Chapter 7: Meeting Some Family

‘The guys looked very weird in their disguises. Why do they wear them anyway?’ Jordan thought as they went towards the plane.

“We have to take a plane?” Jordan asked looking uneasy.

“Yea,” Kev replied.

“It’s not that bad,” said Howie.

“Don’t worry about it we do this all the time. But the main problem is if we can get Frick and Frack on,” AJ chimed in. Jordan giggled and got on.

They got to the Orlando airport and found AJ’s mom.(Boy how time flies LOL)

“Hi I’m AJ’s mom Denise,” she said.

“I’m Jordan,” she replied shyly. In the parking lot the guys took off their disguises. Then they were on their way to Nick’s house.

When they got their a little Nick came running full speed at them yelling, “NICKY!!”

“AARON!!” Nick returned, picking him up.

“Is that Jordan?” he asked, wiggling away from Nick.

“Yes I’m Jordan,” she said.

“I’m Aaron and my mom wants to meet you. Come on!” he stated wasting no time and started pulling Jordan’s arm. Everyone laughed at his eagerness.

“Mom! MOM! Where are you mom?!” he called.

“Over here Aaron!” she called back, laughing. She was sitting with 3 other people, who Jordan guessed were Bob, Jonny, and Donna. She stood up.

“Hi, I’m Jane Carter, I’m Nick and Aaron’s mom. Unfortunately,” she added, laughing.

“Nice to meet you Mrs. Carter.”

“You can call me Jane.”

“Or you can call her mom like we do.” Brian said as he hugged Jane, “Hey Ma!”

“I think I should stick with Jane for now,” Jordan said, “Oh by the way, I’m Jordan Johnson.” Brian looked surprised.

“You have a last name?!” he said.

“DUH!” said Nick, who walked up and hugged his mom.

“This is why we call them Frick and Frack!” Kevin whispered.

“Watch this.”

“Sorry Nick, I didn’t know!” Brian retorted. Jordan and the guys rolled their eyes.

“What was that all about? You think it’s dumb we’re fighting over a last name?”

“Yeah,” she replied to Nick, “It’s childish.” “NO! Howie, Don’t throw me in!! Please!!” she screeched clinging onto him for dear life.

“How come?” he asked.

“Cause I’m scared of the water! I can’t swim!” she yelled clinging to him even harder that it was starting to hurt. They reached the pool area and he put her down.

“Thanks, Howie, for not throwing me in…” she said innocently.

“No prob,” he said.

“You didn’t let me finish. Thank you for not throwing me in. BUT you still hafta pay!!” Howie backed up, or tried to, but Jordan pushed him in and ran away from the pool as fast as she could. She ran into Kevin in doing so.
