Spending a long day together away from home, Dart and Rosa travel together to a secret place at the top of a plateau (a beautiful plain filled with flowers and birds)
After spending lots of lesiure time together, Dart feels something is seriously wrong. He turns and looks down the plateau to find his village on fire.
Dart and Rosa hurriedly run home to discover that everyone is dead. However, it wasn't from a fire. It was all done with a sword. It was an onslaught. Some were even beheaded or pinned to their doors with wood or their own knives.
Then, Dart ran home and found his father dead. Aerin SilverWolf heard his loud cry as she was passing through the destroyed town and went to them. At this time, Dart threw up and passed out.
Also passing through the town was Maxim Arcaines or just Max. After dealing with who looked like a group of bandits, he made his way to the destroyed town. Looking around for survivors, he finds the party and catches up with them as well.
This whole time, Silver (Vida Tara Night) was hiding from the party, afraid that they would accuse her of decimating Jhegalla. She would reveal herself when she is certain that they can be trusted.
Finding shelter for the night, Rosa takes everyone into their overly large underground besement, where Dart was treated and everyone was fed. There they exchanged their stories and histories and finally went to sleep...
