Sarah lied on the bed her hips aching. A doctor left about 15 minutes ago and finished up the tan colored stitches after removing the butterflies. He also said that she bruised her hip pretty bad but it should be better within the next day or so and she should be fine for the awards in the next couple of days.
She sighed and lay there. After about 10 minutes there was a knock on the door. "Come in!" "I can't the door is locked." She knew immediately who it was. "Sorry Justin, I'm coming." She slowly got up and winced in pain. She hobbled over and opened the door. He came in and shut the door while she went back to the bed and sat there. "I'm sorry you had to open the door." "That's ok, I've been through much worse." Then when Justin cleared his throat he finally spoke up. "If you don't mind me asking why did you needed to get stitched back up? Did you hurt yourself pretty bad?" She didn't really want to talk about it but really didn't have much of a choice and after that incident, he did deserve a little explanation.
"I had a heart transplant a couple of weeks ago. It's still healing actually." He looked horrified. "Are you serious?" "Dead serious." "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. No one like you deserves something like that happen to you!" "Well, it's over and that's all that matters at the moment." "No kidding, you are so lucky you found a donor! There are millions of people who die every year who need one and never seem to get one!" He noticed her shuttering, "let's not even imagine that ok?" Moving from the foot of the bed he sat next to her hips. "Well, I'm sorry that happened to you." "So am I!" She said looking at him slightly grinning and frowning. She was going to start another conversation with him but that's when she heard a knock on the adjoining door of their hotel rooms.
Chills of terror raced down her spine, "Justin, you have to leave now." "Why? I can be civil to them!" "I'm aware of this but they can't quite yet." "Well that's their problem. They need to work on it." "I am AWARE of this but don't start anything. Just please leave!" "I'm going to need payment." "I'm not giving you money to leave, you are going to get off the bed, walk over to the door, open it, walk out, shut it, and then you are going to go back to where ever you came from." "I'm not referring to money." "Then what do you want?" He looked at her and smiled. She couldn't figure it out and then it dawned on her, she was going to say no way in hell until she heard the doorknob turn. She quickly grabbed his collar, kissed him, and he left within a minute flat.
Zac ripped open the door and barged in. "Ok, fine, don't open the door for me." "Well I'm sorry Zac but you try walking around with hips in this much pain." He just shrugged it of and sat down on the one of the chairs in the opposite end of the room. Just then Taylor and Isaac invited themselves into her room. Slightly annoyed she looked at all of them and spoke up, "what if I had been undressing or something and you guys just come walking on it." "Well, then that would be one form of entertainment," he said cockily. She just smirked at him and threw one of her down pillows at him. He caught it before it hit him. When he caught the pillow there was a knock on the door.
No one got up to answer it, that's when whoever it was knocked again. Taylor stood up, "ok I'll get it!" And he walked over to the door and opened it up. He jaw dropped and he just kept staring.
At the door was a gorgeous brunette. She hair down to her waist and it was spiral curly. She had piercing blue eyes, slender nose, and just the perfect size and colored lips.
The girl looked at the gawking teenager, "um, hello, do you know which room Nsync is staying?" The blonde boy just kept staring and didn't say anything, like he didn't even here her. That's when a second blonde kid came to the door that looked younger then him, "hi, pardon me for my older brother. He's got what you call "raging hormones"." Taylor spun around and just glared at his brother. The girl just laughed, and the young boy spoke again, "hey Tay, go change shirts you have drool all over it." The girl laughed ever harder and Taylor tried with all his might not to seriously kill his younger brother. Zac looked at the girl again and understood what his brother was staring at. She was very pretty and she had very good posture. She was just as tall as Taylor was if not a little taller.
Sarah watched this poor girl at the door. "Hello! Do you need some help?" The girl pushed herself into the room and had to physically move Taylor out of the way. "Yes, I'm sorry to bother you. Do you know which room Nsync is staying in?" Sarah nodded, "they are three doors on the left. I think they are in about 2 or three rooms." "Thanks, do you know which one JC, Justin, and Joey are in?" "Um, I think they are in the fourth one. Why?" She said wondering why she was looking for Justin, and HIS room." "Well, they told me they were staying here and told me I had to come by. Thanks for letting me know." She started to walk out of the door, "wait, how old are you?" "I'm 20, why?" "No reason." She said smiling thinking hate and death thoughts about this girl and that she was looking for Justin. "Ok, well then, I better go find them then thank you." "Well, Justin isn't here." "Oh, that's great." And she turned around once again to leave and Sarah stopped her again, "well, you could try their room a bit later since he isn't here." "Well, I don't care if Justin is here, but what about JC?" "What about him?" "Well, is my boyfriend here?" Sarah started getting ticked off and didn't really notice Hanson was staring at her for acting like this, especially Ike. "Look, I said your boyfriend is NOT here." "No, you said Justin wasn't here!" Then it dawned on her, "OH! JC is your boyfriend! I'm sorry, I misunderstood you." The girl smiled slightly, "I'm Cassandra, and do you really think I'd look for Justin? Come on, I'm older then him." "I'm Sarah, you're right, I don't know what I was thinking. Sorry about that." "No problem, are you dating Justin?"
This was a major blow to Isaac's gut. "No she isn't," he said coolly, "Sarah and I are dating." "Oh I'm sorry, I better get going now. Talk to you later Sarah." She smiled, waved, and Zac shut the door behind the girl. That's when Isaac looked over at her, "What in the hell was that all about. Why does she think you are dating Justin?" She looked at him in shock, "I don't know, she just probably threw a guess out." "Well, you sure didn't seem all that upset about the confusion." "Well why should I be?" She said crossly. "BECAUSE IT'S NOT TRUE!" Sarah sucked in her gut and Zac and Taylor looked at each other, "we're going to go now. We're hungry and we're going to get something to eat. You guys want anything?" "No!" Both of them shouted at them. Both of them raised their eyebrows and just shrugged it off and walked out of the room. "Oh let's just drop this Isaac." He glared at her, "oh we are SO not dropping this conversation yet."
Justin was in his room smiling realizing he had this bet in the bag. Joey, who was practicing dance moves looked over at him. "What are you smiling about?" "Nothing," Joey looked at him and then walked over to him and just stared him down. "If it was nothing you wouldn't be grinning like a retard." He sighed, "fine, I was thinking about Sarah." He put his head in his hand, "Justin, she's taken, leave it." "No, because I'm going to win her." "Excuse me, what do you mean WIN her?" "It's nothing Joey, let's drop this whole thing." "No, you brought it up." He sighed and Justin told him the whole thing and Joey just listened to him in disgust. After he finished Joey just looked at him and then started to lie into him, "that is so low Justin. What, so she is just some prize to be won to you guys?" Justin tried to defend himself but Joey wouldn't let him. Joey just got back up and put their music on in the background and kept practicing while Justin sighed and started singing along to their music.
