the killing of Tupac, others said it was over money. I personally believe that Anderson was not responsible for the death of Tupac, if he was he would have been killed long before a fellow crip killed him in 1998.

Suge Knight

In the advertisment of his album Makaveli it reads "Listen Very Carefully". If you listen closely to the first three seconds of Makaveli 7 Day theory you can hear "Suge shot me". It's hard to say how, by who, and when it was put there. It remains a mystery. When Tupac was sent to prison in 1994 he was planning on spending atleast 3 years there. He hated prison and would have done anything to get himself out of there. Suge had previously asked him to join Deathrow, but he said "he just wasn't ready." The reality of it is that Tupac didn't want to join Deathrow, but changed his mind when faced with prison. Suge said he'd get Tupac out, in exchange Tupac had to do 3 albums for Deathrow. They worked out a contract in which Tupac would receive an advance of $1 million for the first album, in addition to $125,000 for a car, a $120,000 expense allowance for one year, a $250,000 legal fund to be spent as Tupac desired, and David's legal services. Tupac would be paid a royalty of 18% for sales of the first album, plus a bonus of 1% if it went Gold, and another 1% if it went Platinum. For the second and third, Tupac would be paid an advance of no less than $1 million, or $1 million for every million copies of the prior album which was sold, and he would be paid a royalty of 18% of sales, plus a bonus of l% if it went Gold, and another 1% if it went Platinum. Tupac said at the time he signed the contract "I know I'm selling my soul." But he couldn't stand another few years in prison. Tupac agreed and Deathrow lawyer David Kenner went about bailing Tupac out of jail. The New York Court of Appeals granted him leave to post bail. $850,000 was raised by Atlantic Records, which was posted in a corporate guarantee. The rest was put up with a $300,000 bail bond and $250,000 in cash from Suge or Interscope. Tupac immediately began and released the album All Eyez on Me, a double CD which covered the first 2 CD's of the contract. While on Deathrow Tupac really seemed to change, influenced by Suge in the mob lifestyle and obviously bitter for the setup in the rape case and being shot 5 times. While on Deathrow he was jacked by Suge Knight repeatedly. He was charged rent on a Wiltshire apartment that other Deathrow artists lived in on 9 separate occasions. He was charged $23,857 for repairs to a Porsche owned by Steve Cantrock and Suge. Suge and another Death Row representative, who were in California at the time, on the phone told him that he had spent $2 million more than he was entitled to receive. He was charged $115,507 for three pieces of jewelry from B.L. Diamonds, Suge said that the jewelry was a gift to Tupac from Suge, but the bills were never paid. On May 2nd, Tupac was charged $14,500 rent for a house in Malibu which David Kenner lived in. He was then charged $100,000 rent for David Kenner, then $12,000 more. He paid $2700 for Nate Dogg's child support and charged $5,845 for jewelry that Suge bought from XIV Karats Ltd. Sept 3rd he was charged with expenses associated with Michel'le Toussa's Range Rover for $1,453.51. He was also charged over $28,000 for a Chevy Suburban Title. It was taken in Tupac's name initially, but was given to Suge's brother-in-law, Norris Anderson. Tupac was charged $51,425 in connection with the cost of transferring the car to Norris. In August Tupac was charged $2,965, for an American Express bill from Suge's wife. Tupac was charged with expenses that he never agreed to pay which were attendant to the production of albums released by Death Row. He was charged $3,421,842 in video production costs and $663,012 in audio production costs. When Tupac died he had no mutual funds, IRA, or real estate. He owned no stocks or bonds, and had a checking account that had less than $105,000. He also didn't own his Woodland Hills house in San Fernando Valley that he had recently thought he had bought.

