STATION 11
OPENED 1990

Station 11 is staffed with Engine Co. 11 and a Ladder Co. 11. There are 6 firefighters and two officers assigned daily to Station 11. Station 11 covers a mix of residential homes and several commercials structures.
Station 11 is first due to a large fourteen story high rise and the South Square shopping area. There are also numerous restaurants and other commercial businesses in their first due area.
Station 11 also responds to a public housing project and is second due to Duke University and numerous nursing homes.
