LATER THAT NIGHT -- 12:19 AM
Nick drives home. Just as he pulls over, he sees Lori waiting at his front door.
"Lori?" Nick says.
"Hey Nick! You're finally home..." Lori says.
"Come on in." Nick opens the door and they enter the house. Winky runs towards Nick and Lori. Nick took Winky with him after Lori lost her memory. Suki has to take care of Lori, leaving no time to take care of Winky.
"Winky!!!" Lori holds her up in the air. "You miss me?"
"Lori! You remember Winky?" Nick asks Lori, with his hands on both of her arms.
"I remember you bought Winky for me... I remember the day we drove N-Control and I remember you told me you love me under the sky full of shining stars hanging up high." Lori smiles.
"Lori! You remember everything between us?" Nick says anxiously.
"Everything since the day I met you..." Lori says.
Nick kisses Lori passionately. As the night falls, the two had become one, nothing else can separate them.
A YEAR LATER
Lori and Nick are having a walk at the Central Park. They pass through a few wedding parties. When they arrive at where they first met, Nick stops, Nick turns Lori towards him, he slowly get down on one knee, takes out a tiny box from his pocket.
"Lori... will you marry me?" Nick asks.
Lori takes the ring from the tiny box and wears it on. "Yes... but Nick, it's better to have our wedding soon." Lori smiles.
"Why?" Nick asks. "What's the hurry? You really wanna be Mrs. Carter that soon?" Nick jokes.
"No kidding... because in around 4 more months, I don't think I'll be able to fit in the wedding gown." Lori says.
"What do you mean Lori... you're not gonna gain weight that fast..." Nick says.
"Nick! You are not gonna have me saying it in front of everybody here right?" Lori says as she points to her tummy.
"Lori!!! You are pregnant?" Nick says happily.
"Yes.... dad-gonna-be."
Nick holds Lori in his arms, "I love you... my angel..."