There was a five-figure life insurance policy, the beneficiary was Sekyiwa, a $61,000 Jaguar that Suge got for Tupac's appearance in a commercial, and a Hummer. His apartment, Rolls-Royce, and Mercedes were listed in Death Row's name. There's no question Deathrow was run corruptly, and they owed Tupac a lot of money, which is reason enough to kill Tupac. With Tupac's last CD, Makaveli The 7 Day theory, Tupac was poised to leave the row as he'd filled his contract agreement. He was ready to setup Makaveli Records and Euphanasia, a production company from which he wanted to make movies. He was going to be the first artist on the label, One Nation was the second and he had plans to sign Greg Nice and Smooth, another group at quest and Ghetto Starz which is an offshoot of The Outlaws. He also had another company called 24/7, for his music and video work, the scripts he was writing, and the books he would begin as soon as he finished the plans he was doing with Leila to reform the educational system. On August 26th, 12 days before Tupac was shot, he was on the set all day and at the studio all night. On the 27th, Tupac sent Yaasmyn Fula, who managed his business affairs, to the studio to get tapes of what he had done because he wanted to listen to them. Deathrow said no, David Kenner wouldn't allow it. Tupac fired him. Yaasmyn wrote a letter saying that Tupac had finished his last album and he wanted to leave Death Row. Tupac gave Yaasmyn permission to hire another lawyer. On September 7th, Tupac went back to L.A. He decided he wasn't going to go to Las Vegas, but to Atlanta to settle problems with some relatives instead. Suge got him to change his plans because weeks before he'd promised Suge he'd go to the Tyson/Seldon fight with him. He said he didn't want to go, but he'd given Suge his word. At the MGM Grand Tupac was mad because Suge showed up at the last minute. He sat in section 4, row E, seat 2. After the fight they got into a fight and beat Orlando Anderson, a crip who snatched a Deathrow chain from Travis Lane. They went back to Suge's place and got ready to go to club 662 owned by Suge. Tupac had wanted to drive his Hummer, but Suge said that they had things to discuss and got Tupac to ride with him. They drove first in a caravan of cars towards club 662. A white Cadillac pulled up beside them and opened fire. Tupac tried to get into the backseat, but Suge pulled him down, and a bullet bounced off of his right hip bone and hit is lung. He was also hit in his right hand and chest. Suge was grazed by a bullet, and suffered a minor head wound. Immediately after the shooting, the Cadillac went south on Koval. Suge made a U-turn from the left lane of Flamingo and sped West toward Las Vegas Blvd., away from the nearest hospital. Yafeu Fula (Khadafi) had been in the car behind the BMW with bodyguards and said he could identify the shooter. He was later found dead in New Jersey with one shot to the back of his head. What reason would Suge have to kill Tupac ? Well Tupac had over 200 master tapes, tapes which would leave Deathrow if Tupac left, if dead they would own rights to the tapes and they wouldn't have to pay the enormous amount of money they owed him. Perhaps Tupac had knowledge of the Row that Suge didn't want him to have if he left. Whoever it was that shot Tupac, didn't seem to want to kill Suge. 13 shots were fired at the car and Suge was grazed by one. Orlando Anderson, who was rumored to have been part of the shooting was a crip, and Suge was a blood. Anderson originally testified that Suge had participated in the beating in the MGM theater, a violation of Suge's parole. He later changed his statement. It was rumored that Anderson was paid off.

