Review:

The Music: Packed with insanely good riffage, good beats, and solid vocals. Its rare, with a local band, that a song from the first show of theirs I see will stick enough in my mind that I recognize a ridd of chorus at the next show, but a couple of Blackrooted's songs have. That alone speaks of how much ass they kick.
The Shows: This is another band I stay in a fixed spot for. Tim can fucking tear it up, and their music is the kind that blasts it's way into your blood. I'm sure preferring a spot near the speakers isn't exactly imrpvoing my already bad hearing, but it puts a smile on my face.
The Lyrics: Their site isn't up yet, so while I'm at a loss for a direct quote- for the moment- I will say that I like the lyrics. They have meaning that is easy to understand and relate to- and it doesn't sound uber-angsty. Listen closely when you see them live.. The lyrics are really good.
The Crowds: I had sort of a side view at the last show- But at the show before that, they had everyone in the room jamming along. At Insomnia. Nuff said.
The band themselves: Uh.. I suck.. I haven't really talked to anyone in Blackrooted yet. Me + being shy = Lame. I promise I'll go be a pest at the next show.
