The Pinecrest girls soccer team improved to 9-0 in the Mid-Southeastern Conference with a 10-0 home win over Richmond Senior on Wednesday and a 7-0 conquest at Scotland County on Friday. The Patriots, 11-3 overall, begin a busy week on Monday with a 7 p.m. match at Hoke County. They play Jack Britt at home on Wednesday before entertaining Hoggard in a non-league game on Friday. Claire Epling led the Patriots with a pair of goals in the victory over the Scots. Also finding the net were Lyndsey Anderson, Kate Hieronymus, Lauren Corrigan, Mariotti Meyers and Ally Parziale. Bailey Pages and Corrigan were credited with assists. It was the eighth shut out of the season for the Pats and fifth in a row. Corrigan scored four goals and Hieronymus had two in the win over Richmond. Single goals were recorded by Anderson, Pages, Parziale and Epling. Anderson (2), Pages, Sarah Senior, Antonia Meyers, Mariotti Meyers and Michelle Lynch were credited with assists.
