My comments on the Reunion...
In case you didn't remember the reunion was hosted by Rachel (RW San Francisco) and Nathan (RW Seattle) and they both looked pretty good too (not skanky or anything).
My impressions on how the cast looked now
drum roll please.....
Julie- dyed her hair and had it in a bowl-cute hairstyle, she looked about 10 years older
Matt- looked EXACTLY the same - like he's been stuck in a time warp or something
David - looked better, more grown up, was even dressed more conservatively - preppy like
Jamie - had a shaven head that actually makes him look better - dressed preppy as well (maybe he and David shared the same fashion consultant?)
Danny - I'd have to say that he looked worse than when he was on the show....like he was stuck on the Survivor island a few weeks or something
Melissa - looked nice, more cleaned up
Kelley - looked real skanky - yucky and dirty (she looked MUCH better on the show) (I guess she's gotten REALLY relaxed w/ Peter and she doesn't care about her looks anymore!)
My overall comments on this show was that it lacked drama. Come on. Give us some fights or something!
Some things that happened on the show....
Kelley revealed that she is still w/ Peter but "she doesn't know" about marriage plans.
Danny said he's been living w/ Paul since he left New Orleans. Later in the show he said that Paul is still in the military.
MY question is wouldn't people figure out who Paul "really is" if he's LIVING w/ Danny who the whole world now knows is gay and IS Paul's boyfriend. Also, on the show (not the reunion, the actual show) it was revealed that Paul's parents didn't know he was gay....well wouldn't they figure out now since Danny is now his roomate.
anyway back to the reunion itself...
random thoughts...
I thought David seemed "overall" nicer here than he was on the show.
their love lives...
Jamie said he now has a girlfriend in Boulder, CO. Does that mean he's living there now??
Matt (cough, cough) I couldn't believe his new girffriend was there (Meredith). Also it was kinda funny that they met in a computer lab...but anyway, this Meredith girl is like a Julie clone, looks wise, but she looks a LITTLE more sororityish than Julie.
Julie seemed a little jealous about Meredith and that whole thing, but I think she tried to hide it pretty well.
When asked about her love life, Julie "pleaded the 5th". I'm taking that as a "No!"
Julie said she's doing a lot of lectures since BYU suspended her (isn't that what ALL RW alumni do!)
random comment ---> This reunion needed a little DRAMA! (didn't I say this before?). Maybe they needed Puck to co-host it or something (ha, ha!)
I thought it was funny that Matt is now the National Life Teen Spokesperson. My ?? is what does that organization do....or is it just a magnet organization for a bunch of religious freaks?
During the reunion it seemed that 95% or what everyone said was very sugarcoated and PRish.
I thought it was funny when Melissa would talk about her parents Shorty and Mercy and the fact that they are now both Real World "Junkies."
David was really getting on my good side until at the end when he had to RUIN it by saying...well you know....WOO WOO! I was like shut the fuck up you muthafucka. (sorry that this website is kinda getting R-rated for a moment!)
at the end it said what there all doing now (besides giving college tours, yadda, yadda, yadda)
Kelley - living w/ Peter...and you know...college tours...
Julie - living in Huntington Beach, CA and working w/ her brother's band which is trying to open for the Aquabats. (isn't that the band that Travis from Blink182 used to be in?)
Melissa- living in LA and pursuing her comedy act. Go Melissa! If you have a LOT of money to spend you can BUY Melissa's art!!! at www.bunim-murray.com!...If you have even more dough she'll autograph it! (WOO,WOO right David?)
Jamie - working on his soulgear.com business (or something like that...)
David - besides saying Woo, Woo he is currently....singing....including at a Tampa Bay Buc's game! WOO WOO WOO WOO!!!!
Danny - doing entertainment stuff (like that guest appearance on Dawson's Creek) and living w/ Paul "somewhere on the east coast." (note, I live on the east coast and I haven't seen them so they must be hiding real good :-<>)
