Home At Last

"Where's the book?" was the next thing Dart said before he took the book from James. He quickly opened the book and skimmed through the pages. Not too long after a portal opened up. He carefully picked up Claris and entered the portal followed by everyone else in the group. Once upon reaching the other side they stumbled upon something startling... A city in ruins. Everwhere there was death, splintered wood, what used to be buildings, nothing of what it was intact Apparently it had been attacked not too long before but who or what ever attacked it was gone.

Claris had woken up not too long after and saw this as well. At the time she felt alone because no one was paying attention to her except for maybe Dart. Soon Dart went to check on the others when a strange eagle like creature appeared before Claris. It knew who Erelyn/Claris was and told her how to call on him if she needed help. The creature's name was Tyrs.

James in the mean time walked around town, something about the condition of the town was nagging at him, as if he'd seen it before. Where? He didn't know. How? He didn't know either. He ended up wandering away from the group.

In a different Dimension, Abyss/Leo had just recieved a strange amulet which made him stronger and Morgan decided to send him in to attack the group. So they do, and Abyss transforms into his "favorite" form, A Black Dragon and causes a tornado of fire to burn down a nearby town. "6.8" Leo deadpanned, not impressed or amused.

In the mean time the group were wandering the remains of what used to be a village or city. Most of them felt there was something wrong but didn't know for sure. It wasn't long before they notice the hell fire and started after them.

Dalmeth was the first to attack with a spell, which had basically no affect, and other took a few shot at him. The battle with Abyss was joined.
