The Orchestra

This is the orchestra I am in. This is our formal picture shoot for our winter concert. We played J.S. Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 5"; "Symphony No. 104"(The London Symphony) by Franz Joseph Haydn; "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by J.S. Bach; Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria"; and "Procession of the Nobles" from "Mlada" (a real kicker of a peice) by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakoff.
For our Spring Pops Concert we performed music from "South Pacific", "Guys and Dolls", "The King and I", "West Side Story", "A Chorus Line", "Les Miserables", and "The Phantom of the Opera". I would have loved to have done "Cats" but C'est la vie!

(my French isn't great, if I've misspeled, let me know (German is actually my foreign forte)

The Pit

This is the same winter concert where the Sinfonia (a select group of people that performs more classical peices) is providing the music for "Sleeping Beauty", (The Ballet). I'm the guy to the right of the guy with grey hair. That guy is Mike, the principle Clarinetist.

The Orchestra in '99-'00

This is a picture from the 99-2000 season when Dr. Jackson was the director.
