When the world was first created, the spirits of twelve angels invoked the bodies of twelve chosen humans. These humans were called "Purehearts". Every Pureheart had a gift given to them by the gods and carried the extraordinary power of an angel.
Then there were the Holy Wars. During the endless battle between Michael and Death, two swords were crafted worthy of the battlefield. One was Sword Kaiser, containing the spirit of the Dragon God. The other was Stormfinder, containing the power of the 5 Storms of Legend: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Darkness, and Holy. This sword had the ability to steal the souls of its victims, increasing the strength of its wielder.
After a long struggle, the two legendary swords were scattered, and only the chosen could approach them.
Then one day, another man appeared. This man was named Morgan Aliera. He hungered for power and had a heart of pure evil. Morgan was chosen by Death to carry out his wishes. Death granted him the endless power of Stormfinder, making him already unstoppable. However, Morgan did things differently. He wanted more power. He wanted to become a god! So Morgan sought out to find the Purehearts. Every Pureheart that was absorbed, his power increased tenfold. His lust for power became stronger and stronger. It was as if he became a monster.
But then, another appeared. His name was Alexander Drakkon. Alexander had lost his wife Laura, another Pureheart, to the blade of Stormfinder and sought revenge for her death. So, he sought the help of Kaiser. The dragon god saw the sense of justice and righteousness within him and entrusted him with the power of Sword Kaiser.
After a long battle at Castle Morgan, Alexander had seemed to have lost all hope. Stricken with a fatal wound, he used all the energy he had left to seal Morgan away, so that he could never hurt another soul again. Placing Sword Kaiser back in the Crystal Cave, Alexander lays on the hard ground and peacefully passes away.
However, even though Morgan has been sealed away, Stormfinder still has its ability to absorb the souls of its victims.
Alexander was a Pureheart.
Seven Purehearts were sacraficed before Morgan was put away. However, could a magical seal really last forever?
Little did they know... that Ramza is a douchebag.
