February 28: The Backstreet Boys have been nominated in two categories for the 1999 Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.

In the Favorite Group category, they're up against Savage Garden and the Spice Girls.

In the Favorite CD category, they're up against Celine Dion and Shania Twain.

You can vote for them online by clicking here and selecting the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards poll.


February 25: BSB didnīt won the award "Best New Artist" that they were nominated in at the 1999 Grammy Award, that went to Lauren Hill! Well, I think that BSB should have won that! They are way better the Lauren Hill! BSB are the best!
February 24: On February 22, the Backstreet Boys, Whitney Houston, Foxy Brown, Monica, and Jerry Seinfield were added to the long list of Grammy awards presenters, which previously included Beck, Shirley Manson of Garbage, Will Smith, and Brian Setzer, among others.

On February 17, '99, the BSB album was certified 10x Platinum by the Record Industry Association of America.

"All I Have To Give" is gold, and "All Access" is 5x platinum.

The Record Industry Association of America awards platinum certifications for album sales exceeding 1 million units and gold certifications for album sales exceeding 500,000 units.

February 22: I heard this on MTV NEWS:

Puff Daddy is giving one of his tracks to the Backstreet Boys. Acording to reports the boys hope to start work on it soon in time for the long awaited third album Millennium .


February 21: "All I Have To Give," is currently the No. 3 selling single in the United States!

BSB have been nominated for two awards at the Nick Choice Awards that will be airing on May 1st, 1999 and hosted by Rosie O'Donnel.

They have been nominated for: Best Group. Also in that catagory are N'Sync, Dru Hill, and Spice Girls.

They've also been nominated for best song with 'Everybody', the other songs are 'Are you that somebody' by Aaliya, 'Gettin' jiggy wit it' and 'Miami' by Will Smith.

Backstreet Boys Plan Euro Invasion Following the May 18 worldwide release of their third Jive album, "Millennium," the Backstreet Boys will embark on a three-month European tour. The dates begin June 2 in Ghent, Belgium, and are followed by stops in Germany, the Netherlands, France, England, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. U.S. dates begin in early September.


February 14: BSB have postsponed their whole European Tour because their album in the US is going so well and you find the new tour dates here.
January 25: BSB was at the NHL All Star Game in Tampa Bay, Florida yesterday, they sang United States National Anthem before the match started, and by the way, USA won against the team The World with 8-6.
December 21: The Backstreet Boys recevied a lump of coal in itīs holiday stocking this week, as a stage technician ha filed a 3 million dollar law suit against the group. No court date has been set up for the multi-million dollar civil suit.
If I can say my opinion, I sure think that the Backstreet Boys should win this, like itīs their fault that Micheal, or what his name was, get a thing in his head that happen to be in the Backstreet Boys show. GO BACKSTREET!!!!!!
December 11: BSB won the award for best Group Album at the ī98 BILLBOARD AWARD!

The Backstreet Boys are set for a worldwide release of their highly anticipated third (second forUS) album, Millennium, on May 18, 1999. The first single from the new album will go to radio in early April. Millennium was co-written by the Backstreet Boys and includes tracks written and produced by Max Martin, Mutt Lange and Steve Lipson.
