nce upon a time kitchens were mystical playgrounds.  Mothers (and Fathers) delighted the household with delicious aromas. Children watched concoctions boil, the kitchen table was a fortress, and wooden spoons were magic wands.  The mixing bowls were witches caldrons and the sorcerer conducted the spatula on the griddle like a symphony.   Everyday meal making was an adventure to be found and when the children had their chance to conquer the counters well that would be…a culinary quest.
