The Past: Formed in 1987, the Goos
released 5 albums with drummer George
Tutuska before current drummer Mike

in 1995 with their single, "Name," and hit it
big again in 1998 with "Iris."

The Present: The band is currently touring
in support of their album, Dizzy Up the Girl.

The Future: The Goos will most likely
continue touring into the new year,
before returning to the studio mid-2000
to begin working on their next album.

Quote: "If someone wants to give you
grief for no good reason, I always want to
call and go, Why? Why? Why did you say

entitled to a wrong opinion."

Quote: "Are we going to be so pretentious

Mike Malinin

Quote: "I think names of bands sort of
become okay once people get to know the
bands. I mean, there's all sorts of silly
names floating out there that you don't
really think are that silly when you're
saying them. What do people think about
the Beatles? You know, it's a pretty silly
name if you really think about it."
