The greatest work of art

I was standing there Below the greatest work of art Looking up I could not hold my tears My tears of laughter Looking there at it It’s spheres and globes And imaginary trees Trying to make a comment Which is redeemed My neck was chocking As it was bended And I couldn’t look away

A statement of war and hate Though I disagreed I was too tired to turn my head away So they thought I’m supporting I left there like a statue I was looking there

A sticker which talked About weapons and lines But the lines I see every day Are very unlike them And I was too hasty to disagree And they thought I agreed

There I stood with my tears My tears of laughter There was no other way No wars and deaths No disagreement And there were no more works of art And that was the greatness Of the work I witnessed And that was my laughter
