Engine 1831
This engine is a 1991 Emergency-One Pumper Tanker. Engine 1831 is the First response Apparatus on Structure Fires, Vehicle Fires, HAZ-MAT incidents, or Automobile Accidents and can be use as a Tanker in water shuttle if needed.
The engine responds with a 1250 GPM Mid-Ship Pump, with a top mounted pump-panel. The Booster Tank carries 1000 gallons of water. The Tank can be off loaded by use of a Jet-Assist Ames Quick Dump, located on the rear of the Engine. The 3" Refill intake is also located on the rear of the unit for faster refills at a draft site or when the tank is supplied by another unit.
The engine carries three preconnected 200 feet of 1.75" attack hose lines, laid in the cross lays for easy access. 200 feet of 2.5" attack line is also preconnect for rapid attack. There is 1000 feet of 2.5" / 3" supply hose and 400 feet of 4" LDH supply hose.
The Engine main water supply is from a draft site using a Tanker water shuttle, a portable water tank and uses a 6" draft hose.