The Number 7

Some people think Tupac is coming back 7 years after his death, that will be 2003. It is weird how the 7 keeps comming up in his new albums, movies and videos. He was shot on September 7th. He survived 7 days. (7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 'died on the 13th....7). His time of death was 4:03 (4+0+3=7). His age when he died 25 even adds up too 7 (2+5=7). Tupac's car was shot at 12 times. He was hit 5 times. If you take 12-5 it equals 7. He died in 1996. 1+9=10-9=1+6=7. Tupac was born in 1971. Tragicly he died in 1996. 1971=[1+9+7+1]=18 1996=[1+9+9+6]=25 18+{7}=25 or 25-18={7}
On "All Eyez On Me" there was some 7's that showed up. It was released on February 13th, 1996. Tupac was gunned down exactly 7 months after "All Eyez on Me" was released. Also In the song "Heartz of Men" on the album "All eyez on me" at the time 3:13 (3+1+3=7) Tupac says " I died and came back". Also On the last page of the " All Eyez On Me " booklet it says 2pac fan club p.o. box 2694 decatur georgia 30031 (3+0+0+3+1= 7)
2Pac was in 7 movies. There was even 7's in the movies that came out after his death have. In Tupac's last movie ''Gang Related'' his badge number is 115(1+1+5=7) In the movie if you listen to the movie at one part, It says something like," ...who was thought to be dead for 7 years..." referring to the doctor who they thought was dead but actually became a bum. At the begining of the movie when the camera pans down to the motel if you look at the door of the room that Tupac is in it is number seven. His gambeling debt was one week late. The third suspect Tupac interviews robbed a Jewelry store on Seventh and Front In the movie, "Gridlock'd," when Tupac and Roth are in the diner and they glance up at the menu, all the L's are upside down 7's.
His last album was "R U Still Down,Remember me"was released on the 25th (2+5=7) At the end of the song "Hold on be Strong" (R U Still Down Remember me) he says "Things get tough especially around the 1st and the 15th" (1+1+5=7)
In the Toss It Up video Tupac smashes a mirror with a baseball bat and that would result in 7 years bad luck
Tupac has been having alot of guest appearances on singers albums after his death. On Jon B's CD "cool relax" the song "Are You Still Down" featuring 2pac is track 7. Tupac is also on track 7 on Daz's album. On the Richie Rich's cd the track with 2pac is track 9 but minus the two skits it is the 7th song and remember he talks about being shot and murdered but probally talking about the N.Y shooting.
In the I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto video. When there in the diner the clock says 4:03.4+3=7. This also is his time of death. Also in the video clip "I wonder If heavens got a ghetto". It shows Tupac lying in a hospital bed it also shows him getting out and walking around. When that old man waves tupac to get into the car, shortly after the radio says something about Tupac's death and the old man quickly turns the radio off before you could hear the rest. Also the car's number plate is 61671 if you take 67-61=6, 6+1=7. And another thing the place this was filmed in is called Rukahs and this is Shakur spelt backwards. Some say Rukahs is a small town in Africa. Also In the "I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto" video a woman walks in too a hotel and the room number is 7.
On the song, "White Man's World," if you listen very closely at the beginning, there is a voice in the background saying, " 7 years, 7 years, 7 years...
There were seven, "Outlaw Immortalz," until Kadafi was killed. In the song "White Mans World" Tupac says "all for the street fame on how to be managed to plan shit six month in advance to go on swol" maybe he planed his death six month's in advance and faked his death on the 7th month.
On Bomb First there is 6 shots then on the 7th Tupac starts to rap
On the greatest hits album, the first disk has 12 songs, the second disk 13, 1+2+1+3=7, also 12+13=25, 2+5=7.
On the album "The Art Of War"(which is also a Machavelli book) by Bone Thugs~N~Harmony, on the 2nd disk track 4, entitled " 7 sign" in the beginning of bizzy's verse he says "throwin up 7 what am I yellin? murder fraud" he is definitly refering to the 7 day theory and pac.Thug Luv the song that features 2Pac off Bone's album "Art Of War" (T+H+U+G+L+U+V=7)
On the Death-Row chains the guy in the chair is wearing a number on his left side of his chest and the numbers are 935 now if you do some adding and subtracting you would get 9+3-5=7
Some of the Outlawz said that Tupac did the "Don Killuminatti" in 7 days, from start to finish
Tupac's birthday is the 16; 1+6=7.

Most fans (over 83% in a recent survey) still hold on to the belief that Tupac Shakur may still be alive. There are many suspicious details about his departure that contribute to this.
After leaving the Tyson fight on Saturday September 7, 1996, Tupac was alledgedly shot 5 times. He lived through the shooting and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on Friday September 13, 1996.
