This page is to document the buildup of a modified 1998 Honda 300ex engine, which will be installed in my 1996 300ex when completed.

Cost of the mods

Completed this engine and installed in the 96 300, unfortunately there was a blockage in the oil passage in the side cover. Starved the top end of oil, wiped out the cam & rockers during the 20 minute break in. Pulled the engine back out and is sitting on the work bench. Project on hold till the 400 is completed.
