PHS GIRLS GET ANOTHER WIN IN SOCCER The Pilot, Appeared Friday, April 10th, 2009

The Pinecrest girls defeated Seventy-First 10-0 in a home soccer match played on Monday.      The Patriots, 8-3 overall, have completed the first half of their Mid-Southeastern Conference schedule with a record of 7-0. Jack Britt is in second place at 7-1.      Wednesday's home match against Douglas Byrd was postponed to a date still to be determined at the request of the Eagles. The Patriots were scheduled to meet Lumberton in a home non-league contest on Thursday.      Lyndsey Anderson and Sarah Senior each scored a pair of goals against the Falcons. Others finding the net were Kate Hieronymus, Bailey Pages, Rachel Dokich, Shannon Potter, Lauren Corrigan and Antonia Meyers. Hieronymus, Senior and Cary Keegan were credited with assists.      Pinecrest has outscored conference opponents 62-4 while posting four shutouts.
