Fix Up

Fixup Version 2.1

I added version numbers and, once again, fixed a few errors...
I've made SURE it handles files correctly.

Contact me at knormalnight@bigger.com if you ran this batch and you can't get into windows anymore, and read "Fixme.txt" for instructions on restoring your system from DOS.

This is a set of files i edited to make Scandisk and Defrag work better and faster.
It makes as few drivers and programs start up as possible.
I noticed that with my version of windows 98, i often had to wait a long time for defrag just to get through with scanning the drive for errors. Scandisk had similar complaints, as it restarted a lot, and made a simple scandisk less than feasable at 15 minutes a scan.
I hope this works as well for everyone else as it does for me.
(note: Scandisk, Defrag, and even Program Manager can be run without using these files.)

Requirements:
Before you use these files, you have to be able to do the following:
1. Change Directories(CD), Copy and Rename files while in DOS
2. Navigate windows without a mouse.(As in Alt-Tabbing between programs, using Alt to open menu commands, Tab to select different buttons, Etc.)
---
How to navigate windows without a mouse
You can use the following button combinations to access different buttons and commands, and open programs:

Hold Alt and press Tab: Switches between programs. Hold Alt and press Tab more than once to scroll through the list of availible windows.

Press Alt to open menu commands like "File", and "Edit". Pressing Alt, then Down makes the list for that command appear. You can then use the Left and Right keyboard buttons to move to different commands, then Up and Down to select items from the menu.

Press Tab to select different buttons within the same window, like moving from the "Start" button to the "Exit" button in Scandisk.

Enter activates the selected command or button.

Mr. Jargon
I know just enough jargon to be confusing, so heres a list of terms to refer to:

Root directory - This is the top-most directory availible.
Examples of this would be C:\, D:\, E:\, F:\, Etc.

Batch File - .bat files

DOS Window - This refers to the Black screen with White letters on it.

Program Manager - This is loaded so you can exit windows. Click the Close(X) button
and you'll be given an option to end your windows session.
