"Eternal Dragons"

Other Shenlong is the first dragon introduced into the series. All dragons are created by a Namek of the Dragon Clan. Kami created Shenlong. There are seven balls that accompany Shenlong, each the size of a baseball. When all seven balls are gathered, the user can make a single wish. Shenlong can grant most wishes, but there are some wishes, like bringing a person back from dead more than once, he cannot grant. Shenlong is a huge, long and twisting dragon. Whenever he’s summoned, the sky turns completely black. He talks in a slow, deep voice. After the wish is made, his eyes glow bright red, he flies into the sky, and the seven balls are lifted into the sky. Then they all shoot in different directions. The balls then turn to stone, and can be used to grant a wish one-year later. Since Shenlong is so big, you’d think he’d be fairly powerful, but he’s not. In Dragonball (remember, Dragonball didn’t have very powerful guys, all in the lower hundred) Piccolo Daimao had a wish of his granted, then he shot a blast at it, and the dragon died. Oops. Kami said he’d help the people of earth this one time, and agreed to re-create the dragon. The dragon was created off of a clay-like modal, which looked just like the dragon. Kami used the modal and the dragon was back in business. There is another way dragons can be put to rest. If their created, Kami in this case, dies, so does the dragon. When Piccolo died, so did Kami, and so did the dragon. It wasn’t until later when the dragon was brought back to life (with help of the Namekian dragon). Time passes and the Cell Saga starts. When Kami fused with Piccolo, it was permanent. The worst part, the dragon would be gone. And so the earth didn’t have a dragon for awhile. Goku went to Namek and brought Dende back to earth, and Dende became Kami. Mr. Popo brought out the old modal of the dragon, and Dende re-created it. This time though, Dende made it so it could grant two wishes at once, not three. Time goes on and everybody lives happily ever after.

Porunga
Race: Dragon
Eyes: Red
Hair: He has horns.
Skin: Dark Green
Other Porunga is the Namekian Dragon. He dwells on Planet Namek. He was created by Guru, the Namek Elder. There are two big differences between Porunga and Shenlong. One, Porunga can grant three wishes at once, and the waiting time between wishes is a third of an earth year. The other difference is that Porunga looks way different then Shenlong. I’m pretty disappointed in Porunga, mostly because he doesn’t look like the traditional dragon, but anyway. Porunga was seen in the Frieza Saga. Dende, Gohan, and Krillin gathered the seven balls, each the size of a basketball, and summoned him. They used two of the three wishes, then Guru died. The dragon fizzled out and was gone. The battle with Frieza started. Near the end of the battle, the earth dragonballs were gathered (they used one wish to bring back Piccolo, which brought back Kami, which brought back the dragon). With those balls, they wishes all the Nameks back, which included Guru. Porunga was back and Dende used up the last wish to send him and everybody on the planet except Goku and Frieza to earth. When Guru came to earth, so did the dragonballs that he created. Guru was ready to pass on, so passed his power onto another Namek, which became the Namek Elder. He did this and when he died, the dragonballs didn’t have to be re-created, the new Elder was the keeper of them, so they still worked. When all the Nameks found a new planet, they all went there and so did the Namekian Dragonballs….
