Chapter Six -- I'm All About You
"Ryan... let go of Lori right now!" Nick said.
"Nick... mind your own business... who are you to her anyways... You have no right to stop us doing what we want!" Ryan said.
"She's... she's my girlfriend... I don't think that's what she wants! Don't you touch her again!" Nick runs over and takes Lori away from Ryan. Without sayikng a word, Nick brings Lori out from the room. Ryan punches the wall with his hand, then mumbles with an evil smile, "Nick Carter... you won't be happy for long."
OUTSIDE THE JIVE RECORDS BUILDING
Nick is holding onto Lori tightly in his arms. She is crying. Once she stops, Nick uses his finger to wipes away her tears.
"Don't cry Lori... it's okay... I'm here... don't cry." Nick said.
"Thanks Nick... if it wasn't you... I don't know what I've put myself into." Lori said as she sniffs. "But Nick... you think Ryan is really going to believe what you said?"
"Well... I guess so... I mean at least I'm cuter than him right?" Nick jokes.
Lori laughs.
"See... be happy... I like you when you smile." Nick puts his hands on Lori's face, they look at each other, Nick slowly moves towards Lori... closer and closer... and finally their lips touch. Lori puts her arms around Nick and they kiss passionately.
Once their lips part, Lori looks at Nick and said, "Nick... I..."
Nick puts his finger on Lori's lips. "Shh... I know this might be too fast... how about a first date this Saturday? Deal okay! Sorry Lori... but I gotta go now... I'll see ya later."
Lori stands still and watches Nick drives his car away. She has done something that she's not supposed to do: She interrupts her mission with her personal feelings. She fell in love with Nick Carter...
5 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW
Lori brought the example of Ryan's medication to the FBI lab in Florida. She's going to get the report today. They are preparing for the show and Nick is looking for Lori, while she's waiting impatiently for the lab report. Nick is walking around, trying to find Lori. But instead, he spots Ryan next to the backstage, looks like he's fixing something.
"Ryan? What are you doing here?" As Ryan turns around, Nick figures out Ryan is setting something like a bomb. "Ryan... what the hell is that? Oh my god!" Nick tries to run and find help, but Ryan fire a bullet in the air, Nick stops.
"If you don't wanna die, you better not make another move!" Ryan shouts.
Everyone runs backstage as they heard the gun shot.
"Nick!" Kevin, Brian, AJ and Howie shouts.
"Don't you all come any closer, or I'll shoot Nick dead!" Ryan points his gun to Nick's head.
"What do you think you are doing!" Kevin shouts.
"Kev, he has got a bomb with him." Nick said as Lori and Ethen arrive.
Lori and Ethen pull out their guns immediately.
"Drop you weapon Ryan Stanley!" Lori shouts with her gun pointing to Ryan. At the same time, Nick and the rest of the Boys look at Lori and Ethen with shock.
Ethen shows Lori an eye signal. He shoots Ryan on the leg just as Lori gets Nick. Ryan runs and Ethen follows. Lori shows the way and tells Nick and the others to run.
"Come on... let's go! Nick... don't stop here, there's a bomb inside. GO!" Lori commended.
"Lori... what's going on? How come you have a gun?" Nick asked.
"We don't have time for this... come on Nick... go!" Lori turns around and goes find Ethen.
"Lori... don't!" Nick shouts, but the Boys stop him from following Lori and drag him away from the stadium as soon as possible.
Just as their vans depart, the bomb goes off and the whole stadium is on fire. They have no idea whether Lori and Ethen escapes or not. Their vans are stopped in the middle on their way and they are invited to the Florida FBI office.
"What the heck is going on..." AJ asked as Lori and Ethen entered the room.
