Marlfox

Marlfox begins with Janglur Swifteye, the warrior squirrel, and his family is traveling on a long journey through Mossflower. As Janglur talks with his daughter, Songbreeze, two Marlfoxes named Vannan and Ascrod suddenly appear. Janglur may be a seasoned warrior but he and his family are still in danger, because Marlfoxes are supposed to be magic! Meanwhile at Redwall, abbey dwellers are hard at work taking water to the abbey orchards to help outlast the long drought. But little do they know that they would soon be in grave danger and that danger is worse because at this time Redwall has no Abbot or Abbess or even Abbey Champion to protect them!
