Sequel -- Dreams Come True
At the same time, Lori walks down from the stairs. She's in a black dress. She notices a really pretty girl next to Nick. She's in a silver dress, blonde hair and tall. Lori immediately has a hard feeling. Nick turns around and spots Lori.
"Mom... there's someone I want you to meet." He walks over to Lori, holds her hand and says to Lori, "Come with me..."
Then they approahes Jane. "Mom... this is Lori..." Nick says.
"Hi Mrs. Carter, nice to meet you." Lori smiles.
"Hi sweetie..." Jane says warmly.
They started to play the song "I'll Never Break Your Heart."
"Nick, why don't you dance with Linda." Jane says.
"But mom... I just brought Lori over and..." Nick says.
"It's okay Nick... go ahead." Lori says.
"See Nick... Lori don't mind at all..." Jane says.
As Nick and Linda are dancing, Lori walks to the deck. Nick is looking at Lori while he is dancing with Linda. After the song is over, Linda speaks up.
"Nick... it's so nice to get to dance with you... I mean... I'm a Backstreet fan, I wonder if we..."
"Excuse me Linda..." Nick walks away before Linda could finish her sentence. He walks towards the deck and finds Lori.
"Hey..." Nick says.
"Oh... done with the dance?" LOri smiles.
"Yea... I'm sorry Lori... I didn't know my mom will..." Nick says.
"That's okay... she's so pretty, tall and blonde, totally your type Nick..." Lori says.
"No... Lori, she's not... you are..." Nick says.
"What are you talking about Nick..."
"You know exactly what I'm talking about Lori... you know it all the way, what's going on... I know you understand what I'm talking about onstage last night..."
"Nick, but..." Lori says.
"Lori... never in my life I've been so serious about a girl... you're very special to me... if you're not ready for a relationship, just tell me..."
"What if I'm really not ready?" Lori tries to test Nick.
"Oh... I'll wait for you then..." Nick says, looking depress.
Lori smiles at Nick's upset face, she's just testing him... "I guess you really have to wait..."
"Okay..." Nick says.
Lori kisses Nick's cheek, Nick is surprised. He looks at Lori. "I thought you said I've to wait... what am I waiting for in this case?" He puts his arms around Lori.
"Our first kiss... maybe..." Lori smiles.
"I don't think I'll wait..." Nick then put his lips on Lori's. Both of their dreams come true. When their lips leave each other's, they look into each other's eyes and smile.
On the other hand, Linda walks over to Jane Carter.
"What's wrong Linda?" Jane asks.
"hmm... Jane, I don't know... Nick just walks away after the dance... and I really wanna know if he has a girlfriend or not..." Linda says.
"No that I know of... oh that son... don't worry Linda... I know how you feel about Nick... now come with me hun, let's go talk to Nick." Jane says.
Just as they're walking around, another song starts, it's "I Promise You (With Everything I Am)". Finally, they found Nick, but instead of going up to him, they stand still... just staring...
Nick once again put his lips on Lori's while they're dancing to the music.

"Lori?" Nick whispers.
"Yes?"
"I will love you like I'll never love again." and he holds Lori tightly in his arms.
Lori remembers her dream... Nick is the tall man in her dream on the first day they got to know each other. She smiles and lays her head on Nick's shoulder and the dance goes on.
