Chapter Thirteen
"Brian, I have got to talk to you."
"Come on in. You'd better have a good reason for coming here at 8am and making me get my ass out of bed."
"You're the only person I can talk to about this." I told him the whole story about the party, Nick, AJ, and me.
"Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. Nick cheated on you. You decided to forgive him, and then you kissed AJ?"
"Yep, pretty much."
"You lead a soap opera life."
"Tell me about it. What do I do?"
"Who do you love?"
"I'm not sure, but I think I love Nick."
"Then, you have to talk to AJ. Tell him how you feel. Then, go to Nick."
"Ok. Thanks, Bri. What would I do without my best bud?"

I drove back home. Denise was nice enough to let me use her old car whenever I needed to. I was careful not to make too much noise as I entered the house. AJ and Denise were rarely awake before 10am. As I walked past AJ's room to go to my room, AJ called to me, "Nikki, come here. We need to talk."
I knew he was right, so I walked in and sat beside him on the bed.
"What's going on? I know that Nick hurt you, but you said you are going to forgive him. Are you going to go back to him."
"Yes, AJ. I love him." He kissed me.
"You can't tell me that that didn't feel right." He was right and he knew it. Before I could respond, he was kissing me again. As the kiss deepened, we laid back on the bed.
He stopped momentarily and looked down into my eyes. His hands were on my waist. I brought my hands to his neck. My fingers played with the hairs on the back of his neck as I pulled him down for another kiss.
His lips moved from mine as he began sucking on my neck. His hands slipped down to remove my shorts and panties. I pulled his boxers off of him. He slid off my shirt and undid the snaps of my bra. His lips moved from my neck, down to my chest.
He entered me gently. We let out a moan in unison as our pelvises met. He moved in and out of me at a quickening pace. As we both came, we cried out as softly as possible, knowing Denise was sleeping. I had my eyes closed as I positioned myself comfortably in AJ's arms.
I heard him gasp and I quickly opened my eyes. "Mom!"
