Bio:Son of Edward Arcaines, the wealthiest man in
Phados. His grandfather was Ark Arcaines, a famous
well respected swordsman who dissapeared not long
after Max was born. Though he never met his
grandfather, his father told him much about him, and
it inspired him to become a knight of Phados. His
father liked the idea, but did not want him to go
through the stage of page, squire and knight, because
he was a noble. The wealthiest man in Phados. He
found it insulting for his son to be shoveling shit
and scrubbing stables. So he proposed to King Alfred
that he receive private training from a knight, and
when he comes of age, to let him become a knight.
King Alfred, of course refused because he didn’t want
to waste his time. But Edward Arcaines knew his king
all too well. He knew he was almost as wealthy as the
king himself, and proposed that he pay him handsomely.
King Alfreds greed got the best of him, and he
accepted. To make sure he did not dissapoint him,
King Alfred gave Max private training lessons with
Cecil himself, captain of the Phados guard. Up to the
age of sixteen he trained under Cecil, receiving good
reports, despite how strict Cecil was. His father
said it was not just the training under one of the
strongest known warriors. Max’s grandfathers
swordsmanship was said to have rivaled Cecils own.
And swordsmanship ran in his blood. But King Alfreds
greed was boundless. When Max was at the age of
sixteen, King Alfred ordered fifty soldiers to
personally burn the Arcaines manor to the ground and
kill everyone there, and take the money. He had
developed a taste for Arcaines wealth. Max was out at
the time, when he got back, a knight who helped burn
the manor said it was bandits. No one could say
otherwise because all witnesses were dead. He was
denied further training by Cecil, because he no longer
had money to pay. He knew all along, deep down that
it was Alfred, and not the bandits. But he couldn’t
do a thing. Nobody beleived he was of the Arcaines
family. He was forced to wander, being laughed at
when he said his name, and vowing never to return to
Phados until his strength rivaled that of Cecil
himself, and he would have his revenge. As he
traveled he continuosly met strange people, they all
helped him, and were the only people wo showed him
kindness. One was a peddler who gave him food for
free, another was an old washe dup knight who taught
him swordsmanship, another was an old man who owned an
inn who let him rest for free. They all seemed to
have something in common, though he couldn’t quite put
his finger on it...

Weapon:Tempest(sword type, wind elemental)
Info:Light in weight and razor sharp, yet capable of
holding a normal blade as well, this blade could be
used by a child, and could be deadly in the hands of a
skilled swordsman.
Attributes:Light weight, randomly casts "Razor wind"
Appearance:A green-bladed sword that looks worn due to
its age if you look at the blade itself, but yet, it
seems to gleam with a sort of brilliance. It's guard
and pommel are a polished gold, and are engraved with
art, the guard has the symbol of the "wind spear"
pointing towards eachother towards a large emerald in
the center of it, and its pommel is ridged and has a
saphire on the end. its handles grip is soft and gives
the impression of gripping air when held. It's blade
is about 4-feet in length and is slightly curved,
making its razor edge ideal for slashing, but can be
used well for piercing if executed with skill. Though
no one can see without looking closely, it seems to
have some sort of runes engraved on it, though it is
impossible to deceipher them without being fluent.
History:
Tempest is an elvish sword, but it was forged by a
dwarven craftsman. the way this came upon happening is
a very long story, so I'll just give the basic
outlines. This was actually the sword owned by Maxs
grandfather. As most of you may know, dwarves and
elves never usually liked eachother that much in
legends. This was the same old story. Dwarves and
elves feuding for so long they don't remember what
started it. But Max's grandfather, Ark finally ended
the feud after a lot of trouble trying to make each
chief talk it out, which never works, but eventually
he found the base problem and ended up solving it
through words and sword. To thank him, the dwarves
crafted the most beautiful sword they could craft, and
the elves, using their ancient magic, enchanted the
sword with a wind spirit, saying it symbolized how Ark
seemed to come and go with great speed and silence
like the wind. Ark left and it had been his sword that
he used by his side right to the end when he
mysteriously dissapeared. The dwarf and elf feud soon
came back after Ark left, in an argument over who did
the better end of making the sword. It was said to
have dissapeared with Ark..