Friday the 13th is a very suspicious day.
There were never any pictures released of Tupac in the hospital.
In the song "Life Goes On", Tupac raps about his own funeral.
The driver of the car in which Tupac was riding, Suge Knight (the executive producer of Death Row Records), didn't show up for questioning about the shooting.
The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I ain't Mad at Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyes On Me. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend, which is very similar to how he was shot in real life.
Interestingly, Tupac dies in his last video released under the name "2Pac". His new video "Toss It Up" from the new album was released under the name "Makaveli". The second video to be released by the name Makaveli is "To Live and Die in L.A." But how could they shoot the second video when he is "dead". Was the video really shot 4 months before his death, back in August of '96?
In the video "Hail Mary" released under the name Makaveli, there is a gravestone that says Makaveli. But the gravestone is cracked and there is a hole right in front of it, inferring that Makaveli rose from the dead.
A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occured close to the release of his album Doggystyle. The shooting made Snoop appear more "real" and showed his fans that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platnium. Snoop was signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.
In December '96, Tupac's new album went platinum. In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. What is the only way Tupac could completly escape the media spotlight ??? (Answer: if the public thought he was dead.)
Press wasn't going to be allowed at the funeral, but then the funeral was cancelled for unknown reasons.
Tupac always wore a bulletproof vest, no matter where he went. Why did he remove it at a very public event like a Tyson fight?
In most of his songs he talks about being buried, so why was he allegedly cremated the day after he "died"? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death in a murder case?
Tupac's alias is Makaveli. Though the spelling is different, Machiavelli was a 16th century italian philosopher who advocated the staging of one's death in order to evade one's enemies and gain power. In Machiavelli's book Discourses Upon the First Ten Books of Titus Livy, in Book 2 Chapter XIII he says "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to deceive". This is Machiavelli's main idea and is the connection between Tupac and the writings of Machiavelli.
Tupac studied Machiavelli in depth while in prision was a fan and had read his books several times. Perhaps Tupac is taking his advice. Machiaveli wrote two books before his death. Look at what the All Eyez on Me disks are called.. Machiavelli's books were called, "Book 1," and, "Book 2." The CD's of, "All Eyez On Me," are entitled the same
One of Machiavelli's books is, "Discourses Upon The First Ten Books Of Titus Livy," which it's claimed Tupac read in jail. In Book 2, Chapter XIII He says, "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to decieve..." This is very similar to verses in some of Tupac's songs.
Some say that Tupac modified the Machiavelli name because if you rearrange the letters, they spell, "Am Alive," or, "I Am Alive."
The title of the new album by Makaveli (Tupac) is The 7 Day Theory. He was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and"died" the 13th. Hence the title The 7 Day Theory.
Tupac's album All Eyes on Me was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac "died" on Sept.13, 1996. It is quite a coincidence that the two dates are exactly 7 months apart.
Tupac officially died at 4:03 PM. 4+3 = 7 Also he "died" at an age of 25 years. 2+5 = 7. It seems as if seven is Tupac's number.
There is nothing in the new album that says TUPAC RIP 1971-1996. Wouldn't it make sense to include something like that in the first album after his "death"? The only thing mentioned is "EXIT TUPAC ENTER MAKAVELI".
Did Bone Thugs N Harmony play a role in helping Tupac fake his death? In the, "Thug Luv," song, right before Tupac starts rapping, Bizzy can be heard in the background saying, "He's alive, he's alive, he's alive..." Marketing Hype
The executive producer of The 7 Day Theory , as listed in the CD booklet of the album, is Simon (who is a previously unknown producer in the rap music industry). In the bible, Simon was an apostle of Jesus. Simon was one of the first witnesses of the Resurrection listed by Saint Paul (I Cor. 15: 5). The Outlawz have confirmed Simon is a reference to Suge Knight who was with Tupac the night of the shooting.
