MineHunt 4.1 by Chris Heit
Size=12367 or 9884 bytes (varying on existance of titlepic)

Send everything to your calculator with all the pictures and create() in a folder named MINEHUNT.
Run minehunt().

There are three modes to play from: Normal, Classic, and Super.
Note to save space: The files mode1, mode2, mode3, mine, create, bx6, and titlepic is optional. Delete it if you want to save 2483 bytes.

New for 4.1: Sped up mine display when viewing field and made more files optional.

Normal Mode:
Wherever you move, a number appears, designating how many adjacent mines there are.
Tile Icon #:Chooses which tileset to use as the uncovered mine tile.
Creating a custom tile: Choose 6:Custom, draw the tile using ENTER and the arrow keys and push APPS to save it.
Field Width:Set the width of the minefield from 5-18
Field Height:Set the height of the minefield from 5-12
Number of Mines:Set the number of mines in the field from 15-60 (Note: The number of mines can't exceed half the area of the field (.5(w*h))

Classic Mode:
Pretty much the same as MineHunt on the HP. Play is the same as Normal Mode except numbers do not stay on the grid. Instead on the right side it shows how many mines you are near.
There is no setup for this mode.

Super Mode:
The most original MineHunt type game. You will not always die on the first hit. (depends on hitpoints.) Various things happen throughout gameplay (see below)
Options in Super Mode:
Cross-Clearer (up to 5): Uncovers that horizontal row and vertical row. All goodies uncovered are nullified. Mines however will still explode on contact.
Movable Cross-Clearer (up to 5): Same as cross clearer, except you can select the intersection of the row and column to uncover. Play resumes at the position of the cross-clearer goodie.
Score Booster (up to 5): Adds ten points to your score.
Extra Lives (up to 3): Adds an extra hitpoint.
Adjacent Clearer (up to 5): Uncovers the 8 adjacent squares. All uncovered goodies are nullified. Mines are not.
Double Adjacent Clearer (up to 3): Uncovers the 8 adjacent squares, and the 16 squares adjacent to those.
Mine Exploder: Explodes 75% of the mines on the field. All 8 adjacent squares are uncovered. If you are on an adjacent square, you lose a hitpoint.
Ack! Causers (up to 5): Makes you shout Ack! when all uncovered squares are blackened and cannot be restored and your score is divided by two.
Ugh! Causer (up to 1): Makes you shout Ugh! when all covered squares are blackened and your score is divided by two. All goodies are nullified and no score is added on each move. Just hope you don't hit a mine.
Miscounter (up to 3): Randomly subtracts 1, adds 1, or nothing to all uncovered squares, causing them to read the wrong number. Good luck if you get this.
Teleporter (up to 5): Allows you two move ten squares without nullifying the square. This means the square is uncovered but nothing happens, unless it is your tenth move. In other words, mines do not hurt you, and goodies uncovered may be walked on afterwards to get the goodness. On the tenth move the tile is uncovered and you work from there.
Number of Mines (15-60): Must be less than half the area of the field.
Quick Display: Display only mines when viewing mines. Speeds up display considerably

Controls:
Arrow Keys: Move the cursor
ESC: Quit the game
APPS: Shut off the calculator (Acts as a PAUSE)

Rules:
NOTE: THIS GAME IS NOT MINESWEEPER!
The rules are basically the same as MineSweeper EXCEPT squares are uncovered each time you move. You start at the upper-left and work your way to the lower-right. Each number tells you how many mines are next to that square.
__________
|* |1 |0 | This is an example 3X3 section. The real field is 12X18. *=Mine
|--|--|--|
|2 |3 |2 | Scoring: To add more of a goal in the game, a score is
|--|--|--| kept (how many squares you have uncovered.) If you win
|1 |* |* | you earn a 40 point bonus to compensate for the 40 mines
|--|--|--| on the field (or however many there may be.)

NOTE: Sometimes an impossible minefield is generated. Don't cry; just simply start a new one.
