Thanks to tonight's special guest, Tom Rush, for taking a moment to tell us about his upcoming local shows:

"Club 47" concert at Sanders Theatre in Cambridge on August 24 with David Bromberg, Deb Tallan, and Mark Erelli,

and a solo show at The Bull Run in Shirley on November 9.

We also discussed the reissue of his catalog of recorded music, including the recent release of "Live at Symphony Hall" on Varese/Sarabande,

and his career retrospective "The Very Best of Tom Rush: No Regrets" on Columbia/Legacy Records.

"No Regrets" ties the past to the present by including songs from 1963 to 1999, including a new one, "River Song".

We also heard excerpts from the new CD, "Down From The Mountain" on Lost Highway Records, a live performance of music from the soundtrack to "O Brother Where Art Thou".
