Chapter Twelve - Just For You
Once they enter the house, Lori is shocked about what she sees. On the living room wall hangs a 40 by 60 big framed picture of Nick and Lori, it's just like a giant poster of them hanging there, it is the first picture they ever took, the one took by Laney after the first time Nick gave Lori a ride home.
The whole house is decorated with pink and white roses, and all around the house are small framed pictures that Nick and Lori took.
"Oh my god..." Lori exclaimed.
"Do you like these decorations?" Nick asks, holding Lori tightly from the back.
"Nick, you did all these?" Lori asks.
"Yes, just for you..." Nick smiles. "I would like this to be our house Lori."
"That's why I love you..." Lori smiles.
FOUR MONTHS LATER - OAKLAND ARENA - 7:03 PM
This is the first day of Lori's first solo headline concert. She has her first concert right here in Oakland because this is where she is originally from and where her parents are staying now. Two months ago, Lori moves in with Nick. Tonight right before she goes onstage, she got a present from Nick, she opens it before she goes onstage...
"Hello Oakland! Welcome and hope you guys like the song 'Tendor Love' that I just did..." Lori said, follows by fans' screams and applause.
"Well... Thanks so much for coming, without you guys, I won't be here at all... I still remember the first time I ever got in contact with this music industry was almost two years ago, when I got a role in Backstreet Boys' video 'Too Much Love,' the Boys are here today and I would like to thank them for giving me this chance... I know that the original version of the video with me in it has never been shown in public, and today, I've asked for permission to show it right here... so I hope you guys will like it..."
As they are playing the video, Lori goes backstage and gets changed. Once the video is over, Lori goes onstage once again, in a beautiful long white dress.
"So how do you guys like it? This video was the first gift from Nick... before I go onstage today, Nick gave me another gift and told me to open it before the concert starts, and I did... Nick, thanks so much for this gift..." Lori said as the camera zooms to her hand, Lori is wearing an engagement ring. "and I'm wearing the gift now, Nick, the answer is yes and I love you."
"As a return, I have a little gift for you too, here's a song I wrote for you, which premiers right here on my first concert and hope all of you will like it too..." Lori smiles as she looks at Nick, who is showing her the engagement ring he is wearing, "It's called 'Just For You.'"
