"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" - Mark 8:36

This page is intended to be a guide for those who are looking for something more in their lives. Many times we feel like we are all alone in the world and that no one hears our cries or sees the pain that we go through. Throughout my personal experiences in life, I have relied on my faith in God to see me through. There are many things that I know I could not have gotten through without the help of God. Many times, I know that his hand was on my back pushing me through the hard times and troubles that life brought me. It is all worth it just to know that I will be able to meet him one day in Heaven. I am just like many of you, a regular person with a family. I have bills to pay, children to raise, and a family to feed. My life is not perfect and I do not always get what I want. But God always provides me with what I NEED. This is a very important lesson that each of us must learn over time. If this page helps at least just one person, then it is well worth it. Please read, and open your heart to God. He will change your life. You don't have to take my word for it. See for yourself. - Steve Loftin, Neo-Gen

God's plan for YOUR salvation

God loves every one of us. He wants us to sit beside his throne in Heaven. Imagine the most peaceful place you have ever known. There is no crime, no fighting, no wars, no hatred, and no mistrust. Everyone are brothers and sisters in Christ. This is Heaven. In order to go to Heaven, you must be born again.

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." -John 3:6-7

In the Holy Bible, God lays out the plan on how we may be born again. Being born again means to be saved through Christ. This plan is very simple. YOU can be saved TODAY! How? read on...

FIRST, you must realize that YOU are a sinner. None of us is perfect. We all have our faults and our flaws. Sometimes, this is hard to admit. But deep down, we all know that it is true. But God accepts each one of use as individuals. After all, he is our creator. But realizing and confessing your sin is a must. No man is without sin.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23

Because you are a sinner, you are condemned to death. This includes the act of eternal seperation from God into the fiery pits of Hell.

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:27-28

God loves us so much that he gave his only begotten son to bear our sin and die in our places. This is Jesus.

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.." - 2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus had to shed his blood and die so that we may have the chance to be cleansed of our sins.

"But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

It may be very hard to understand how, but God said that my sins and yours were laid upon Jesus. This is why he died in our place. He became a substitute for us. It is true. God can't lie. We must repent in order to be saved. Your sins must be confessed and you should ask forgiveness from God.

In order to be saved, you must believe with your whole heart. You must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for YOUR sins. Believe that he bore your sin unto himself and gave his life so that you may live an eternity in Heaven through God's saving grace.

You must believe that Jesus bore your sin, died in your place, and was resurrected by God. The resurrection powerfully assures that any believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is recieved as the true savior.

"Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or sivler, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he shall judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." - Acts 17:29-31

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." - Acts 16:31

"But as many as recieved him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13

"For with the heart man believeeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. for the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon that name of the lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:10-13

Whosoever shall call upon the Lord will be saved! THIS MEANS YOU!!! You WILL be saved. If you have read this far, surely your heart is opening to the word of God and you realize that you are a sinner. At this moment, wherever you are, work, school, home...wherever. Do not be ashamed. Lift your heart to God in prayer. Jesus told his disciples the following parable:

"And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for everyone that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." - Luke 18:13-14

Just pray a few words and mean them with all sincerity from your open heart to God's open ears.

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus was my substitute when he died on the cross. I believe that his shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now recieve him as my savior. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of your merciful grace. Amen."

You just have to take God at his word. Put your trust in him and claim his salvation by faith. If you believe, you will be saved. No man, no group, no church, no club, or any other worldly entity can save you. God is the one who saves!

Unless you recognize that you are a sinner and unless you believe on Jesus who died in your place, you will spend eternity in hell. If you believe in Jesus, the crucified, buried, and risen savior, you recieve forgiveness for all of your sins and his gift of eternal salvation by faith.

You may think it all seems too simple. Surely it does. But IT IS that simple! It is in the scriptures of the Holy Bible. It is in God's plan that you be saved. If you have not understood God's plan, read this page again, consult a Christian minister, READ THE BIBLE! Study over and over again until you understand God's plan for your salvation. Your soul is worth more than all the world.

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" - Mark 8:36

Be sure that you are saved. If you lose your soul you will miss all the glorious happiness awaiting you in Heaven. Please, let God save you at this very moment! God's power will save you, keep you saved and enable you to live a victorious Christian life. Do not trust your feelings. They cahnge. Stand on the promises of God. They never change. After you are saved there are a few things that you should practice daily to ensure your spiritual growth and further closeness with God.

PRAY every day and talk to God. READ YOUR BIBLE to allow God to speak to you through the word. WITNESS to others about the glory of God and what he has done in your life.

Once you have committed yourself to a life for God, allow him to work in your life. You will find that your old lifestyle was lacking and you will be at a greater inner peace than you could ever imagine. Times will get rough as you go through the trials and tribulations of life, but God will always be there to watch ver his faithful children. He leads us all out of harms way and always does what is best for us.

You should be baptized as a public obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. This is a public testimony of your faith. Keep yourself schooled in the word of God. Feed yourself on the knowledge of his works. This can be done in many ways. Through church attendance you can fellowship with other Christians and learn of God's word. It is important to find a church that preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every church is different, as every person is different. You have to find the one that is right for you. Do not be discouraged. God will lead you.
