Chapter Seven -- Forever In Your Eyes
On the other hand, Lori is walking back to the hotel. She's all soaked.
Nick sees her once she gets closer. He takes off his jacket and put it on her.
"Lori, where did you go? Everybody is so worry about you..." Nick said anxiously.
"I..." Lori faints into Nick's arms before she could finish her sentence.
"Lori!!!" Nick holds Lori up and brings her back to her room.
"Oh my god! What happen?" Melissa asks as she opens the door.
"She faints away... she's having a fever!" Nick says.
~ Next morning -- 9:05 am ~
Lori's eyes slowly opens. She sits up when a cold wet towel drops from her forehead. She realizes that she must had a fever and someone had been taking care of her for the whole night because she finds towels all over the table next to her. She dresses herself up and decides to go find the others. Just as Lori opens the door, Melissa comes in.
"Hey Lori... you feeling better? You look way better now." Melissa says.
"Where did you go Melissa?"
"Oh... breakfast with Kevin..." Melissa smiles.
"Oh... something is going on... anyways.... thanks for taking care of me last night." Lori says.
"What are you talking about Lori? I slept the whole night last night..." Melissa says.
"Then who's with me the whole night?" Lori asks.
"It's Nick, Lori. He just went back to his room not long ago. Lori... I'm not saying that you need a boyfriend that soon... but everybody could tell that Nick likes you and treats you well..." Melissa says.
"I think I should go thank him..." Lori says.
Lori walks over to Nick's room, knocks on the door.
"Hi Nick..." Lori says.
"Hey Lori! OMG! You're okay now... whew... what a relief..." Nick takes Lori's hands unintentionally.
"hmm... Nick, thanks for taking care of me last night... thanks so much." Lori says.
"No prob! Lori... just don't do that to yourself anymore." Nick says, looking into Lori's eyes.
"I won't do that anymore, I promise... but I guess I'm not gonna be ready for a new relationship yet..." Lori says as she slightly slid her hands out of Nick's.
"Oh... okay... I understand... just remember all of us will always be there for you." Nick says, with a fake smile, he is actually really upset.
Lori makes herself clear through that simple statement. It's not that she don't like Nick, nor rejecting him. It's just that everything is happening way too fast...
Faster than Lori could handle...
~ 2 months later ~
The Europe tour has officially came to an end. Everybody will be returning to the US today. After this dismiss, there will be a smaller chance for them to see each other, since the BSB has really busy schedules. The Boys are going to New York for interviews, while Melissa and Lori is going back to Florida.
Kevin holds Melissa tightly in his arms and says, "Bye Sweetie, I'll call you okay?"
"Okay..." Melissa says as she gives Kevin a kiss. They have been going out for a month, things hit off for them in Europe.
Nick walks up to Lori, "so... I heard you quit the band and you're gonna move to San Francisco once you go back, right?"
"Yea..." Lori answers.
"I guess we'll have less chance to see each other then..."
"We're still the best of friends right?" Lori says.
"Of course... this will never change... bye Lori... take care." Nick gives Lori a really big hug.