In Richie Rich's album Seasoned Veteran, which was released on the same day as The 7 Day Theory, on the song "N*ggas Done Changed" which is a duet with Tupac, Tupac says the following lyrics: "I've been shot and murdered, can't tell you how it happened word for word / but best believe that n*ggas' gonna get what they deserve." This phrase implies that Tupac knows he will be dead when Richie Rich's album is released.
In Makaveli's (Tupac's) song "White Man's World" on album The 7 Day Theory, he says "We ain't never gonna walk off this planet unless ya'll choose to." Did he choose to walk off the planet by faking his death?
In Tupac's song "Ambitionz az a Ridah" on the album All Eyes On Me, he says "Blast me but they didn't finish, didn't diminish my powers so now I'm back to be a muthaf*ckin' menace, they cowards thats why they tried to set me up, had b*tch *ss n*ggas on my team so indeed they wet me up, BUT I'M BACK REINCARNATED." This implies that Tupac is reincarnated as Makaveli.
Tupac "died" in Las Vegas which is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take. That means doctors, press, lawyers, etc.
The white Cadillac containing the assailants was never found... How could this be when Vegas is in the middle of a desert?
There's a small Black community on the North side of town.. This strip is only about 8 blocks long.. If the attackers were Black.. Where did they go? Where did they hide?
The white Cadillac containing the gunmen passes a entourage of Tupac's boys, many of them body guards... No one gives chase and there are no witnesses...There were no witnesses on the street... How come? Why not, especially right after a heavyweight fight?
The cover of Tupac's album Makaveli has him looking like Jesus Christ... Could he be planning a resurrection?
Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert. How come there was no helicopter chase? If some one were to rob a casino, the LVPD would've chased you down with some helicopters.. . How come this didn't happen with the Tupac shooting?
There were no ballistic tests in the murder case... At least we haven't heard about them....
Tupac's vehicle got shot 12 times and Suge didn't get hit once.. He was 'grazed' by a bullet.. Why did Tupac get shot all those times and Suge not get hit?
Suge said he drove Tupac to the hospital and they had a coherent conversation? How bad was Tupac hit?
Tupac had completed 2 movies and 3 LP’s that have were to be released.. With so many people upset about Tupac's death, literally anything connected with him is bound to net a whole lot of cash...
There is a 72 million dollar life insurance policy on him which has yet to be cashed. No legal actions could be taken against him as long as it isn’t cashed.
The video 'I Ain't Mad At Ya' foretold his death ....
The memorial services that were open to the public were canceled in both Los Angeles and Atlanta...
In addition to number 19, Tupac said in his song "Life goes on" from his "All Eyez on Me" CD, that when he died he wanted "every rapper" to rap at his funeral, etc. Why didn't Death Row fulfill his death wish?
In a 1994 interview with Tupac, he said before he went to prison that if he was ever sent to prison when he came out he would be worse than before. He was. He also said when he came out it would be like he was reborn. Was he speaking literally? He already died and he was worse when he came out of jail, plus Tupac switched his rapping name from 2 Pac to Makaveli, that could be considered a rebirth, all that's left is a physical rebirth (A sighting) and so far he's already completed more than half of this prophecy.
Suge Knight and Tupac are the only two music industry people on that high a profile with enough balls to pull off a stunt like faking death...
People close to Death Row and relatives of other famous rappers have speculated to me and others about the shooting being staged.
Why wouldn’t a company as powerful and rich as Death Row Records not put up a reward to find the killers?
Other possible clues are contained in the new album. It is called “The Don Killuminati: The 7 day theory” which is still a mystery in definition. Inside the cover, it reads “Exit: 2pac, Enter: Makaveli” as if 2pac has died and Makaveli born.
The cover of Makaveli DK 7 Day Theory holds many hidden icons, and references Marketing Hype
The only witness who was going to step up and I.D. the shooter was Kadafi (Yafeu Fula) but he was shot a few months after Tupac.
