Where the Road Leads

The party was actually teleported to Silver's world, which once flourished with magic, but was destroyed by the greed of a man for power. There is no more life in this world except for Dart, Rosa, and the others. Other than that, the world was dead.

Silver now being out of magic, in order to get back to their home world, they need to go through the Crystal Palace, reeking with undead and immortals, and go through the warp station. However, this would wait until the next day. They rested most of the day, talking about what happened and bringing up possibilities of who could have done it.

It was then when Silver mentioned seeing a powerful mage-knight near the village close to the time of this happening.

They then bagan to discuss legends and Mage-Knights. After a good long period of discussion, Silver showed them their rooms and they went to sleep. However, Silver instead went to her library and did some research. She eventually found Morgan Aliera in one of the history books. She immediately ran towards the rooms, waking up the others.

They discussed and pondered this for a while. They were going up against a legend? Damn, that is pressure. After a long period of time, they finally decided to go after Sword Kaiser. However, first they were going to have to get home.

At this time, Rosa grabs her chast in pain and falls to the ground. Her breathing is very deep and she has a very frightened look on her face...as if she had seen a ghost. She sat and stared at nothing, not responding to Darts calls. He took her in and lied her on the bed.

Silver mentioned a laboratory where she kept a lot of cures and remedies. Dart then asked Max to go and get some for Rosa. Max then walked down the ;ong corridor and into the room, grabbing a few labeled bottles and flasks. Upon exiting, he accidentally knocks an unlabeled flask onto the floor and breaks it. An undead rat comes out of hiding and begins to drink the contents. It grabs its stomach and begins to grow to extremely large proportions.

Silver and Aerin hear the commotion and run to help. Silver grabs a shrinking potion and uses it on the rat. It DID shrink. however, it also transformed into a chimera-like creature. Silver then used the rest of her magic to sprout wings, fly it through the roof into the sky, and drop it into the crystel palace, stabbing it along the way.

Silver then fell out of the sky, exhausted. Dart and Max carried her in and layed her down next to Rosa. They then all went to sleep.
