Ike woke up he never was really deep in sleep anyway. He was too busy thinking. He was still debating whether or not to try and talk to Sarah. Or try to get her back. He liked Micky a lot and she was really a nice girl. But he knew she would never be the one. He knew who the one was and it was Sarah. This hurt and confused him. He couldn’t believe he was hung over someone who cheated on him with one of his enemies. He rolled over and noticed the bathroom light on. He gave it a couple minutes and didn’t hear anything. He got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom and noticed Zac was gone. “Oh this is not cool.” He said to himself. He flipped on the light of the room and Zac was gone. Of course, considering a tornado could be going through the room and Taylor wouldn’t wake up, he didn’t even flinch when the light went on and off. Ike pulled a wife beater on quickly and in his shirt and boxers went out searching the hotel for his younger brother. He was thinking of different ways to get even for making him loose sleep while roaming the building floor to floor. When he reached one of the floors one of the other girls from the lobby was obviously looking for someone too. “Oh man, thank goodness I ran into you. Has Zac said where Sarah is cause I’m tired and don’t feel like looking for her.” “Sarah’s gone too?” “I’m assuming Zac isn’t back yet.” “Nice deduction Sherlock.” She looked at him, “what is it with your family? Are you all extremely sarcastic?” “Sorry, I need more sleep and I’m pissed he just walked off.” “Don’t worry, he’s with Sarah.” “That’s what I’m worried about.” She looked at him, “excuse me? And what is up with that huh?” He looked at her, “I’m sorry about that, like I said, I’m neglected of sleep and I’m not thinking about what I’m saying.” The girl seemed to blow off the comment. “Anyway, I guess you know my name so what’s yours?” “I’m Kendall.” “Nice to meet you.” “Yeah, you too.” They began walking around. “Let’s try the pool.” “Why would they be there?” “Just a feeling.” “Ok” and both of them walked to the pool a few floors below them. They walked in, “no one is here Ike.” “Let’s try the arcade.” They walked around the other side of the pool. Kendall didn’t see the patch of water there and slipped and fell. “Woah!” She yelled out and Ike grabbed her but ended up slipping himself. Kendall and Ike toppled into the pool with a loud splash and Kendall shrieking. Both came above the water wet and stunned. Out of no where Isaac started laughing. Kendall looked at him and she started laughing too. “Hey, this water is totally instant shrinkage!” Ike burst out and Kendall was laughing so hard she inhaled a bunch of water. Hacking on the water Ike swam over to her, “You ok?” She was still laughing “yes ok, as though I didn’t look bad enough falling in now I totally look like crap.” “You didn’t look bad.” “Ha, yeah right, did you see me? Talk about bed head.” She said laughing. “No really, you looked good. You didn’t look bad at all.” Both of them sort of quieted down. “Um, we better get going and find both of them.” “Yeah,” Kendall replied swimming her way over to the edge of the pool to crawl out. Ike went to swim to the opposite end to get out. Both of them, completely drenched, walked back to each other looking for something to dry off with but found nothing. “We are going to freeze going back into the hotel, their AC is cranked.” “I say we forget about finding them, they’ll come back on their own.” “I agree, it was nice talking to you but I have to go and get dried off. See you later.” And Kendall took of running down the hall to the elevator and Ike hung back a little and started walking to his room.
Ike quietly sneaked into his room and peeled off the wet clothes, dried himself off and put on some new clothes. He walked over to his bed and crawled in. He realized someone else was also in his bed. Turned over he noticed it was Zac. Ike lay there for a few seconds before deciding on his plan of action. Quietly, he started wrapping Zac in one of the sheets and Zac kept sleeping through it. He lifted up his brother, put him in the bathtub, got ready to shut the curtain, and he popped on the shower to full blast ICE cold. A scream was heard throughout the rooms and their parents and managers came running in within a matter of minutes. “What’s going on here?” Their bodyguard burst open. Zac ripped open the bathroom door wet, cold, shaking, red, and mad beyond all belief. “WHO DID THAT?” Screamed out Zac. Taylor finally decided to wake up, “why is everyone in here?” Taylor shot up straight in bed and scanned the room and when he came to Zac he grinned, then smiled, and started laughing. “WAY TO GO IKE!” And he fell back into bed roaring with laughter. Everyone started at Ike and his mother spoke up, “Isaac Hanson that was so immature and uncalled for.” He wanted to tell his mother what he had been doing for the last hour but shut up. “Ok Ike this can’t go on without punishment.” “Mom, I’m 18.” “Then ACT like it! And as long as you are with us you are punished got that?” “Yes mother.” “Your father and I are going to discuss your punishment. And ALL three of you are in for it.” Taylor popped up, “no, that is just cruel. Make Ike and Zac, I didn’t do anything all I have been doing is sleeping.” “Taylor, you should have stopped this.” “I wasn’t even awake!” “Don’t talk back to your mother.” Their father said angrily. After all of them left Zac was scared. Taylor and Ike were giving him death stares. They ignored him and went to sleep. Zac changed into sweatpants and a sweatshirt and went to Sarah’s room to sleep afraid of the wrath of Ike and Taylor. Ike and Taylor told him he was to be back by 7:00 that morning. He agreed and ran all the way to Sarah’s waking them up for the second time that night.
Sarah woke up that morning. She looked and saw her two friends were ok. She was tired and checked the clock. It read 7:00. Kendall was sleeping happily and contently. Zac slept with Sarah in her bed because she wouldn’t let Zac sleep on the floor and Zac wouldn’t let her sleep anywhere else. She was going to turn over and see if Zac was still asleep when she couldn’t really move. That’s when she finally felt he warmth of someone’s arm across her shoulder. “Sarah!” Kendall hissed. Obviously she woke up when Sarah looked away. “What?” She started laughing. “Damn, I wish you could see the look on this kid’s face. It’s so cute!” “Why? What does it look it?” Kendall got up and took her still camera out of her side of pocket of the duffel bag. “Close your eyes and make it look like you’re sleeping.” Sarah obeyed, and sensed the flash go off and she slowly opened her eyes. “When we get these pictures developed you’ll see what I mean.” Sarah slowly wiggled her way out of his grasp and she got out of bed. She looked at him and her movement made him wake up. “What time is it?” He said groggily. “It’s 7:00.” It took him a minute to react. “WHAT?” And he jumped up, “SHIT!” “Why? What? What’s wrong?” “They are going to murder me!” And Zac jumped up and hugged Sarah quickly, “thank you but I have to go I’ll talk to you later! I hope you have fun and think about what I asked you.” She nodded and he quickly left the room. She shut the door and turned around. Kendall was grabbing some clothes. “I’m taking my shower real quick. Hey, you don’t happen to have an extra razor do you?” “No, you shouldn’t need it.” “Excuse me? I’m going to be in the same room as Lance right?” “Well, yes why.” Her friend just looked at her and grinned. “Oh my gosh Kendall. Yes I do, and I can’t believe you.” “Hey, a girl always has to be prepared!” Sarah tossed her an extra razor and seconds later the shower flipped on. Sarah started to get some of her stuff out of her bag and opened the window. She noticed the mall out of her window. Her jaw dropped and thinking to herself they are going to go shopping the next night. Kendall took about 10 minutes and was out of the shower. “Go for it Sarah.” Sarah walked in and started up the shower.
